“So who is sending it to her?”Mason asked.
“I really don’t know”
“What if it’s one of her colleagues at work”
“It can’t be them, they all know we are dating”
“Yeah, they know but some of them can be persistent”
“They wouldn’t dare”
It was the weekend and we were getting ready for the dinner party with the business partner.
“Am ready”Kylie said as she stepped into my room.
“Woah, you look g0rgeous”
I grabbed her by the waist making her giggle.
“Come on, let’s go downstairs”
“I have a better idea, let’s just kss till we are n*ked”
“Shut up, let’s go”.
We got downstairs and the partners started coming little by little.

I was already getting bored of staying with them,i wish Nina was here.
“Daniel,am going to the bathroom”
I went to the bathroom to clear my head.
Few minutes later,i came downstairs and saw Daniel talking to a guy but i couldn’t see the guy’s face, they were laughing together.
The guy turned around and i saw his face clearly..Oh my Goodness,this can’t be happening,it can’t be him,it just can’t be him.
“Babe,meet Jamil,the owner of the company we are partnering with” Daniel said
I looked at Jamil then back at Daniel,i smiled nervously.
“Um..he..hey, am Kylie, Daniel’s Girlfriend”
“I know,he wouldn’t keep quiet about you” Jamil said
Oh,God,that explains it,Palm springs,it was Jamil that sent those chocolate.
Through out the dinner,i could feel Jamil starring at me.

The dinner was over and the partners left.
“Danny, there is something i need to tell you” Kylie said as she walked in.
“What is it?”
“It’s about Jamil”
“Yeah, Jamil is a really good with a good sense of humour and…”
“Jamil is my ex-boyfriend”
I heard a loud bang when she said that.
“What?”
“Yes,he is my ex-boyfriend,we dated back in college”
“Are you for real?”
“Yes and there is more,he was the one who was sending the chocolates”
“How do you know that?”
“Because anytime he sends the chocolate,he always attached a note that says Palm Springs”
“Palm Springs? What’s that?”
“It’s a restaurant named Palm Springs, that’s where i and Jamil first met”
“But why would he send you those chocolate if he knows that you are taken”
“Maybe he doesn’t know”
“Come on,Ky, everyone in the business world knows you and i are a couple”
“I just have to talk to him,he and I broke up on mutual basis,he was actually my first love and he was the that took my..”
“I don’t want to hear it,why didn’t you tell me when he was here?”
“Because i know how you get when you are angry,you don’t think”
“I don’t think? There is a possibility that Jamil still loves you and am not letting him take you away, infact am cancelling our contract”
“No,you can’t,you said it was a big deal for your company”
“I don’t care,am not giving Jamil the chance to see you,no wonder he was looking at you that way, like he wanted to eat you”
“But i still think i should explain things to him”
“Babe,No,i won’t let you”
“I just want to talk to him, Please,Danny”
“Okay,fine”
