Episode 91
Arya’s Pov:
The alarm clock rang noisily and I quickly sprang up from the bed.
You don’t know the excitement I feel when I think of going to school again.
I’ve really missed going to school to be honest.
I quickly rushed into the bathroom for a quick shower.
I made for my toothbrush and toothpaste then I brushed my teeth as fast as I could.
Took my bath and got out of the bathroom.
Straight I went to the wardrobe to get my school uniform that I already washed and ironed.
I took it out of the wardrobe and kssed the dress.
“I really can’t wait to be in school again! Gosh! Being in the hospital the whole day is the worst thing in the world” I thought as I shook my head and chuckled.
I applied my body cream and put on my school uniform.
I made for my shoes in the stacker.
It wasn’t dusty cos a day before I already have the shoes cleaned.
Am prepared for school today right?
I really am tired of being at home and lazing around.
I put on the shoes as I stood right in front of my dressing mirror wearing a beautiful smile.
“Finally! I can go back to school” I laughed a little before making for my school bag.
“Good morning baby! Wakie wakie… It’s time to dress up for…” Mom said as she fling my door open.
She gasped in shock covering her mouth with her palms.
“Good heavens! You are already up baby?” Mom was so surprised.
I chuckled and covered my mouth.
“Yes Mommy! You don’t have to bother yourself trying to wake me up! I had my alarm clock set and I got up very early” I said as Mom burst into laughter.
“You are so funny Arya! So because you want to be early you had to set an alarm” Mom laughed.
“Like I said Mom I don’t want to be late for school so am doing everything I can so that I won’t be late” I said as Mom patted my hair.
“That’s good! Anyways I already served breakfast on the dinning but you have to wait for me to dress up so that we can eat together” Mom said as I nodded.
“Alright then Mom!” I replied as Mom walked out of the room.
I smiled broadly as I thought of going to school.
Just then, my cellphone rang aloud and I quickly made for it on my stool.
To my greatest surprise, it was a strange number.
“Who could this be?” I thought inwardly as I refuse to accept the call until the phone went off.
I can’t remember knowing or giving someone my phone number.
I became really worried trying to figure out who could be calling me.
Just then, the cell phone started ringing again and this time I decided to pick the call up.
“Hello” I said calmly.
“Hi Arya! You are coming to school today right?” The familiar voice asked.
“Err.. yeah! Who is this if I may ask” I started.
“Am sorry I didn’t introduce myself before asking you questions! It’s me Martin” The voice said as I gasped.
“Martin?” I almost screamed my voice out.
“Yes it’s me Martin” The voice came again.
“Am.. am really sorry Martin! I didn’t know it was you” I gulped hard not knowing what else to say.
“That’s alright! I should be the one apologizing cos I didn’t even tell you who I was” He laughed while I smiled.
“Uhmm.. of course I will be coming to school today, what about you?” I asked changing the topic.
“I sure will.. I only wanted to know if you will come” He said as I smiled.
“Nothing will stop me from coming to school you know” I laughed.
“Alright then! Am happy you are fine now and that you can come to school today” He said.
“Am happy too.. so who .. who gave you my cell phone number?” I asked.
“It’s your friend Sofia! I asked her for it and she gave me” He replied.
“Alright then! It’s fine.. you can go prepare for school while I do the same” I said not knowing what to tell him.
“Good! I’ll see you later ok?” He said.
“Sure ok!” I snapped before hanging up on him.
I took a deep breath and smiled to myself.
Wait a minute! Why am I even smiling?
What am I smiling for and who am I smiling for as well?
I shouldn’t smile or feel excited that this Martin guy called me right?
Phew! Why would that crazy friend of mine give him my phone number in the first place?
I hope I don’t get myself into trouble because of this!
That lunatic girlfriend of his might think that I want to take her boyfriend away from her right?
When I don’t plan doing anything of that nature…
I was still lost in thought when I heard my Mom calling me from downstairs.
“Arya! Arya!! Am done baby you can come downstairs for breakfast” That was my mom’s voice.
“A second Mom!” I said as I picked up my cell phone with my backpack already on my back, I rushed out of the room banging the door behind me.

