CHAPTER 70B

Melanie didn’t reply as her eyes was fixed on his chest. Slowly, her hands started moving against her own accord, rubbing his chest slowly.

“What are you doing?” Axel asked.

“Huh?”

As if being burned with a hot object, Melanie quickly moved out of his hold and turned to the door.

Having forgotten that the door was locked, she rushed to it and her head met with the door hardly.

“Ahh!!!” She staggered and fell right on the bad boy’s chest.

His hand was around her waist, holding her protectively.

“Are you okay?” He asked in a voice which sounded melodious to her ears.

“I’m…. I’m fine” she stuttered, moving out of his hold.

She stared up at him and quickly averted her gaze, clearing her throat awkwardly.

“I think… I should go,, yea” she laughed.

‘Gawd, what am I doing?” She questioned herself inwardly.

Axel watched her, his lips curved up in a low smile and he poke her forehead gently.

“Ahh!” Melanie glared at him, rubbing her forehead with a pout.

“Stop being cute and go to your room” he chuckled.

Just by seeing him smiling, a smile left her lips too.

“Are you okay? Has your Dad called?” She asked.

Axel’s countenance changed and his gaze hardened. He quickly looked away.

“You shouldn’t worry” he muttered and went to him room immediately.

“Is he fine?” Melanie wondered. It was now clear to her that she was beginning to care for him than before.

Axel entered his room and stared at his phone. He reread the message his Father sent to him a while ago and he scoffed.

“Freezing my account won’t make me get married to that bìtch” he said to himself.

“So low” he shook his head and wore a shirt.

THE NEXT DAY~MONASH UNIVERSITY***

Melanie didn’t failed to notice the weird stares on her as she made her way to the school.

This wasn’t a stare of admiration, rather it was a stare of disgust.

Melanie stopped on her tracks immediately she heard that. She turned to the girl who uttered the last word and began walking towards her.

“Who do you think you are?” The one who hit Melanie said angrily.

On hearing that, a sob wrenched out of Melanie’s throat and big tears started rolling down her cheeks.

“Stop! Stop!” She screamed, crying hard.

“Go away, you sI.ut! Your life is gonna be a living h’ll in this school, trust me” A girl pushed her away.

Expecting to fall on the harsh ground, rather she fell on a hard chest…. The chest she would recognized anywhere she is.

His hand was around her waist protectively and the familiar cologne of his, hit her nose immediately.

“Axel,” she whispered, sniffing her tears in.

“Touch a strand of my girlfriend’s hair and then face my wrath” Axel said in a cold voice, staring at the girls with nothing but anger in his eyes.

The girls gasped immediately. Did he just said girlfriend?
