CHAPTER 2
After searching the room and they couldn’t find her, they started chasing her…
That was how she got to this long chase.
“Hahh!” She gasped when she noticed she had come to the end of the road.
Standing three feet away was a deep cliff. Her eyes widened and her lips trembled in great fear.
She turned to see Evie and Theo who have gotten to her, just few steps away.
“Haha… Gotcha. Now hand over the baby.” Evie said and she shook her head, walking back.
“I know you’re stupid but are you blind as well. There’s a cliff behind you. Hand me the baby.” Evie said but Madison shook her head.
“No!… I’ll rather díe than give you my baby.” She said, as tear rolled freely down her cheeks.
“Madi, step forward. You’ll fall off that cliff. Please!” Theo begged, slowly walked towards her and she chuckled sadly.
“Why do you care when you’re still gonna kll me to get him. Theo how could you do this to me! I loved you, but you betrayed me.
You betrayed my love. You only married me to get a child from me isn’t it?” She shouted in tears and Theo just kept mute.
Evie chuckled.
“I see you heard everything. Now let me have the child.” Evie said, walking towards her.
“No! Don’t take any step forward or I’ll jump of it!” She threatened.
“Give me the baby!”
“I say that come forwa- Ahh!” She screamed as she was about falling but Evie rushed to her to grab her hand.
Theo also ran to them, he held her (Madison) arm while Evie took the baby from Madison, while Theo held her firmly.
If he just let go off her, she’ll be falling into that deep cliff.
“Finally got him.” Evie said, caressing Alex’s face – Alex was the name of the baby.
“Hold on Madison.” Theo said and tried dragging her up, that was when Evie returned her gaze to them.
“What are you doing?” She asked and Theo raised his brows.
“What does it seem like?” He asked and Evie hissed before kicking his hand off and Madison’s hand slipped out of his.
“No!!! Madiii!!!!” He screamed as she went down.
“Ahhhh!!!”

“Ahhh!!”
She sprang up from her bed with a scream, breathing heavily. Sweat formed beads on her forehead and her heart thumped loudly in her chest.
Her shoulder rising and falling.
This incident happened three years ago and since then she’s been seeing it in her dreams, she doesn’t think it will stop anytime soon until she gets the revenge she wants.
It was exactly three years this incident happened yet she wouldn’t stop seeing it in her sleep. She hated them so much for what they did to her
She shove her hand under her pillow and brought a picture of Alex.
A faint chuckle left her lips as she stared at it. She slowly touched it, rubbing her hand on his face smiling.
“My baby so cute. How are you doing without momma? I hope you’re fine. Don’t worry, momma will soon come and get you okay?” She chuckled, still rubbing his pic sadly.
“Madi are you up? The show is- You’re still on the bed?” Derek said walking into the room and he sighed immediately he saw her looking at photo.
He slowly walked to her and sat beside her on the bed. He stared at the picture in her hand and she chuckled.
“He is so cute isn’t he?” She asked and Derek nodded.
“Yeah he is. Just like you.” He said and she smiled.
“I miss him.” She muttered batting her lashes to prevent the tears building up from falling down.
“I know. Don’t worry, it will be fine soon. You’ll get to be with him again.” Derek said, patting her shoulders and she smiled.
“I know. That’s my goal, to make sure I get back my son.” She said and Derek smiled.
“Yes. And I’m right behind you. You should make all those people pay.” He said and she just stared into space with a blank expression.
“Get up now. Remember you have a show by 10am.” He said and she nodded.
“I’ll prepare something for you to eat.” He said and left the room.
Valerie looked at the clock, 8:47am and she sighed.
Derek was the man who saved her when she fell into that cliff. He took her in and took care of her like a daughter, he had no family, if he had, he had refused to say anything about them.
He has been her main drive to getting the justice she rightfully deserves. He moulded into a successful adult and she forever owed him.
Now she is a top rated model in the modelling industry despite the fact that she wasn’t up to two years in the industry.
Today, she is having a show which big celebrities will be attending and amongst them was Evie Zhang.
She was never gonna miss it for anything. She had worked this year’s to get her attention, and today she’s surely gonna get it.
Getting her attention was her first step to revenge.
She smirked thinking of it.