Aliyah’s Pov:
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got into Arya’s room.
She was already dressed for school.. that was the funniest thing ever.
And I thought I was going to wake her up.
“My daughter is really very happy going to school and mingling with others and am happy about that but I still don’t feel secured here but I can’t risk my daughter’s happiness no matter what” I thought withing myself.
Anyways I have to take my bath fast so that I won’t be the one to waste her time.
I walked into the bathroom for a quick shower and I dressed up for work.
I quickly walked downstairs to the dinning table and called for my daughter who rushed downstairs.
“Mmhh.. I love the aroma am perceiving Mom” She said immediately she got into the dinning.
I laughed so loud as I sat on the chair.
“You are sure gonna love it cos it’s one of your favorite” I said as she jumped up.
“We are having chicken sauce and rice for breakfast?” She danced as I shook my head in disagreement.
“That’s where you get it wrong my darling.. actually we having oatmeal for breakfast” I said as her face countenance changed.
“But why am I perceiving the aroma of chicken sauce Mom?” She said gloomily.
“Cheers up baby; the chicken sauce and rice that you are perceiving is actually your lunch and I have already dished it into your lunch box” I said as she smiled.
“All good! I’ll surely eat it in school that’s what’s important” She said as I nodded.
“That’s it baby! Let’s eat” I said as we started eating in silence.

Martin’s Pov:
I stood in front of mirror as I made sure I was looking really good.
I applied my body spray over and over again to make sure that I was giving a good scent.
“Good! She is surely going to fall in love with me if she sees me” I thought inwardly smiling crazily.
“You don’t have to look at yourself over and over again! You are already very handsome brother” That was my sister’s voice.
I gulped hard as I exhaled deeply.
“I want to look my best so that she will fall in love with me immediately she sees me” I said as we shared a laugh.
“Who won’t fall for my very handsome brother huh? She will surely fall so in love with you that you will be shocked” She said.
“I hope so! I really hope she likes me too so that it won’t be tough for me” I said.
“Trust me! There is everything to love about you Martin so she will surely love you even without you wanting to finish up that bottle of body spray” She laughed.
“You won’t understand! I really love her” I chuckled.
“The thing is am just wondering how that Kimberly will take this” She said as I scratched my head.
“Me too.. I don’t know how to even break up with her! How to tell her that am done with this charade we call a relationship” I said worriedly.
“But you must tell her! She has a right to know that you don’t love her” She said as I gulped hard.
“You are right! I should make her know that we are not meant for each other even though our parents keep pushing us to be together against our wishes” I nodded my head in agreement.
“I just hope she understands cos she doesn’t look like someone who will understand you” She scoffed.
“I don’t want to know if she understand or not! Am just going to give her a piece of mind so that we can stop decieving ourselves like we are doing” I said with my mind made up.
“Am happy you know exactly what you want for yourself” She said as she hugged me tightly.
“It’s already enough that we have been decieving ourselves.. I can’t keep on cheating myself just because we are being forced to love her when the love is not forth coming” I replied so determined.

Arya’s Pov:
After the breakfast I got into mom’s car and she drove our of the compound.
“You look so happy Arya! Is that how happy you are just because you are going back to school?” Mom asked as I chuckled.
“Of course Mom! What would excite me so much if not that am going to school?” I furrowed my eyebrows.
Mom smiled a bit before shaking her head.
“You are so excited and I was thinking there is more to your excitement than going to school” Mom chipped in.
“What?” I coughed slightly.
“Come on you can tell me anything Arya! Am your mommy and I can’t let you get into any harm which you know very well” Mom started.
“Honestly Mom! I don’t know what you are trying to insinuate” I gulped hard.
“You are no longer a baby Arya! You should understand what am trying to say my darling baby girl” Mom said.
“To be frank Mom I don’t know where it is that you are driving at” I said still a bit confused.
“What I mean is do you have a boyfriend in school?” Mom asked as I gasped.
“Boyfriend?” I burst into laughter as Mom stared at me in confusion.
“What’s funny here Arya? Don’t you know what boyfriend means or what?” Mom almost screamed.
“Am sorry for laughing Mom but this is actually funny” I continued.
“How is it funny because I don’t understand why you would be laughing like I don’t know what am saying” Mom said.
“What’s funny is that you think I have a boyfriend” I explained.
“Well if that’s the case you and I know that,, that is actually possible and what’s why I want you to tell me the truth if you have a boyfriend or not” Mom said as I shook my head.
“Of course not Mom! I don’t have any boyfriend.. that’s crazy!” I continued laughing.
“You can laugh all you care but you wouldn’t blame me! I mean you keep jumping up and down that you are starting school again like there is a reason” mom said.
“Oh Mom! You are amusing me the more! Am just happy because am no longer in the hospital and I can leave my normal life as well the way I want to than being in that good for nothing hospital” I explained.
“You won’t blame me my child! I just want to know if you have fallen in love or if you have someone who you are strongly crushing on that’s making you want to go to school” Mom said as I kept mute.
“Martin” I muttered under my breath…..
