Malcolm Jones in his facebook post recently, said :

Along with the impending National Insurance rise we have income tax, pension tax, savings tax, stamp duty, death duty, VAT, tax on beer at 96p a litre, tax on petrol and diesel at 58p per litre with VAT added to both the product and the tax itself.

On top of this we have a green levy at 0.46p for every kWh of gas and 0.78p for electricity generated by fossil fuels plus VAT on top.

This is in addition to council tax, airport tax, insurance tax, company car tax, benefit in kind tax, capital gains tax and many more stealth taxes levied against the general public.

Whilst people around Great Britain suffer as inflation grips our nation its well within the power of Parliament to help the British Public by cutting taxation and reducing government departmental waste.

The only problem we have is those that make the rules are insulated from the issues faced by ordinary folk.
