“I’ll miss you mom”
Leah pouted as she gave her mom a bear hug
She was finally done with the pvnishment and would be returning to her work.
They’re crew had an upcoming shoot in Chicago and she would be travelling directly.
Madam Viola smiled through misty eyes as she reciprocated the hug with full fervor.
Ariana isn’t gone yet and she was already missing her child
But she was happy especially grateful to Dylan who made it happen
if only Dylan would come around someday she would be the most fufilled mother on Earth but anyways this was also okay.
Vikki who witnessed the motherdaughter touching moment smiled as she stood nearby.
Leah pulled out from her mom’s embrace with smiles
There was a knock at the door that moment and Vikki went to get it.
“Make sure you don’t starve yourself if unnecessary, you know you mustn’t starve to keep fit right.
I’m getting worried already, take enough fruits at least, I can even call your manager to not be too hard on you watching your diet”
Leah facepalmed at her mom’s nagging
This is one of the reasons she finds it difficult to stay at home!
“Alright Alright mom, I’ve heard everything you said and I will do the ones I can but seriously no need to call my manager or anything, I’ll be fine so stop worrying”
Leah assured with a chuckle
Vikki stepped in with a lady following right behind.
Leah looked over and her sweet expression earlier turned into a scowl
What was the white lotus doing here?!
She thought
Madam Viola smiled fondly at the young lady who walked up to her with smiles too.
“Good morning Aunt”
“Vanessa, it’s nice to see you, good morning”
Vikki needn’t nobody to tell her there was a little tension just a tiny bit of it rising already with the way the young miss was looking at the lady who just came in especially the interruption.
“Don’t you have a job to attend to?
That was Leah who spoke with raised brows obviously displeased with Vanessa’s presence in the house.
Vanessa looked over to Leah and saw the dislike in her eyes. The feeling was mutual.
But unlike Leah who made her displeasure obvious in her Madam Viola’s presence, Vanessa did well in masking hers with a sweet smile that didn’t reach her eyes
“Hey Leah, I had a morning meeting with one of our clients living around and I decided to come visit aunt on my way, it’s nice to see you Leah”
“well it isn’t for me”
Leah scoffed at the story
Morning meeting? Client? indeed.
Vanessa fought the urge to roll her eyes but instead she smiled with frowning at Leah’s words which meant she didn’t pick any offence
“Leah, that’s not nice”
Madam Viola cautioned and then to Vanessa she said
“I’m happy you came around to visit me despite your work load, now come Vikki will make us something”
