Huh! how? Emelia asked curiously.
Yeah am also surprised like you all because I just found out today. Logan said .
Mum please the suspense is getting too much ,say something. Joan said almost sobbing.
You should free Pamela from all your questions because am here so I will tell you guys how it all happened. When we were all living in the prophines, Emelia and I had scholarship to study at the states so we both travelled to the states without knowing that Pamela was pregnant after five years of studying in the states we came back to the prophines. When we came back we saw a child’s clothes around, we asked Pamela who it was for and she said it’s our son’s , I never set my eyes on Jeffrey because he was living with pempem.
Later that day Pamela was going through the photos Emelia and I took in the states when Emelia’s marriage certificate with me fell down from the album, on seeing this Pamela cried out her soul feeling so betrayed and cheated on. I came into the room and Pamela slapped me without telling me the reason why then she blunted it out that Jeffrey is not my son but Simon, on hearing this my heart ripped out of my chest,I felt so betrayed. Logan narrated.
But daddy you betrayed mum , getting married to mummy is a betrayal to mum. Iris said feeling disappointed.
No sweetie, I never betrayed Pamela. when we got to the states a wealthy man adopted Emelia and she was given a green card. Emelia’s half dad said the only way for me to have a green card is to get married to Emelia. I refused but we both said the marriage will be a sham. Logan added.
All this years I thought Emelia was your wife but it was all a sham but you didn’t explain this to me Emelia. Pamela said with tears dropping down her cheeks.

I tried to explain it to you the day we met again but you told me you understood everything. I said almost sobbing.
But mum how come you told Simon Jeffrey is his son and he accepted? Joan asked confused.
The day Logan and Emelia travelled Simon visited me but I gave him no attention so he forced himself on me. Pamela said sobbing.
What?Logan and I screamed.
It’s so unfortunate that man , that monster is our father. iris cried.
No he’s not your father. Pamela said still sobbing.
Huh. joan said in surprise.
Logan is your father. When I told Logan, Jeffrey wasn’t his son , he went out and came back home drunk,he rapped me that same night that’s why I ran away the next day. Pamela said looking at Logan.
*** JOANNA ***
Daddy you too. Iris screamed looking at sir Logan.
I’m sorry Pamela, I never meant to, I wasn’t in my right state of mind, I was in a drunken state, am so sorry. sir Logan pleaded sobbing.
Hello inspector. Mum said over the phone.
What, ok. Mum added and hung up.
What happened Pamela? Aunt Emelia asked curiously.
One of the kidnapper the police arrested is dead. mum said.
But how, what happened, he’s the only guy who would tell us who the culprit is. Aunt Emelia said.
Excuse me guys. sir Logan said and left.
I think I should check on Emily. I said and went into Emily’s room and sat beside her placing her palms into mine.
Emily am happy, am sad and I need you to open your eyes for me because Jeffrey needs you right now, he needs you to stay beside him always because without you he’s incomplete. I muttered crying as my tears dropped in Emily’s palm.

After mum went back home, joan ran out of Emily’s room smiling and crying.
Nurse, nurse. joan screamed as the nurses ran into Emily’s room.
Joan what happened? I asked curiously.
Emily just moved her fingers and suddenly opened her eyes. Joan said smiling as the doc came into Emily’s room.
She’s out of danger this is a miracle. doc said after checking on Emily just then a nurse rushed in.
Sir the patient In room 004 is having difficulties his fingers but I think he’s in danger. The nurse said.
Mr Jeffrey Remirez just moved his fingers? doc asked curiously.
Yes sir. The nurse replied.
Let’s go. doctor said and they left.
*** LOGAN ***
When I came out from the hospital, I went straight to Stella’s house. I got there and found Stella in their garden having a glass of wine.
Stella why do you have to always interfere with the police work. I yelled.
What do you mean Logan? she asked
Why did you kill the suspect? I asked frustratedly.
I have to delete him because am far from over in destroying joan and her family. she said angrily.
You had something to do with pempem ‘ s accident right? I asked
Yes, that family is just a pain in the ass. Stella said.
Stella this game is over so stop it already. I said.
Never. Stella barked.
Fine then you left me with no choice. I said sent an sms to Stephen and Aaron through my phone
