Arabella turned to leave too but her hand was taken hold by someone.
She turned to see Gerald standing behind her while tightening his hold on her hand.
“You won’t be taking the plane with everyone else. You will be flying with me in my jet”He said as the trio stared at him in surprise.
“Why?”Arabella finally got to ask as she have been starring at him after he made the announcement about her sharing a plane with him.
“The plane is going to get a bit cramped and being a important figure we won’t want you to accuse our company of treating you bad and all that”Gerald replied.
“But I won’t do that and I prefer going with them and…..”
“Your luggage is being transferred to my jet already. Let’s just go.
You won’t mind her staying with me right?”He asked John and Nina who had gone quiet behind her.
Refuse! Please refuse. She silently urged the two but it seems like Gerald had taken charge of things again.
She heard them agree and before she knew it. She was whisked off by Gerald who was a gentle man all through the ride at the plane.
Though she was still feeling self conscious around him and not wanting to talk.
She took out a magazine pretending to read when she felt him starring at her. Could she be over thinking it.
Why would he be starring at her. She thought as she slowly looked at him only to confirm that he is.
“Having noticed me starring you must not be fully captured by the magazine.
So instead of pretending to read that why don’t we talk”He said collecting the magazine from her.
“What would you like to talk about?”She asked trying to calm herself.
“Tell me about yourself? Why you chose to become a singer”He said and knowing that it might be better talking about herself than for him starring at her. She began telling him about herself.
“I never had the thought of singing or being a model. My parents forced the thoughts on me and now am here” She ended having told him about herself and how she became a singer.
“Aren’t you missing something?”He asked still starring at her.
“What did I possibly miss?”she asked in return.
“Your love life. Do you have someone your currently dating?” He asked surprising her.
Why would he be interested in her love life. Could he be interested in her? She thought.
A part of her felt happy and excited by the thought but the reasonable part in her got her feeling sad.
She was lying to him and once he gets to know the truth he will surely hate her.
“Currently i dont have a boyfriend. I would like to get some sleep.
Wake me up once we get there” she said as she pulled down the face mask while pretending to be asleep not wanting him to ask further questions.
He couldn’t be interested in her. He is just asking due to his business interest
They got to Connecticut where she had grown up as a child.
While the car took them to her parents home she found herself remincing about the past.
She has once been happy here until she got pregnant and it all changed.
