FROM THE LAST SCENE, CHIEF MADU’S GARDEN
‘’your dad told me that you guys are preparing for neco examination’’
‘’yea exactly’’ jake replied
‘’so how far have you guys gone because Wednesday, the exam is starting with biology practicals’’
‘’yes, we are prepared and ready to trash it’’
‘’nice, lets start with biology practicals’’
‘’oh I don’t offer biology so I think I should leave’’ emeka said and made to left
‘’whatever,’’ Mr johnsky said and faced me ‘’give me the specimen ‘’ he said…
Mr johnsky had only thought me for about 80mins, he was of course a very good teacher. We had covered over six specimens out of the thirteen specimens when my dad’s car horned from outside and our gateman went to open the gate. He droved in and parked his vehicle in the parking space before he came to the garden as soon as he saw us…
‘’where is emeka, why isn’t he here’’ chief madu asked on getting to the garden.
‘’good evening sir, I think he is not offering biology’’ mr johnsky said
‘’yes dad, he is an engineering student’’ jake added
‘’evening johnsky , jake hope you are enjoying his teaching??’’ chief madu asked
‘’very well dad, he is good at teaching’’
‘’am glad to hear that, johnsky once you are done make sure you see me before living’’
‘’no problem sir’’
Twenty minutes later mr johnsky was true and went to see my father, they discussed for sometimes before he was served food. After eating he thanked my dad and left.. I read what he thought me later that night before retiring to bed. That night I had a very surprising dream where I was carrying chioma at my back and running about in a garden, immediately I woke up I just smiled and replayed the dream in my head before going to pray.
Time flew, and the day for the exams finally came. I was dressed in vicks academy uniform apapa and was set to leave. I hopped into the car and my dad’s driver drove off speedily, the journey took us about an hour due to hold up but we still arrived on time. I alighted and worked majestically into the school block where some students were all ready getting ready for the exams.
The exam kicked off and everyone was busy with their questions, looking and studying specimens in the laboratory. But I wasn’t concentrating as my eyes were just on two girls who were twins, they are really pretty and beautiful to the core, and with the look of things they look like half casts. My concentration on them was so obvious that an invigilator had to come ask me if I was ok and I concentrated on my books. Twenty minutes later after we had been assisted somehow the exams was over, I saw the both girls living so I followed them behind till they got to a canteen to buy something.
I patiently waited for them to buy all they needed and at the end the canteen attendance calculated their money to be one thousand six hundred naira which I instantly volunteered to pay and also get my self a pepsi drink..
‘’thank you so much, we really appreciate your generosity’’.
‘’oh don’t mention, am jake but you can call me big daddy’’
‘’oh hahahahaha big daddy’’ they both laughed
‘’[smiling] can I know your names pls’’
‘’she is kelly and am chelly’’ the one who looked a bit older said
‘’wow, you guys look very pretty’’
‘’same as you too, you are cute’’ chelly said
‘’yea’’ Kelly added
‘’thank you very much, oh my driver is already here I will be going now, see you guys later’’
‘’ok bye’’ ‘’bye dear’’ they both said.
‘’wow he even have a driver’’ said Kelly
‘’yea, he must be a big boy, I think am liking him’’ said chelly.
‘’hmm because he is rich right?? I like him too and we must not drag for him’’
‘’look at her silly girl, but he has a very funny nickname big daddy’’
‘’hahahahaha I thought also’’
‘’kelly lets go get our bags’’

Immediately jake got home, no one was at home including emeka. According to the maids, he followed jake mum to her work place. It wasn’t up to ten minutes jake came back, his lesson teacher mr johnsky arrived and he narrated to him how successful the exam went…..

