Aliyah’s Pov:
Arya was sitting on the couch watching TV with the remote control in her hand.
While I was at the dinning preparing some fruit salad for us as sandwich.
I poured the sliced assorted fruits into two plates as I walked to the refrigerator beside me.
I brought out the can of condensed milk as I poured it into each ot the plates.
I carried the plates to the sitting room and handed one of the plates to my Arya.
“This is for you baby” I said as Arya took the plate from me.
“Thank you Mommy” She said as she stirred hers and started eating.
We ate in silence until I broke the silence.
“So tell me baby girl… How was school for you today?” I asked hoping she likes it.
She dropped the plate on the table as she picked up a serviette paper and wiped her mouth before turning to me.
“You won’t believe it mommy! I already have a friend” She announced with so much excitement.
“Really?” I popped out my eyes in excitement.
“Honestly mommy…. It’s not really difficult making friends here in Capetown” She laughed.
“Which means the first day was superb?” I asked as she nodded with smiles all over her face.
“Very much superb! The school compound mommy is so big” She almost screamed.
“Are you for real?” I widened my eyes.
“Honestly mommy the school is so nice then my new friend’s name is Sofia and guess what mommm?” She talkatively asked.
“What? You know mommy is not a good guesser…. Am not good at guessing” I said.
“She’s in same class with me and we are of the same height and she has a brown long hair” She explained.
“Wow! That’s good to hear” I smiled.
“You know what mommy I think I like Capetown a lot now” She said as I hugged her tightly.
“Am happy you do my baby girl” I said as she nodded her head.
Picking up her plate,,,, she continued eating.
Thank goodness she isn’t having a hard time here else she would start thinking of going back to where we came from.
“You know baby we need to get some groceries first” I said.
“Oh mommy I don’t want to be home alone so am coming with you” She cried out.
“Alright finish up so that we will have to go together” I said as she jumped for joy.

Natasha’s Pov:
I was holding a newspaper and reading when the door creaked open noisily.
Patrick walked in with his school bag hanged on one of his shoulder’s.
He looked extremely tired as he took off the bag throwing it on the couch.
He sat heavily on the couch.
He can’t even greet at least… Am used to that by the way.
“How was school son?” I asked but instead of a reply I got a long hiss.
He looked at me and looked away.
“Are you insane Patrick? Am talking to you and you shouldn’t dare hiss at me?” I became very pissed off.
“Really? So what now mom? You expect me to jump up and hug you for putting me in that God forsaken school” He rolled his eyes.
“You should be grateful Patrick… A little bit of gratefulness won’t kill you” I shouted at him.
“That’s not what I want! I told you I don’t freaking want to go to school” He shouted back at me.
“Gosh! What kind of a person are you? There are people out there who will beg on their knees to be sent to school talk more of such a big school” I said.
“Who cares? I don’t want to go to school Mrs Natasha Rodriguez…. Don’t you get it? I want to own a gambling house that’s all” he ranted as he rushed upstairs.
“Will you come back here? Come back here right now Patrick…. Don’t you dare walk out on me” I screamed with warning tones but he walked away angrily paying me a deaf ear.
“Is this child of mine a punishment from God or a blessing?” I muttered as I sat heavily on the couch.

Arthur’s Pov:
I drove straight to the grocery shop….
I needed to get some items for Natasha from the grocery shop.
So from the office I drove straight to the grocery store.
I got down from my car and walked into the shop to get the items.
I shopped the stuffs as fast as possible with my mind still wondering how his first day at school would be.
I just hope that Patrick didn’t do anything silly in school today.
Cos I won’t hesitate to make him pay dearly.
I will forget that he is my son and make him pay dearly.
I was done so I paid to the cashier as my goods was wrapped and handed to me.
I walked out of the shop and straight to my car.
I got to the car and opened the car boot where I dropped the shopped items.
I locked the car boot and walked towards the front seat where I sat on the car.
Suddenly I spotted someone….
I think I saw ALIYAH……
