Vivian POV
I could feel my heart beating faster like it was going to explode soon.
Should I push him away? Jump up? I couldn’t even lift a finger, I don’t know if it was the beating or something else.
He gently cupped my face in his hands and didn’t break the gaze, his eyes on my lips all this while.
I found my eyes closing and then….then….the door opened making me jump up from my position.
My boss too moved away from me very quickly but not we were not quick enough to avoid being seen but thankfully it’s Roxanne.
“What…what are you both doing?” She asked with widened eyes.
“It’s not what you think, we were just….just….” My boss started.
“He was checking my wounds. Oh no, it still hurts, Roxanne,come over here and check it” I said.
“Yes, that’s true. She was beaten quite badly” my boss said.
“I will leave you to talk then” he said and walked out of my room.
“What just happened in here?” Roxanne asked, with excitement in her voice.
“I told you what happened, didn’t I?” I asked trying to avoid her questions.
“You know you can’t lie to me right? I am not blind, I saw it, you too were trying to kss” she said and I hit her.
“Okay, you are right” I gave in since it was useless, Roxanne would force the truth out of me anyways.
“”Wow, how did it happen. How did you get your boss to fall for you so quickly?” She asked and I scoffed.
“Fall for who? He didn’t fall for me. He was just sitting here and I asked him to prepare something for me, then he started coming closer and closer” I explained.
“Than why didn’t you push him away?” She asked.
“I couldn’t, I was so afraid, I guess” I replied.
“Of what? Stop lying, you fell for your boss. What did I even think of when you were coming here? Who would live with your boss and not fall for him?” She asked.
“Shut it! I didn’t fall for anyone and him falling for me? Come on, I am a girl with such a small body, did you really expect him to fall for me? I got no a$$, no b©©bs” I explained.
“You are such a fool! That doesn’t matter, when It comes to love” she said and poked my head.
“Enough of this stupid talk, I am so hungry. Go and prepare something for me” I said and pushed her off the bed.
“Your room is so beautiful, I have to take several pictures before I leave” she replied.
“Is that what I am going to eat?” I asked.
“I am going to cook now, foodie!” She said.
“Whatever” I muttered and she walked out of the room.
Roxanne POV
Just imagine all the things we would be enjoying if the two of them end up together.
What should I do about them? Damon may not love her and I don’t want to cause Vivian heartbreak so I should know if Damon is concerned about her then I do the same to Vivian.
I saw Damon walking into a room, that must be his room. Time to swung into action.
I ran after him and knocked on the door.
“Yeah, who is that?” He asked.
“It’s Roxanne,open up and please be fast” I replied wiry a scared voice and he opened up almost immediately.
“What happened? Did anything happen to craziee?” He asked.
“She tried running after e and fell down, she’s bleeding in the head right now” I said with a scared expression.
Damon POV
“What??” I yelled and stamped my feet on the floor angrily.
She’s just recovering and she’s getting hurt already, I am so tired too. I can’t do anything.
“Hey, just take care of her yourself. I did my best today” I said and returned into my room.
Craziee will always remain crazy, even if she gets treated right now, she will get into another trouble.
Roxanne POV
Wait,wasn’t my expression okay? Wasn’t my acting okay? Oh no, he doesn’t love her. Vivian is going to be heartbroken.
But I should still try Vivian out too and see if things work out, at least she can make him fall for her.
I breathed in and out, I have to make my acting perfect this time around. I ran to her room and barged in panting heavily.
“What happened? Don’t tell me the food got burnt” she said.
She only cares about food! Fool!
“No, not that. Your boss…he’s been rushed to the hospital” I said and she furrowed her brows.
“Really? Oh no, let’s go downstairs” she said and walked downstairs.
At least, Vivian loves him, good news!
“You haven’t even started cooking” she said walking into the kitchen.
“Are you talking about food right now?” I asked.
“Of course, about boss, we will visit him later. I am sure he going to be okay” she replied.
Okay, o guess I was wrong. There’s no love here. I heard a door opening, it was the boss.
“Wait, Roxy. Didn’t you say the boss was in a hospital?” Vivian asked.
“Craziee, how come? I thought Roxanne said you hurt your head” her boss said.
I am in deep trouble now!
