Episode 45
Arya’s Pov:
“What?” I almost screamed my voice out.
“Baby girl we are doing this for your own good my child” Mom started.
“Oh please mom… What good are you talking about?” I didn’t even realize that I was screaming back at my mom.
“Arya you know how much I love you right? You know I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you so trust me on this baby girl” Mom tried to persuade.
“You can leave mommy! You can go wherever it is that you think is safe but I am not coming with you” I said.
“Arya my child… This is very important! We have to move from here…” Mom cried out.
“That was exactly what you said few weeks ago and we left our formal residence to Capetown now what?” I shouted do loud.
“Arya I am your mother and I should be the one to say where we goes” Mom said with a stern voice as I scoffed.
“Well mommy am tired of having to go around all in the name of finding somewhere safe” I said.
“Don’t you want safety Arya? Do you want to endanger your life?” Mom cried.
“Mom I don’t want to go anywhere…. You can go to your safe place but I am not leaving Capetown,” I replied.
“Arya? What’s wrong with you?” Mom yelled at me.
“You mom! You are the one making my life hell…. just few weeks ago you told me that we have to live a place where I found comfort for Capetown… I was shattered mommy! But I still obeyed you and we moved here barely one week and you want us to leave?” I cried bitterly.
“Baby please… We have to leave as soon as possible!” mom said.
“You can go! Just leave me here…. I already like my new school” I said.
“Go pack your things Arya we have to leave Capetown” mom said as I rolled my eyes.
“Am not going anywhere with you Mommy! You can leave me alone and go wherever it is that you want! Am going nowhere” I didn’t even know where I gathered that courage to speak.
“Arya?” Mom screamed as she landed a sIap on my cheeks.
Hot tears pricked my eyes and gradually ran down my cheeks.
“I still remain your mother and you should speak to me with respect” Mom screamed.
I rushed out as I ran upstairs with tears.
Why is she being so unfair?
Why would mom keep doing this?
What the he.ll is so unsafe here in Capetown again?
What safety is she talking about?
For how long should we keep on moving about like tramps?
I won’t go anywhere no matter what she does.
I’d rather run into the streets than leave Capetown.
Am tired of moving about and losing friends.
I rushed straight into my room and slammed the door noisily bolting it.
“Am going no freaking place” I cried out as I jumped on the bed.
Hugging the very big pink teddy bear on my bed and covering myself with the duvet.
Tears was already wetting my pillow.
“I won’t go anywhere” I kept on muttering.

Aliyah’s Pov:.
“Are you out of your mind Aliyah? What the hell is wrong with you?” Dora almost screamed.
“Dora this place is no longer safe for us…. We have to leave” I cried pacing around.
“Leave you say? Leave to where? Where are you going to?” Dora asked.
“Anywhere Dora! Anywhere but Capetown” I snapped.
“Do you realize you are hurting the child? Do you know how much pains you are making the poor child go through?” Dora worried.
“Dora I can’t let him take my child away…. I can’t let him take my daughter from me” I cried.
“For God sake no one is taking Arya away from you…. For how long will you keep on running from the truth” Dora shouted.
“Dora this is getting me scared! I don’t want any future with Arthur in it…. My daughter and I are doing very good without him and I wouldn’t want to endanger our lives with him in it” I worried.
“You know the truth will definitely come out someday so why are you covering it up? Arya is of age and she needs to know the truth” Dora said.
“I can’t let her find out about her father…. She shouldn’t know anything about Arthur” I said.
“Dora this is not helping…. You know how much you made Leo lose just to help you get a job here and move into Capetown besides am settling down here as well” She said.
“Dora you should understand me….try to understand how I feel” I cried.
“You might not agree with me but believe me I really understand you but the truth must surface besides Arthur didn’t even get to know where you live with your daughter” Dora said.
“What? What are you talking about? Should I wait till Arthur finds us before we move out of Capetown?” I cried out.
“If you finds you then make everything clear to both the child and him” Dora advised.
“No Dora…. I can’t let that happen! You don’t know how that guy is…. He will stop at nothing to make sure he gets Arya from me” I said.
“Just fight your fears girlfriend” Dora scoffed.
“Am trying but I can’t…. As a matter of fact we had no child together and Arya is not his child… His child is long dead” I said.
“What?” Dora freaked out.
“Yes Dora! He doesn’t have the right to call my daughter his child cos he never for once fathered her” I said as Dora shook her head.

I packed my clothes into the box which I placed on the bed as fast as possible.
From the side open wardrobe I took my clothes and packed them in the box.
Nothing will stop me from leaving Capetown.
Am sure Arthur will be looking all over for Arya and I.
I can’t let him get a trace of us.
We have to leave as soon as possible.
I kept on packing….
We are taking the night bus out of Capetown..
No one can get me to change my mind..
We are leaving tonight.

Arya’s Pov:
I was still in my locked up room.
I was now sitting on the bed with my cellphone operating it.
Am not going to leave this room because am not going anywhere with my Mom.
If she’s do eager to leave Capetown then she can leave for all I care.
I was still sulking when I heard a knock on my door.
“Arya? Baby?? Just open the door for me…. We have to get your things packed” That was mom’s voice.
What in heaven’s name is Mom talking about?
Am going no freaking place…..
I kept mute and continued sulking.
“Arya! I said open the door” She shouted.
“Ma’am Aliyah Cruz….I am going NOWHERE” I spoke up with so much courage and guts……
