Vivian POV
I woke up the next day and yawned, that was the best sleep I had in years, sleeping in such a comfortable bed was the best.
I stood up and brushed my teeth, took a bath and dressed up in new dresses. As the cook, I need to be early, I have to cook breakfast for boss before he leaves and this time no pranks.
I am going to be preparing bacon and eggs. I wonder how he is going to react when he sees me this morning.
Is he going to yell at me like those cruel bosses in movies do? Or he’s gonna pretend nothing happened? Or the worst. What if he sacks me? Oh no. I will be doomed!!
I have to make sure I apologize. I left my room for the kitchen and set to preparing breakfast immediately.
Damon POV
I woke up with a hungry stomach but there’s no way I am eating at home, I don’t wanna defecate till I get my intestines out.
But why do I have a cook then? Should I just sack her? The food was absolutely amazing but the aftermath was hell.
I have to call my sweetheart first, I picked my phone and called her, she picked up at the fourth ring.
“Hey babe” I said with a wide smile.
“Hey Damon, you good?” She asked with a beautiful smile.
“Yes, I am but what are you doing that you couldn’t pick up my call early” I asked pouting and she laughed.
“You are so cute. I was in the bathroom so I had to rush here” she replied.
“I am missing you, aren’t you gonna come visit me?” I asked.
“You know I can’t do that for now. Mum and Dad still wants me here to manage their business” she replied and I frowned.
“Okay then, since you don’t wanna come visiting, I will always be here waiting for you patiently” I replied.
“Me too” she said with a smile. “And make sure you don’t stare at other ladies too much or touch them too” she added with a stern face and I nodded smiling.
“I have to go now!” She said and I nodded and ended the call.
Talking to my babe made this morning better. But come to think of it. How about a surprise visit to her since she can’t come here but I can go there?
She will be so excited! And surprised too! Good idea. I walked into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, took my bath and dressed up for work.
Vivian POV
I was done cooking and setting the table. I guess I was too early after all even for a cook.
I turned on the television but quickly turned it off. I am still awaiting trial so I shouldn’t watch movies instead I should act sober.
I heard some footsteps and at once I knew it was boss. I gulped hard and stood up to look at him with a smile but I was not welcomed with a friendly face.
I brought my face down and bit my lip. He walked past me and I looked up. Isn’t he gonna eat?
I ran to him and tapped him gently, he turned back to look at me and glared at me gently, I gave him the best puppy eyes but he didn’t budge.
“Speak!” He roared making me flinch back in fear.
“I already prepared your food aren’t you going to eat?” I asked.
“So the same thing would happen” he said.
“No, that’s not it. It was a mistake yesterday. Those food were not meant for you” I tried explaining but he only nodded and walked off.
G©sh! He has a terrible temper! If he doesn’t eat it, I will give it to the dogs. Mum said if your husband doesn’t eat your food, he’s going to send you out soon but this guy is not my husband so what’s it.
Wait a min, what if he sends me out? I am doomed! Vivian calm down and think. I have to plan a surprise for him, a huge one.
Okay, let’s start by decorating the house, I know those stupid guards won’t help me so I won’t even ask them for help.
I have to buy the decoration stuffs but I don’t even have money. Hmm, then I should sell some things.
I looked around and found a golden necklace, it will be really expensive and enough to buy all I want.
I went out with it to look for a buyer.
Damon POV
I never knew craziee could be so scared, maybe yesterday was really a mistake, she didn’t mean to do it but I am going to continue being stern for a while, I enjoyed the look on her face.
I smiled and rested back into my chair. I will be going to see Melissa next week, I touched my neck but couldn’t find it.
Ugh? Where did I drop the necklace? It was the necklace that bonded I and Melissa. I must have forgotten it at home, stupid me.
Vivian POV
Wow, it’s ready! It’s really beautiful and I got the guards to help me out too. They are nice, I guess they were just doing their job the other day.
Now, won’t boss come back home? I pray he doesn’t stay late.
“Is the boss back?” Philip asked, one of the guards.
“If he was back, you should be the first person to know that right?” I replied with a question and he nodded.
“But Vivian, I don’t think the boss is going to like this at all”
Damon POV
I alighted from my car with Mike, my friend. Just looking at my house, I had a strange feeling.
Well craziee is here so there would definitely be some crazy feeling.
“Let’s go in” Mike said but I held his hands.
“Mike, there’s a little wtch inside but she’s not so little. Try not to step on her toes cause I won’t help you” I said and he looked at me, confused.
I saw Philip walking in definitely unaware of my presence. I walked to the door and heard him talking to craziee, since when did they become friends?
“But Vivian, I don’t think the boss is going to like this at all” Philip said.
“What are you doing? Let’s go in” Mike said.
“Shut up, a little eavesdropping is fun” I replied and he sighed.
“Philip! It’s a surprise!” I heard a tiny voice say, that’s Vivian.
A surprise? For me? Wow, super.
“Where did you get the money?” Philip asked.
“I found a golden necklace here and I sold it” she replied and my head went off.
“Craziee!!!!” I yelled barging in angrily.
“Sur…. Sur…prise” she yelled.
“Where’s the necklace?” I asked.
“Hmm, I sold it” she said.
“You are dead and fired!!” I yelled.
