Jr,Joan would have loved to see you smiling so brightly in your bed. Emily said almost sobbing.
I miss Joan alot if she was here she would be so happy to know Jr came in to this world giving everyone a bright smile on their faces. I said crying but Emily wiped the tears off.
Enough of the crying already, won’t you guys just sacrifice this moment for Jr. Pempem said.
Of course we’ll. I said smiling.
Wait a minute, where’s daddy and Glenda? Emily asked.
Oh yeah I called Glenda she said she’s in a conference meeting but she was so happy to hear the good news. I said smiling.
I called Mr Santos but he said he can’t make it today. Mum said.
Too bad. Emily said in a low tone.
You don’t have to feel bad about it. I said as I laid my hand around her shoulder.

I was sitting on the couch watching news and eating popcorn when I heard something about Jeffrey.
Joan, Jeff is on TV. I shouted and she ran to the sitting room.
BREAKING NEWS
“Mr Jeffrey Remirez is donating free food, free clothes and free education to the less privilege. He’s using this opportunity to welcome a new member of his family Jeffrey Remirez Junior into the world”
Sir Jeffrey do you have anything to say? The news caster asked giving the mic to Jeff.
Welcome to the world Jr. Joan anywhere you’re please come back home because Jr is waiting for you. I’m also waiting for you. Jeffrey said as tears escaped his eyes but he wiped it off.
Jr. Joan said sobbing as she hugged me
Iris what have we done to deserve this. At times am happy we’re safe but am not happy because we’re not with our family. I can’t wait to see our nephew, Iris. Joan added still crying.

When we got home the next day, everywhere was decorated so beautifully.
Welcome to the world Jr was written on our door.
Nice one Jeff. I said as I opened the door.
Pempem are you sure this is our house. Pamela said as we came inside the house.
I don’t think so. Emily replied looking around.
Wow the design is looking fabulous. Jeffrey said smiling.
But you did it Jeff. I said smiling.
Huh!no I didn’t. He said looking at me.
Then who did it?I asked looking around.
Congratulations to the both of you. Mr Santos said as he came out from the kitchen with Glenda.
Daddy. Emily shouted as she ran to hug him.

How are you my daughter?I asked patting her back.
I’m fine daddy. Emily said.
Congrats sis. Glenda said as she turned to hug Emily.

Jeff won’t you at least give me a hug. I said as I spread his arms wide open.
Of course I will dad. He said and hugged me.
Congrats Jeff. Glenda said.

Where’s Jr ?I asked looking around.
Here you go. Pamela said laying Jr in my arms.
Oh so cute, Glenda get me that little box. I said and Glenda gave me the box.
This is for jr. I said handing the box to Emily and she opened it.
Wow,it’s beautiful daddy but why two bracelet? Emily asked curiously.

His gonna put on one now while the other with a bold alphabet Jr written on it, he’s gonna put it on when he grows up. Daddy said smiling.
Thank you dad. Jeffrey and I chorused.
Glenda am not gonna talk to you. I said putting on a fake frown.
I’m sorry Emily,I was so busy at the office and that conference was very important for uncle so I couldn’t just cut the meeting half way. I’m sorry. Glenda pleaded.
But why didn’t you explain it this way to Jeff? I asked still putting on a fake frown.
I was in the meeting when he called I couldn’t explain better,am sorry. Glenda said as she tickled me.
Hahahaha,stop it Glenda. I said laughing as I ran away but she followed me.

I heard a bell on the door then I went to get the door.
Hi inspector. I said.
Good day ma’am. Is Mr Remirez at home?he asked.
Yes he’s. Please come in. I said as I lead them into the sitting room.
Jeffrey. I called.
Yes Pempem. Jeffrey replied from upstairs.
The police are here to see you. I said.
Ok,am coming. Jeff said as he came downstairs.
Good day inspector. Jeffrey said as he sat on the couch.
Good day Jeffrey. Congratulations. He said.
Thank you inspector. Jeffrey replied.
Jeffrey are you still going with us to rescue your sisters,we don’t mind you can still sit at home with your wife and baby. Inspector said.
Is it two days already. I said in surprise.

Inspector am coming with you. I said.
But Jeff what about Jr? pempem asked.
You all are here to take care of Jr but nobody is there to take care of iris and joan. I said seriously .
Fine Mr Remirez we’re moving to the forest now, all my men are ready so you should come with us. Inspector added.
I should go change my clothes. I said and went upstairs when I got to my room I couldn’t find Emily there I thought maybe she’s in mum’s room so I changed my clothes and came downstairs .
Pempem tell Emily I have gone with the police. I said as I went out entered my car and followed the police .
When we got to the forest I came down from my car same with the police.
Mr Jeffrey you can’t come along with us its risky in there. Inspector said as I heard Emily calling my name I turned around to my surprise it Emily.
Emily what are you doing here?I asked in surprise.

EMILY POV
When I heard pempem calling Jeffrey to come downstairs that the police were looking for him I quickly rushed downstairs from the back door to Jeffrey’s car because I knew Jeff will refuse to stay home so I entered his car boot.
There’s no way you’re leaving without me,I want to stay beside you no matter the situation. I said holding his hand.
But Emily it’s too risky here,what about Jr? Jeffrey asked.
Jr is fine,mum and pempem will take care of him. I said still holding his hand.
But inspector I want to go with you guys to look for my sisters. Jeffrey said.
We can’t take such risk Mr Remirez. inspector said as they went into the forest.
I can’t just stay here and do nothing when my sisters are been imprisoned. Jeffrey said seriously .
But Jeff it’s risky in there. I said confused.
*** JEFFREY ***
I’m going in there alone,you will stay out here. I said defiantly.
No Jeff I have come this far I have got nothing to lose so am coming with you. Emily said as she grabbed my hand tight and ran into the forest while running we heard some noise then we followed the direction of where the noise was coming from, we saw two guys one of them is the guy who kidnapped Joan and Iris. Emily and I walked slowly behind the big tree they were sitting but Emily fell on the ground and it made them alert.
Emily you have to wait for me here,I need to go into that wooden building maybe Joan and Iris is in there. I said in a low tone.
I love you Jeffrey. Emily said as she kissed me.
I love you too,take care. I said and walked quietly behind the wooden building, I was about to get in when I heard Emily scream.
