(DENIED AND HUMILIATED)
MILLENNIUM PARK***
“Whoaaa we’re finally here!!” Rose screams out excitedly. Dylan had to cover his ear, so her screams won’t affect his eardrums.
“It just as beautiful like it was in the picture” Rose said joining her arms together smiling.
Dylan looks at her and chuckles.
“There’s nothing so special about this place, so what’s the excitement for?”.
“You have been in Chicago all your life so you won’t value what your country has, is part of life anyways. I experienced that while living in Switzerland. Nothing seems to exist me there, but here in Chicago everything is just so soothing” Rose said and screams loudly.
“You sure know how to make someone go deaf” Dylan said and Rose giggles, handling her phone to Dylan.
“Why’re you giving me your phone? I don’t give out my number like that”.
“I’m not asking for your phone number dummy” Rose said.
“Then why’re you giving it to me?” Dylan asked.
She place her phone in his hand and quickly went to a statue.
“I want you to take a picture of me” Rose said crossing her foot against the other and Dylan just look at her.
“What are you waiting for Dylan, snap me before I fall” Rose said.
Dylan sighs before snapping her.
“One more” She said making her ass face him.
“Really?”
“Is a trending pose Dylan” she said smiling cutely.
Dylan admires how cute she was from her phone screen before snapping her.
“I look so cute in this pictures, your a good photographer. Let’s take a selfie together” Rose said smiling.
“I don’t take pictures”.
“Then what’s the point of having a handsome face?” She asked and Dylan looks at her.
“Your my very first friend here in Chicago, so we should take a selfie together”
“And who told you I want to be your friend?”
“I don’t need your opinion, I already made you my friend” Rose said cutely. Dylan chuckles.
“Since you just chuckled, let’s talk a picture together” Rose said.
She tried wrapping her hand around Dylan, but she couldn’t.
“Can you bend down a little” Rose said.
Dylan sighs. He took the phone from her, pulls her closer and clicks the shutter.
“Happy now” Dylan said giving her back her phone, Rose giggles.
“My very first friend in Chicago, he’s supper handsome right? His dimples are dope” Rose said out loudly as she write the caption, before posting it on her insta account.
Dylan looks at her and smiles.

BACK IN THE HOSPITAL***
“Your jocking, right? You clearly don’t mean what you just said, right?” Carding asked as his eyes became wet.
“I’m not joking son, I want to go back to your Dad”.
“But why mom? Why do you want to go back to that mo.nster?”
“Because I love him”
“Because you love him? Have you forgotten what that mo.nster did to you. You fell into coma because of him!!!!”
“He was just angry son”
“Don’t defend him mom!!! That man didn’t even feel remorseful for what he did. He didn’t even stop me from leaving the house. He care less about us and your saying your going back to him, what kind of a mother are you mom!!!” Carding yells at her angrily.
He wasn’t the type to raise his voice at his mom, but he’s forced to, because of what his mom said.
“Please Carding try to understand me” Odessa said.
“I’ve been trying so hard to mom. But I can’t understand you anymore, I just can’t understand you”.
“We have come to far to be seperated from your dad. I want to go back to him Carding”.
Carding runs his head through his hair as tears falls down his eyes. He was extremely hurt right now. All he ever had in mind is that, if his mom wakes up, she’s going to detest Vince and choose to start a new, but seems like what he expected didn’t work out.
“Carding” Odessa said trying to touch him, but Carding jerks her hand off.
“Son….”
“Don’t call me that!! If you see me as your son, you won’t be acting this way. Where is your brain? Did you by chance leave it behind when waking from coma!!”.
“No I didn’t son, I just want to go back to be with your dad, this time he’s going to love me”.
“Sorry to say this mom, but you’re very stupid”.
“Carding” Odessa muttered surprisingly.
“You want to go back to that monster, then go ahead, go back to his house I don’t care. But one thing is for sure, I’m not going back to that house with you. And if he ends up klling you, don’t expect me to bury you”.
“Carding” She calls him, but Carding angrily leaves the ward.
“Why can’t he understand that I love Vince. I did a lot of things just to be with him, I can’t lose him. I love Vince, I love him so much” Odessa said releasing tears from her eyes.

