“Ray, let-let me go….have you gone nuts”
Ariana struggled
“I warned you didn’t I? I told you to shut up!!!
Raymond boomed
Ariana struggled with all her might and because Raymond was still weak, she was able to break free
Ariana looked at Raymond in shock
She couldn’t believe her eyes
“You did this to me Raymond! Me!
Ariana asked in shock but Raymond wasn’t even looking at her
She sniffed badly and left
Raymond angrily pvnched his fist hard on the bed
Ariana rushed out of the hospital in tears, just thinking of what Raymond did to her few moments ago made her feel doubled up in anger
She bumped into someone and with tear filled eyes Ariana raised her head
“You again?!!! Are you stalking me or something Mr?!
Ariana irritatingly asked the man, the same man who bumped into her some day ago at the restaurant
The man made a surprised gesture and then raised his brows
“Well at least I didn’t bump into you this time”
The man said with a lopsided smile perched on his lips
Ariana rolled her eyes
Well even though she was the one at fault this time because she wasn’t looking, she wouldn’t apologize, ever!
But soon the man frowned when he saw her red eyes
did she cry?
Who hurt her?
No matter what, she was his daughter, his biological daughter for that,
The man observed her arrogance and smiled
“Just what I need”
The man said
“Do you want to get rid of her so badly?
The man asked and Ariana quickly snapped her eyes at him
The man laughed
“don’t look at me that way, I’m talking about your sister… oops she isn’t your sister exactly”
At this point, there was no doubt Ariana was confused
“Wh-wh-what do you mean? What are you talking about!
Ariana didn’t know why but she felt a strange yet familiar attraction to this man.
He looked so dangerously dark, there was this cold hint dancing around his eyes even though he seemed to be smiling at the moment.
Now comes his words, if she could recall accurately, the first time they crossed paths, the man mentioned something about her sending his regards to her mom.
Now he seems to know about Georgia but what exactly did he mean by Georgia not being my sister exactly?
The strange man seems to know about her family.
“Who are you? You’re not an assassin sent to abduct me and bring my family down are you?
Ariana said as she made a protective stance
She had heard about assassins sent as spies to track down rich girls from prominent families and she wouldn’t want to be a victim of those stories.
The man laughed out loud
so she feels scared too?
“I’m Derick Lawson and I want to help you get rid of your biggest enemy but in return you must give me something in return, deal?
“What are you talking about Derick or whatever you called yourself few seconds ago, what do you know about me or my family?!
I ain’t making any stupid deal with you, stop htting on me and go find a woman same age as you to fling with!
“If I see you anywhere around me again I’ll call the cops on you!!
Ariana barked with anger and walked past him
“Tsk … troublesome”
