CHAPTER 57
THE CASTILLO’S HOUSE***
“Greg have you seen Carding” Paige asked.
“No I haven’t. Is he not in the room?” Greg asked eating.
“I checked, but he’s not there” Paige said.
“Did he tell where he was going?” Edward asked.
“If he did, I won’t be asking about his whereabout” Paige said.
“Maybe he visited his Mom. She is still in coma, right?” Helena asked.
“But it already surpass the visiting hours at the hospital” Paige said looking at the wall clock.
“Maybe he just drop by his friend’s place. Don’t worry too much Paige” Greg said.
“This won’t do. If he’s really in the hospital, then I have verify it. I’ll be back” Paige said and dashed out from the house, before her family could stop her.
“She hasn’t even eaten anything. Carding is really making my daughter worry about him” Helena said.
Edward looks at Helena, and felt guilty.
*The truth about Paige’s real identity, should never be discovered Cuz is really going to break you* Edward said inwardly and caress Helena’s hair.
“What’s wrong Edward?” Helena asked, Edward shakes his head smiling.

“Visiting hours are over. No one can enter the hospital except for those who were inside before” The security man said.
“I know, I’m not saying I want to go in, I just want to check if Carding is inside” Paige said.
“Who is Carding?”
“He’s my boyfriend. His mom was hospitalized here, I just want to know if he’s inside, so I can be at ease”.
“Alright, just a second” The security man said. He puts the consultant department on call.
“What is his Mom name?” The security man asked Paige while talking to one of the nurses.
“Odessa. Odessa Wendell” Paige said.
The security man inquire from the nurse and ends the call when he was done.
“He’s not here Miss. According to one of the nurses, he left hours ago” The security man said.
Paige nods her head and leaves the hospital premises, looking for Carding.
“Where did he go” She muffled worriedly.
Her mind drift to the public playground and without hesitating, she went there and sees Carding sitting alone in the swing. His eyes tells he has been crying.
Paige sits beside him and Carding looks at her.
“Did you know how worried I was? You should’ve called”
“Sorry I made you worry about me” He said with a sad voice.
“What happened Carding? Why did the long face?” Paige asked.
“My mom already wake up”
“Really? Then you should be happy, why’re you soaking yourself in tears”.
“I would have preferred it if she’d stay in coma a little longer, maybe I won’t have been this hurt”.
“What happened Carding?”
“She wants to come back to my Dad”
“What!” Paige exclaims surprisingly.
“Guess your shocked too, right? I didn’t see this coming, I never expect that after what my Dad did, she will still want to go back to him.
All my life I have always tried my best to understand her, but I can’t do it anymore Paige and it breaks my heart so much” Carding said allowing his tears to fall down his eyes.
“Shhhh, stop crying ok” Paige said cleaning his tears.
“I can’t help it Paige. I took up a part time job, just so I could get her a house to live in when she wakes up, but she made all sacrifice to go to waste. She claims she loves me, but I doubt if she does, she only cares about that monster, I feel like I’m alone in this world” Carding said crying.
“Then what am I to you?”
Carding looks at her with wetty eyes.
“You’re my girlfriend who I love so much” Carding answers.
“Then why’re you saying your alone in this world when I’m here for you”.
Carding looks at her as more tears falls down his eyes, Paige cupped his face, caressing it softly.
“You’re not alone in this world Carding, a lot of people love you. You have your best friends, who cherish you alot, my family who treats like a son, and me too who loves you so much. So how can you say your alone in this world, when you have us?”.
Carding looks at her and smiles, holding her hand.
“I love you Paige”
“If you love me, then stop crying” Paige said and Carding wiped his tears and hugs Paige
“Thanks you so much Paige” He said still hugging her.
“Your welcome Mr. Cry baby”
Carding smiles, tightening the hug.
“Let’s talk to your mom tomorrow again, ok?” Paige said.
Carding nods his head. He placed soft ksses on her lips, before hugging her again.
“I love you so much, you somehow brought happiness into my sad life, and I’m so grateful I met you” Carding said and kss her hair, Paige smiles happily.

THE NEXT DAY=FASHION SHOW***
Nadia sighs looking at the stage that is being decorated for the runway show and sighs
“You can do this Nadia, you’ll be able to do it” Nadia said trying to assure herself.
Someone taps her from behind and she turns to look at him.
“Bryan, what’re you doing here?”
“I came to see you Nadia” Bryan answers.
“But how were you able to corner your way in?”.
“I pretended to be a delivery guy. Here drink this, it’s going to calm your nervousness” Bryan said giving her a lemon Demi soda.
Nadia smiles before taking it from him, gulping it down her throat.
“Are you all right?”
“I feel more relaxed than before. Thank you Bryan” Nadia said. Bryan smiles and caress her hair.
“Is nothing Bunny. What about your twin?”
“You mean Nadine? She is the dressing room. participating in the runway show might help her get her career back”.
Bryan smiles caressing her cheek.
“Nadia” Mrs McDonald calls and Nadia quickly slaps Bryan so hard on the check on seeing her Mom.
“How dare you try to harass me!!!” Nadia yells at him, alerting everyone who were so forcus on the decorations.
“Who’s he Nadia?”
“I don’t know him mom, he approach me all of a sudden and tried to harass me” Nadia said
“Na….”
Mrs McDonald sI.aps Bryan so hard on the face before he could uttered a word.
“You got some nerves trying to harass my daughter. How dare you used those filthy hands of yours to touch my daughter!!!” Mrs McDonald yells at Bryan and slaps him so hard again.
Bryan fell and the huge cake on cake stand, fell on him. Everyone began taking pictures of him, calling names.
