I will forever remember what you did father and I will continue hating you for it”She yelled at him.
“Hate me all you can. I did what was best for the family and you should be grateful to me.
If it weren’t for my decision, you wouldn’t be here so enough of this baby talk. She’s long gone already.
Get married and have another child”He said trying to dismiss the topic.
“You almost suceedded in getting rid of her but luckily I managed to find her and am glad that the lady who adopted her made her feel so much love.
She made her feel secure and loved. Things I was denied to give her thanks to you”Arabella said startling her father.
“You found her?”He asked feeling a little unsure about her confession.
“I did and this time I won’t let you take her away from me. If I have to forget that you are my father just to protect my child.
So be it” She threatened as she stormed out of the room not bothering to answer her father call.
Arabella ran to the garden where she found a quiet spot to cry her eyes out.
He didn’t feel any remorse for her daughter and that alone hurt.
“Crying alone?”on hearing John voice she looked up to see him standing over her.
Since there had been no place to seat she had crouched on the floor to cry.
She was lucky that it was John who found her cause she couldn’t stop her tears.
John crouched in front of her wanting to pat her head but she hugged him instead.
He held her until she had no tears to cry again. She moved out of his arms to stare at him.
“No more tears to cry again?”John asked
“Am sorry”She replied as she tried to wipe her tears off his shirt but instead he held her hand.
“I heard your conversation with your dad. Did he really do that to you?”John asked.
“He did and he’s still willing to do more if I allow it”She replied.
“It must have been hard for you”John said
“It was but its a lot better now that have found my daughter. Where are the others?”She asked.
“Back in their rooms. You should have come with us. It would have saved you from having this confrontation with your dad. “John said.
“It had to happen someday. I kept bottling it in because of our relationship but now am done.
I must have been so angry that I left the door open”She said remembering how she walked into her father study leaving the door wide open.
“Well at least am glad that you are the only one who heard “She added as she gave him a smile.
“Well actually there is something I have to tell you”John said suddenly.
