CHAPTER 42
MORNING **LIAM’S MANSION
May pulled out her door and walked out only to meet Liam leaning close to her door fast asleep.
She stared at him and realised his hair was scattered all over his eyes and he was looking extremely gorgeous.
He was snoring by the wall and May wondered how he was able to sleep there throughout the whole night without feeling body pains.
She walked out and stared at him.
” So this old brat slept next to my door yesterday. Ugh.. disgusting!.” She said.
She brought out a shoe spray and squirmed it all over his face. Liam coughed immediately, standing up on his feet.
” Good morning.” She bit her lips nervously, hiding the can behind her backs.
” What did… you just.. sprinkled on my face?” He asked, wiping his face with a small towel as he kept on coughing hard.
” Shoe spray.” She replied bluntly, biting her lower lip.
“Shoe…” He bit his lips and stared at her with one big annoying smirk on his lips.
He ran his fingers into his hair and he sighed.
” So… you finally stepped out of your room. Huh.”.
” Were you expecting me to stay indoors forever?” She asked and Liam chuckled silently.
” Well I’m glad to see your bright face again. I have no idea how I slept off last night. But I kept being worried about you.” He said, looking at her concerned.
” You should worry about yourself instead and not me!” She spat and tried to walk away but Liam obstructed her way.
She stopped and pouted an angry face at him.
” Can I have a little word with you please?” He asked and she folded her hands.
” I’ve told you. I don’t want to talk to you.” She yelled and tried to leave but he obstructed her again.
She kept trying to pass through him but he would come to block her way.
” Whatever you wanna talk, don’t keep me waiting.” She said and Liam breathed in softly.
” The thing is, You had a bad accident last night and almost died. Good thing is, you are still here with me. But You lost your memory and now I feel like this is a complete new you. I really missed the old May that I grew up to love…”
He stopped and took some whiff of breath. He saw that she was playing with the shoe spray, not focusing on what he was saying.
” May..”
” Huh?. What were you saying again?” She asked, blinking her eyes.
” I really want you to remember that you’ve always wanted us to be together. You agreed to restart everything we did in the past. I know I was wrong for treating you bad during my own times but this is the time I need you the most” He said.
She checked her wrist like there was a wristwatch there.
” Your time to speak with me us up. Can I go eat breakfast now?” She asked and Liam sighed, dropping his arms.
” We still haven’t discussed about our honeymoon.” He said
” Why are you so bent on taking me on a honeymoon!” She yelled and Liam curled his lip up.
” Cuz I paid lot of money for the trip. Sigh, But I’ll just cancel the trip anyways. Its never going to be worth it” Liam said sadly.
May stared at him and she looked away, feeling quite touched.
Well, she wasn’t at all interested in going out with him but her guilty conscience won’t let her ignore him this time.
” How many days for the trip?” She asked.
” Just two days.” He smiled.
” Okay fine.” She pouted. ” I’m not going for this trip because you want me to. I’ll just go because you paid so much for it ” She said and Liam finally smiled.
He grabbed her closer and hugged her warm body passionately, lifting her slightly from the ground.
” Thanks a lot baby. I love you so much” He said and May eye’s got very wide.
She quickly moved away from his grip.
” Ugh. Stop touching me!” She yelled. ” Rule number one, Stay 5 feet away from me. And rule two, stop calling me pet names!” She yelled and stumped away from him.
Liam watched her leave and he realised how her brown hair bounced around her shoulder.
” Such a stubborn cute little thing.” He grinned and a cute smile crept on his cheek.
Somehow, he knew he would cherish this new May than the old one. But it was up to him to make her realise what love is all about.

AIRPORT **.
It was exactly some minutes to eight that Liam’s driver rode into the airport.
They didn’t take much loads with them since it was just a two days trip.
Liam had decided to use this feign opportunity to make May get closer to him once again and make her remember some few things.
They got into the airport, walking in with their bags and keeping a distance like they didn’t know eachother.
Liam would try to step closer and try to talk to her but she would stylishly hop a feet away from him.
Their bags were out for screening and they moved to the boarding room.
” Flight to Hawai will be delayed for thirty more minutes.” They were informed and May started to grumble and hit her legs.
” This is one reason I hate travelling by a plane!. Now we’d have to spend thirty ugly minutes” She yelled and Liam tried to sit closer to her.
” I said five feet away.” She yelled and Liam sighed, returning back to his seat.
” Let’s order a snack while we wait?” He asked.
” No. I’m fine.” She grumbled, crossing her arm under her chest.
Liam said and threw his head backwards.
His phone rang. He picked it up and saw that it was Ms lily.
” Hello.” He said.
” Boss. There’s a big problem!” Ms lily gasped from the background and Liam creased his brows.
” Hey!” May interrupted him, dragging his shirt. ” I’m moving to the toilet. I’ll be back soon.” She said and left the seat.
She started to walk down the hallway and some group of men in suit and glasses were walking in opposite direction.
” Does she looks like boss son’s wife?” The man in suit asked showing the rest of his clown her picture.
” Yes she is ” They replied, nodding their heads uniformly.
” Go get her. She’s not leaving the country ” He said and the man nodded.
May was about to pull the door to the toilet when suddenly, she felt a sharp pain get into her system.
She was injected and her legs felt very weak that they dropped her to the ground instantly.
” Go get Her husband as well.” He ordered again.

RAY’S OFFICE
Ray was working in his office when sunny suddenly walked in.
” Hey dkhead. How’s work going?” She asked and Ray palmed his eyes.
” I’ve told you to stop entering my office anyhow. I need to finish printing and signing this papers” He said.
” I just came to search for trouble. I was very bored.” She said, taking a strand of his hair and twisting it.
” Please just leave my house. I promise to pay you some dollars if you do.” He said.
” Nop. I don’t need them.” She poked her tongue, palming the table. ” Why is May no longer coming to office. I’ve missed her.”
” Don’t ask me about her” He said and continued working on his computer.
” Did Emperor sack her?. I thought they were dating?” She asked as she took up his cup of coffee.
” May is married. I thought you knew that.” Ray said.
” Who says Married people can’t flaunt as well?” She asked and tried to sip the coffee but it came spilling on his files.
” Geez. Look at this mess!” Ray yelled, standing to his feet.
” Oh my God. I’m so sorry.” She apologised in fear. She knew with those looks on his face, she was totally done with.
” If you are sorry, dry this files and bring it back to me ,ASAP.” He told her and Sunny collected the files, staring at the mess.
She wondered if it was possible to dry up the files that had been stained by cocoa.
Suddenly, Emperor walked into his office in a panicking state, slamming back the door.
” My parents are back from abroad” He said sweating and moving sideways in the room.
” Really?. Omg!.” Sunny rejoiced.
” This is not something to be happy of. They can’t see me like this, I’m not even yet married or developed yet.” Emperor said.
” Cool down bro. Where are they now?” Ray asked, leaving his seat.
” I was just informed that they are in the country. You know they would surely come here to find me.” Emperor said and held his hair.
” I’m so doomed. This surprise visit is just klling me. I need to call Liam.” He said and realised that the dude had kept he’s on a busy mode.
He was still walking around when suddenly something crossed his mind.
The Game…the Deal!. Damn!.
” There is a problem.” Emperor said, facing the both of them. ” I finally realised why they came home.”