‘’mtcheeew, abeg no tell me of girls again joor’’ emeka said placing his head on the pillow.
‘’guy wetin happen na’’
‘’this evening, jelade big yansh don tempt me tire so I decided to touch, if you see the slap she gave me hmmm I nearly deaf’’
‘’hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, emeka shebi I warn you, you no hear you deserve more slaps’’
‘’mtcheeew that girl no dey fear sef’’
‘’wo as I dey talk this girls fine die, no worry on Friday you see them na, they be like half cast’’
‘’hmmm make Friday reach make I go see wetin you dey talk’’
We waited in anticipation for Friday to come and finally it was Friday. We were having chemistry practicals and it was raining that day, immediately we finished I followed them again to the canteen and paid for all they bought while we sat in a comfortable place to eat.
EMEKA’S VIEW OF THE STORY========
I came out from the laboratory but couldn’t find jake, maybe he is outside I thought . I was already hungry and I sighted a canteen in the school to go eat, immediately I was done buying my snacks I saw jake with two girls by the corner so I went to meet them and I was very sure that must be the twins he was talking about but on getting to the table where they were I met the surprise of my life.
‘’jake wow you are here’’
‘’yea bro, meet the girls I told you about chelly and kelly’’
‘’Emeka!!!!!!!’’ chelly called out
‘’chelly!! Jesus this world is little’’
‘’emeka is this you??’’ she said and jumped on emeka
‘’emeka, !!!’’ Kelly also said standing up to hug emeka
‘’wait wait whats happening here, do you know each other’’ jake asked
‘’yea, jake this is my girlfriend then in js3 before she left enugu due to the nature of her dads job’’
‘’wow she also attended almond???’’ jake said with a tensed face
‘’yea, then I was even the class prefect’’ chelly said
‘’do you attend same school ??’’ Kelly asked
‘’yea, I finished from the school’’
‘’wow that’s a very nice school, hope mr okafor is still there’’ Kelly asked
‘’of course, he is still their, teaching chemistry’’ emeka said holding the both girls
‘’yea then he taught us basic science’’ chelly said
They kept on discussing but jake noticed they weren’t giving him attentions again, they were only interested in emeka even after emeka told them that he was my cousin and just came to Lagos for the neco exams. I thought they will give me more attention afterall I will take care of them financially than emeka who my father is still taking care off.
JAKE’S POINT =====
My dads driver later came to pick us but he didn’t see us in the school premises so he gave me a call
‘’emeka the driver is here, we should be going now’’
‘’oh that’s true, girls we would be living now’’
‘’ok why don’t we exchange numbers’’
‘’oh that’s true 09034******’’
‘’nice mine is 08161******’’ chelly said
‘’what about you kelly’’ emeka asked
‘’09069******’’
‘’wont you mind having my number’’ jake asked
‘’is that really necessary’’ Kelly asked
‘’oh don’t say that, big daddy give me your number’’
‘’08173******’’ jake said with a heavy heart
‘’ok girls by for now’’ emeka said
‘’wait emeka do you mind visit us tomorrow’’ chelly asked
‘’wow that will be really amazing’’
‘’sure, you know what just give me a call tonight and big daddy don’t forget to take care of my emeka he is really dear to me’’
‘’[jesus Christ see this girl oooo] jake said in his mind’’
As soon as we left the canteen I started walking very fast in anger while emeka went after me.
‘’jake , jake wait guy why you dey vex na, you no suppose vex na’’
Jake was walking too fast for emeka so emeka gave up and started walking slowly.
‘’idiot, the guy dey vex hahhahaha when chioma was falling for him, he was busy falling for another person hahahaha you no know how e dey pain, chelly too don do you….. mumu he want date my girl’’ emeka said smiling to himself……….

Being a guy who want to impress a girl, I had to board a taxi from their estate to the so called jimmy which wasn’t that far anyway. We got to jimmys and it was wow, a small place but very beautiful but I hated the fact that smokers and tout were all around. We located a table of four were we sat, monitored the place before placing an order.
I was still angry with what happened earlier, if I had known I wouldn’t have introduced emeka to the girls, but there is no way they wont still recognize him. Imagine that Kelly telling me if its necessary to have my number because of emeka what do I do now?.
I was still thinking on what to do to make those girls, chelly in particular to fall for me when something suddenly popped in my head , I remembered how I fought with emeka over anita and jane, and the later end was a disaster for me. I don’t want any more troubles again I said. Emeka came into the room with a plate of sliced orange while I frowned and laid on the bed…
‘’my guy you still dey vex???’’ emeka asked while jake didn’t reply him
‘’ok bro you know you cant blame the girls, ok what of you that did same to chioma, she was loving you while you were lusting after another person’’
‘’but you know that was on condition na’’ jake finally spoke up
‘’this is also a condition na, I know them before you, beside she was my girlfriend’’
‘’mtccheeew’’jake hissed
‘’but guy o have a plan for you’’ emeka said
‘what plan again hope it’s a profitable one and not a back fire’’
‘’bro you too dey fear, its not a backfire, now this is the plan. Am in lagos now and I really want to rock chelly so I think you should go after Kelly. I know Kelly verywell, just gain her attention and make her like you that’s all’’
Jake looked at emeka for about three minutes with an angry face
‘’why looking at me like that??’’
‘’must you always take the once I like, emeka I will murder you one day’’
‘’hahahaha lol, jake murder me??? Na dream abi lol see Kelly is good too’’
‘’hmmmm let me give her a try I pray my luck shines’’
‘’correct bro. it must shine. So you are following me to their house tomorrow’’
‘’yea, I will follow you but pls try assisting me’’
‘’you don’t have a problem bro’’ emeka said going out of the room with his empty plate

