CHAPTER 117
DEVRON HOSPITAL~
Ariana walked down the hospital passage leading to Raymond’s ward with a plastic bag filled with nutrients and syrups good for the health especially for a patient.
Walking into the ward she was shocked
Raymond was shouting at the nurse attending to him to the extent of gripping her hand so tight causing red marks to appear on them
The nurse pulled out her hand from Raymond’s without ease and moved far from his reach
“Get out! I just said leave! now! Don’t touch me!!
Raymond boomed at the nurse
Every movement he made caused him to grit his teeth in pain
His face hurts and he didn’t need anybody to tell him what his face looked like.
Ariana rushed to his side
“Raymond, what’s wrong?
The nurse who was overwhelmed by the outburst briskly left the ward
Raymond was even more annoyed to see Ariana.
“I don’t need you here now, I want to be alone”
He uttered coldly without looking at her direction.
Ariana ignored his illtemper at the moment and carefully brought out the fruits and syrups to place them on the food table beside the bed
She didn’t know why but seeing Raymond made her remember how he had a private meeting with Georgia and her heart kept clenching
“It’s Georgia isn’t it?
Ariana uttered suddenly making Raymond to snap his head over her direction
“Do you still have a thing for her? Ain’t I enough for you anymore that you wanted her so badly to the point of meeting her?
Ariana threw questions at Raymond, forgetting he was a patient
Raymond felt annoyed seeing Ariana’s teary face. He wondered;
Why is she easily shedding tears?
He could remember he man handled Georgia but she hardly let a drop of her tears escape her eyes
Recalling what transpired that night, he felt anger rising up his chest and before he could stop himself, he swept the fruits and syrups on the table down to the floor
“I don’t want to see you now Ari, leave me alone!!
Ariana was annoyed but held back as tears poured down her cheeks instead
Feeling agitated, She moved closer to the bed
“Answer me Raymond! Tell me why you met her behind my back! You still want her don’t you?!
“Shut up!
Raymond warned
Ariana was having none of it and she fearlessly glared at Raymond
“I won’t be quiet Raymond, did you think I didn’t see the way you react whenever her name is being mentioned?
I think you really deserved what happened to you…ahhhhh!
Ariana screamed in shock
Raymond had gripped her hard around the neck giving it a squeeze
“Ray, let-let me go….have you gone nuts”
Ariana struggled
“I warned you didn’t I? I told you to shut up!!!
Raymond boomed
Ariana struggled with all her might and because Raymond was still weak, she was able to break free
Ariana looked at Raymond in shock
She couldn’t believe her eyes
“You did this to me Raymond! Me!
Ariana asked in shock but Raymond wasn’t even looking at her
She sniffed badly and left
Raymond angrily pvnched his fist hard on the be.d.
