“You were so good ealier, I didn’t know you have such an amazing voice” Paige said and Carding smiles.
“Thanks Miss, it’s feels so good to do what I really want” Carding said.
“Your always welcome…..” Paige stops halfway and gasps.
“What’s wrong?” Carding asked.
“What’s the time?” She asked and Carding checks his wrist watch.
“8PM…. Why”
“My Mom will be so worried about me, I arrived in Chicago at 1PM, telling her I’ll be home before she knows it, and is already 8PM and am still not at home… Where’s my luggage? Where did I keep it? I left it in your Dad’s company, Can we go get it?” Paige said rushly.
“Sure… Miss”.

Both arrived in the company with a cab and thankfully her luggage was still there.
“Are you sure you can go home alone? I can drop you off in my car” Carding said.
“Is fine, I can go home on my own, it was nice meeting you” Paige said and took to her heels.
“Wait Miss I…. I didn’t even get a chance to know her name” Carding mutttered and sighs.
“Carding” Someone called his name and Carding turns to see his Dad’s driver.
“Philip”
“Where have you been Carding?” Philip asked.
“I was just around the corner” He answers.
“Where’s your phone? Your Mom called a million times”.
“I left it in my backpack, is she that worried?” Carding asked worriedly.
“Yes but your Dad is even more angry at you…. He wants you home” Philip said and fear gripped Carding immediately.

THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***
“Should we inform the police about this” Helena asked worriedly.
“Is not up to 24 hours, nothing will be done about it if we report it to the police….
They can only take action only when it has to do with those from higher class, not poor breeds like us” Greg said and continues galvanizing his Janitor’s uniform, getting ready for tomorrow’s work.
“But where could she have wander off to?” Helena asked worriedly.
“Have you forgotten she’s Paige, her legs doesn’t stay in one place, I won’t be surprised if she made someone’s problem her headache” Grey said.
“Am going out to look for her” Helena said and just as she opened the door, she sees Paige making an attempt to knock on the door.
“Paige!!!” Helena exclaims.
“Long time no see mom” Paige said with a smile, but Helena h!ts her instead.
“Ouch, Mom!”
“Do you want to kll me? I thought something bad happened to you”.
“I’m Paige, nothing bad can happen to me, Can I entered the house my feet is hurting from trekking all the way here?”
“Why didn’t you enter a cab?” Helena asked.
“Cuz is too expensive, I rather trek still am numb than enter a cab worth 50 dollars” Paige said.
“Anyway I missed you so much” Helena said hugging her.
“Me too Mom” Paige said smiling.
“I’m being forgotten?” Greg asked.
“Greg!!!” She exclaims excitedly rushing to him, they did the hand shaking thing before hugging each other.
“Your all grown up now Paige” Grey said, and Paige giggles.
“I was at the company where you work cos I wanted to see you, but that grumpy man won’t let me in” Paige said.
“I’m working in one of the biggest companies in Chicago Paige, random people aren’t allowed there, and to top it all, am just a Janitor there” Greg said.
“But still they shouldn’t treat people that way… But leave that aside, am so happy to see the both of you again, whose in for Paige!!!!” Paige screams loudly.
“Do you want the neighbors to come after you?” Helena asked.
“They’d better get used to it cos anywhere Paige is, noise follows…. Whose the ¢raziest of them all? Paige is the ¢raziest of them all!!!” She screams loudly.
“Can you keep your voice down?” A neighbor said.
“You better get used to it, cos Paige is back!!!!” She screams.
“Someone is trying to read, Keep your voice down” Another neighbor said.
“Then you’d better go to the library and build a castle in there, cos am the synonyms of noise… Whose the craziest of them all? Paige is the craziest of them all whoahhh!!!” She screams loudly.
“I have no doubt that we’re going to be sent packing every soon” Greg said.
“I know right” Helena said.
“Hello everyone, Nations, universe, Neighbors, Crazy Paige is back!!!!” She screams.

THE WENDELL’S MANSION***
Carding sighs for the umpteenth times before entering the house and he met his Dad in the living room.
Fear boiled in his bIood just by looking at him. Ever since he was a kid, he has always been trying his best to please the mo.nster he calls Dad, but no matter how hard he tried, it was always pointless in his Dad’s eyes.
“D….Dad” He manage to talk, and Vince glared at him and the way he looked at him sends more fear to him.
Vince stood up from the couch and walks to him.
“Where have you been?” He asked.
And Carding crimps his fingers looking scared.
“Are you a book now? You can’t speak anymore, Where have you been!!!” He yells.
And Odessa who was in her room, heared his voice and quickly came downstairs.
“Carding” She muttered.
“I ask for the last time Carding, where have you been?!!!”
“I… I was with a friend” He stuttered.
“A friend?” Vince asked and threw a pvnch on his face, Carding falls to the floor.
“Carding!” Odessa calls him.
“You couldn’t even do a proper presentation at the company ealier, and you still had the nerve to hang out with a friend”.
“I’m sorry Dad” Carding apologize, but Vince pvnch him again.
“If you were going to be of bad luck to me, then you shouldn’t have been born, I wish I had gotten rid of you, when your mom became pregnant through wedlock!!!” Vince yells.
“I wish you had just gotten rid of me when I wasn’t yet born, maybe I won’t have to suffer like this” Carding said as tears keeps falling down his eyes.
“Maybe I should just get rid of you now, is better not to have any son, than have a useless son, born from wedlock” Vince said taking off his leather beIt.
And without thinking twice, he began Ia.shing the be.lt on Carding.
Carding groans in p.ains.
“Vince please stop, Your hvrting him… Carding!!!” Odessa screams crying.