THE CROMWELL’S MANSION***
Dylan smiles as he enters the house, thinking about Rose.
“She’s so cute. Her cuteness made me forget my problems for a while” He muttered smiling.
“Finally Dylan you’re back. I was so worried about you. Where did you wander off to?” She asked worriedly.
“Sorry I made you worry Mila, I just wanted to clear my head off” Dylan said.
“Are you all right now?”
“Yes I’m fine. I’m absolutely fine” Dylan said smiling.
“Did something happen? Your so different from the boy who left the house in the afternoon with a crying face”.
Dylan smiles and falls to the couch.
“I met someone interesting today” Dylan said smiling, and Milia quickly sits beside him.
“Really? Who is she?”
“How did you know is a she?”
“Because a guy won’t make you smile the way your smiling right now. Or are you by chance a gay”.
“God forbid. Never Milia”.
“Then who is she?” Milia asked, Dylan looks at her and smiles.
“Actually her name is Rose”
“Wow, her name is beautiful. Is she pretty?”
“Pretty is an understatement. She’s more than pretty. Her behavior is intriguing. She’s so beautiful Milia, with a top notch of extremely cuteness”.
“All this quote for just one person. Don’t tell me you love her already”
“Yes I do” Dylan answers sharply. Milia choked even if she wasn’t drinking anything.
“Really? That fast?”
“She’s just to hard to resist. Thinking about how cute she is, is making me go nut”.
“Easy with the feeling kid, remember you still have a brain problem which we haven’t figured out why, yet”.
“My brain got nothing to do with my heart, so I’ll be fine”.
“And what if she doesn’t love you back?” Mila asked resting on the headrest of the couch.
“Then I’ll make her fall in love with me. I already added her on web chat, which means we can always message each other”.
“Have you forgotten your engaged to Barney? Your parents are really determined in making sure you and Barney end up together” Mila said.
“I’m going to called off the engagement”.
“And how are you going to do that Dylan”.
“Just watch and see” Dylan said and smiles, showing off his deep cute dimples.

THE WILSON’S MANSION***
Rose enters the house and Mrs. Wilson approach her.
“Where the hell have you been Rose? You stopped me from picking you up at the airport, and told me to send a car instead. I did exactly what you said, but you never came back still now. Did you know how worried I was”.
“I’m sorry Mom. I only wanted to take a tour around Chicago and see its millennium park” Rose said.
“Roselle you aren’t allowed to stress yourself. Have you forgotten about your weak Heart?”
“Your the one who is forgetting something mom. My 12th heart surgery was a success, which means I’m okay now and I’m strong like a horse. I can do whatever I want now” Rose said.
And Mrs. Wilson sighs.
“Your heart surgeries weren’t always successful, I guess I got used to it, thinking you might fell sick again”.
Rose smiles and wraps her hand around her mom shoulder.
“Thanks for always worrying about me”
“And why shouldn’t I? I’m your mom” Mrs Wilson said.
“I just want to thank you mom, despite being adopted, I gave you lots of problems, by having a weak heart, but you never gave up on me and still worry about me a lot”.
Mrs. Wilson smiles and caress her face.
“Stop remembering the fact that you’re adopted, I didn’t tell you the truth for you to be grateful that we took you in after you were born. After I lost my own daughter, you brought light into my sad life Rose, and I’m grateful for that”.
Rose Smiles.
“I love you so much Roselle”
“I love you too mum” Rose said smiling.
“I prepared your favorite, let’s eat together” Mrs. Wilson said taking Rose’s hand.
They both sat down and began to eat, Rose moans enjoying the sweet taste from the food.
“As always mom, your food is always the Best” Rose said giving her mom a high thumbs up and Mrs. Wilson smiles.
“That reminds me, your Dad will be coming back to Chicago” Mrs. Wilson said, and Rose’s cutleries unknowingly fall from her.
“Are you all right Rose?”
“Yes I’m. But why is Dad coming back to Chicago, I thought he will be in Washington DC for his business”.
“Yes, but he said he has something to do here. He even asked after you”
“Really? Dad asked after me? That’s new” Rose said.
“Roselle”.
“You and I know dad kind of hate me, I don’t know if is because I was adopted, or if is because I made him spend a lot of money treating me, despite not being his bIood”.
Mrs. Wilson caress her face.
“Your Dad loves you Rose. We might have spent a lot of money treating you, but we’re still rich. Your dad loves you very much okay”.
Rose only nods and continues eating. Mrs. Wilson looks at her and sighs.