Saturday morning came swiftly, we had a family exercise, did some laundry and ate before everyone faced what they had for the day. Emeka and I had already prepared for our outing, suddenly mr johnsky showed up. Emeka suggested we should attend the lesson before going and I supported.
Luckily for us, not up to an hour he received an urgent call and left immediately and we were so happy. In a jiffy we arrived apapa, emeka made a call and we were directed to an estate. After lot of walking about we finally located their house…
‘’ding dong’’ emeka pressed the bell.
The door was opened by chelly and she quickly hugged emeka ‘’sorry for putting you through the stress of finding here;’’ she muttered
‘’oh its nothing, at least I had a better view of the estate’’ emeka said as we went inside.
‘’jake how are you???’’chelly asked as we sat on a sofa in their spacious sitting room.
‘’am cool, how are you doing??”’
‘’as you can see am great’’ she said heading to the kitchen.
In few minutes Kelly entered the sitting room with a weird smile
‘’hi’’ she said
‘’kelly how are you??’’ jake asked
‘’am fine emeka whatsup’’ she said looking straight to the tv
‘’am doing good dear’’ emeka replied
Chelly came out of the kitchen with some soft drinks and digestive biscuit for emeka and I. We thanked her before eating the food. As soon as we were through, the house was looking boring so emeka suggested we go out to a hotel or a place to have fun and I was happy with his plan because that is going to be a good place for me to talk to Kelly…

‘’yea so where do you have in mind to go??’’ jake asked

I asked the bartender if he has vodka and he said yes, so I ordered for two bottles and a bottle of mac dowel ….
‘’place your orders, all load on me’’ I said forming boss
‘’so what will you like to have again’’ the bartender asked
‘’cow tail’’ chelly said
‘’assorted pepper soup’’ Kelly ordered
‘’a plate of dried meat very dry one’’ emeka said
‘’don’t you need drinks or do you take vodka’’ jake asked
‘’yea lets manage the vodka I don’t think they will have champagne’’ chelly said while jake swallowed hard
The bartender brought there request and the merriment began. Emeka opened the first vodka and distributed it to the everyone cup while dey started drinking. Emeka was struggling with his dried meat coupled with vodka, chelly on the other hand with disintegrating the cow tail like a pro same as Kelly.
Jake wasn’t eating anything, he was only drinking from his cup as many things ran through his mind. He saw chelly feeding emeka, and emeka was also doing same so he didn’t hesitate to try his luck. He took his glass of vodka and tried feeding Kelly but she rejected and gave him the most weird look ever so he maintained and continue drinking.
The second bottle was popped by chelly, in a twinkle of an eyes she had consumed it to the half level. I watched her closely till I started seeing signs that she was drunk, suddenly she stood up and dragged emeka to the dance floor as the both of them started dancing. Immediately the dj saw them he changed the song to tonight by wizkid and r2bees while chelly rocked the song.
I smiled to myself, this is the right time to meet Kelly I said and moved from my seat to chelly’s seat which was beside Kelly’s seat…. I held her hand and looked straight into her eyes which was my major magic for girls…
‘’jake what do you want??’’ she asked withdrawing her hand.
‘’kelly I love you, I mean can you be my girlfriend’’
‘’hahahahahahaha you are very stupid, don’t waste your time I can’t date you’’ she said and stood up going to meet a guy on dread some distance from us.
‘’do you mind dancing with me???’’ Kelly asked the guy who quickly nodded his head.
‘’yes I mind cmon baby’’ he stood holding Kelly by the waist.
‘’oh my God is this really happening’’ jake asked looking at both of them as they got to the dance floor and the guy started rocking her a$s while Kelly smiled to jake…
I was really heartbroken and bitter seeing a guy from no where enjoying the girl I loved so much. I wanted to act but remembered what happened at fandrozz. Immediately I felt the pain chioma felt when I was pally around with anita….
‘’God help me’’ I muttered stood up and left the place.

‘’Hmmmm Jane like seriously Jake hasn’t come to visit me, or even called me since he left’’ Anita said to Jane.
‘’oh you still expect him to call you, you must be a fool’’ jane said bubbling her chewing gum to the air.
‘’what are you insinuating??’’ anita asked in anger.
‘’sis just forget about Jake, he cant be yours or I don’t think he is yours again’’ jane said.
‘’then who because I am ready to bring down the person, jake is mine and mine forever’’ anita shouted in anger despite the bandage in her hand.
