“My big boy!” Giovanni said as he walked to them, he ruffled his hair and he giggled.
“I missed you.” He pouted.
“Grandpa missed you more.”
“Geez, what’s with the missing missing?” She asked.
“Mom, I want to stay for the weekend.” Leo suddenly said, with a cute puppy eyes.
“No!”
“Do you need to take her permission? Of course, you’re not going anywhere.” Tessa said.
“Yes!!!” He screamed and June was forced to cover her ear.
“Mom!”
“What?” Her mom asked and she smiled at the joy Leo brought to their home.
Being the only son of the family was a joy, he got the love from everyone.
“Let’s go have dinner.” Tessa said instead and they began walking to the dining room.
“Wassup Jeffery? How’s the company?” Giovanni asked Jeffery as they walked to the dining room.
“Good.” He simply replied.

VALERIE’S APARTMENT
“So how did your show go Madi?” Derek asked as they had had their dinner.
Madi was the name he calls her, short form of Madison.
“Excellent. First step successfully achieved today.” She smirked and Derek smiled.
“I’m proud of you.” He said.
“I’m still waiting for her call.” She said.
“Did you give her your number?” He asked.
“No. But I’m definitely sure she’ll call.” She said, hopefully and Derek nodded.
“Okay… If she calls what are you gonna do?” He asked.
“I’ll decline what ever she has to offer if she calls.” She simply told him.
“She’s someone who thinks she can buy everyone with money, but I’ll tell her, her money can’t buy me.” She said and Derek nodded.
Just then her phone began ringing and she picked it up. The moment she saw it was an unsaved number calling, she smirked before swiping green and just like she had predicted, she was the one calling.
Evie Zhang!
“Hey Valerie Keys, it’s Evie Zhang here.” The proudness in her voice could be clearly detected.
“I know.” Valerie said simply.
“Huh? How did you know? I mean, do you have my number?” Evie asked from the other side.
“No… I just know.” Valerie replied and she could hear her sigh.
“Rush over why you call, time is one thing I value most in this life and I don’t waste it for meaningless things.”

“Meaningless thing?? Did- did you just call me meaningless thing?” Evie asked and Valerie smirked.
“I was only telling you, I didn’t say you are. You can be if you choose to.” She said.
“Seriously??… It’s strange how I’m not getting angry at you.” Evie told her and a cranky smile formed on her face.
“Why did you call Mrs Evie Zhang??” She asked instead, ignoring what she said.
“Let’s meet tomorrow, I’ll send you the location. You should be there before 12pm.” She instructed.
“What makes you think I’ll come?”
“You’ll come for sure. I know your type of people. I’ll meet you tomorrow. Bye Valerie Keys.” She said and ended the call.
She slowly brought down the phone from her ear, staring into space.
“What did she say?” Derek asked.

ZHANG’S MANSION ** JUNE’S ROOM
They were done with dinner and Leo went with his grandma. June could be seen laying on her bed, scrolling through her phone.
She had her books placed in front of her, all opened but she wasn’t reading any of it, just pressing her phone.
Suddenly she sat up on the bed still staring at her phone. “What! Paisley??” She bursted into a uncontrollable laughter.
“My gawd! This is so funny! Suits her right.” She laughed, reading the comments.
? I thought Paisley is the president if Evie’s fan base?
? Same here. She’s a two-faced b*tch, switching from sides to sides.
? I love what Valerie did to her anyway, she’s always feeling too important in the media.
? A pompous brat.
? You needed to see the look on her face when Valerie turned her down. I could kll for it.
“Pity my baby a little bit, please.” She laughed, considering the fact that no celebrity ever turned down Paisley, it was a big shame to her.
