I paced around the living room after seeing the news, Alec and Julian?
Unbelievable!, Strangely I feel shattered though I dunno why, I shouldn’t be feeling this way about this news but I just can’t control it…I’m sad!
I rubbed my hands together in frustration as the door opened and Tessa entered with Tamara
Annyeong Mrs Yvonne (hello Mrs Yvonne)” Tessa said and they bowed
“Tessa, Tamara!” I exclaimed and hugged them both
“How has Silverado been so far?, Hope everything is fine?” I asked, still nervous as a result of the news I just heard
“Everything is fine, but are you ok ma’am?” Tamara asked as we took our seats
“I’m ok” I lied and tried hard to concentrate
“I brought my dad” Tessa said
“Really?, Where is he?”
“The naughty Machine is still interrogating him” Tamara replied as he came in…my eyes widened
“Mr Robert Romero?, Aren’t you Alec’s driver?” I asked
“Yes, ma’am” he replied
“I see, hope working with him is not too stressful?”
“It is but I just have to scale through it” he replied
“That’s true”
“And thanks a billion for enrolling my daughters here in your school” he said and is about to kneel but I stopped him
“Kajima (don’t do it)” I said and smiled
“I’m really grateful” he said
“It’s worth it, your daughters are awesome!, Wait, I think only Tessa is your daughter?”
“Yes but Tamara here is also like a daughter to me” he replied
“Oh I see”
“Thanks madam”
“Should I tell the maids to fix something for you?” I asked
“No madam, we’ll be on our way” he replied
“Yes ma’am, but where’s Nicky?” Tamara asked
“She went for a sleepover at a friend’s place” I replied as I led them out
Not more than ten minutes after they left, Olly came over
“Omma!” He said as we hugged
“Uri addel (my son)”
“Mum you’re heart broken aren’t you?, You feel shattered, you’re shocked huh?”
“I am, I can’t deny it, he disappointed me”
“He said he’s getting married to her” he said and I disengaged
“It’s ok son, Don’t be too sad, da kinchana (I’m ok)”

“I feel like we should have told her we heard about the News and comfort her, she’s obviously shaking” I said, bothered about madam Yvonne
“It’s ok, just let’s hope for the best” dad said
“She’s a good person” Tamara said
“Sure” I replied and smiled

The next day, I went to sweep the GOLD classroom as usual and surprisingly, cranky Olly is not there
I should finish this quickly and just go
Not more than two minutes, the door opened… it’s Tamara
“I think I told you I can do it alone” I said
“Don’t you dare refuse my help, I also want to see how the GOLD classroom looks like” she said and winked
“Silly” I muttered as she took the napkin to wipe the slates
“The class is clean, is there even anything to sweep?” Tamara asked
“I know right?, But this jerk won’t let me go” I replied as someone entered…. Dino!
He looked at me first before looking at Tamara, for almost two minutes, he kept staring at her
I coughed and he took his seat
“Let’s go” I said and pulled Tamara out of the class
“Did you see how he stared at you?” I asked
“No, I was shy to look him in the face” she replied
“He’s your crush isn’t he?” I asked
“Don’t ask me when you already know” she snapped and pouted

“Is she not coming out today again?” I asked Sona as we stayed in front of Becca’s room
Since she came back from her mum’s place yesterday, she has been crying in her room
“Becca chebal (please), come out, you can’t stay in there forever!” I yelled as Sona banged at her door but it’s useless cos she won’t come out
“You guys should go to school and leave me alone!!!” She yelled from inside and that almost Bursted our eardrums

Sona went to class Immediately we got to school but I searched for Tessa and Tamara at the junior class and I found them
“Berry!” Tessa exclaimed
“You’re here” Tamara said, beaming with smiles
“You didn’t come to watch our performance yesterday” I said.
“We’re sorry, it’s our part time…
“So you can’t leave your part time job for one day cos of me?” I asked jokingly
“We’re sorry” Tamara replied with that guilty look
“It’s ok, here” I said as I handed them hamburgers
“Thanks” they replied
“Be ok” I said before leaving

I got to class and sat down quietly, I’m in a sad mood and this is not the time to talk
“Olly are you ok?” Loretta asked
“Dude are they really getting married?” Garrett asked
“If that happens then you’ll become Becca’s step brother” Dino said
“Kimani!(stop!)” I yelled
“Olly…
“I’m hurt right now, I’m hurt cos mum is hurt!, Mum is sad and I hate seeing her sad!, I hate this kind of situation and you’re aware!, Guys please!” I yelled
“What do you plan to do?” Loretta asked
“I nothing, it’s not like I can stop him” I replied

“Juicy Juice!, Juice is here!” I and Tamara yelled as we ran up and down the road to sell juice this evening
Since we joined the school, we only sell in the evenings after school
“I’m so tired” I said, yawning loudly.
“Me too” Tamara replied as a car stopped by …
A man that looks like a guard came down
“My boss asks for a pack of juice” he said
“Chunma? (Really?)
“Deh (yes)” he replied as Tamara handed me a pack of juice
I took it to the car and Immediately, the tinted windows were winded down and I came face to face with him… Olly!, He has that smug little smile on his face
My arms dropped and the pack of juice almost fell off
“Are you surprised?, Unbelievable! A juice seller in Silverado?, Incredible!, Just how on Earth did you get there?” He asked
“Then what?, Wae?” I asked
“It’ll make a good headline tommorow at the school website” he said and one of his guards took a picture of me holding the pack of juice
He drove off with his guards and I squinted
“What do we do?” Tamara asked
“I really don’t care” I replied
? Becca ?
I came out of my room today and decided to go to school, staying indoors like this won’t solve anything
I just have to accept fate though it’s hard but
..
Sona and berry left already… I took my bath and did all the necessities before going downstairs
I have no appetite so I decided to take juice
I opened the fridge and took a bottle
Immediately, I remembered the girl I once spilled her juice and smiled…wait!!!, Now I remember!, Isn’t the girl the same person as Tessa?, The new rude junior student?, How on Earth did a commoner get into Silverado?, And she’s acting noble??, Well it’s all over cos I’m posting it on the school website
I picked my phone to post but I guess someone is helping already

? Tessa Romero the new junior student is a commoner, a juice seller at that, how the hell did she get in here???

I intentionally went to the school late today cos I know I’ll be in a big mess
We don’t even have a phone to check the website cos I know it’ll be there by now
“Don’t be scared” Tamara said as we entered the school
“I’m not” I replied as we walked side by side into the school
The picture Olly clicked yesterday was pasted round the school with Commoner written in bold letters on it
Tamara held my hand
“I’m ok” I said as students gathered around and asked questions
“Hey Tessa, how the hell did you get here?”
“You’re a commoner?”
“A juice seller?”
“You’re a lowlife in case you dunno”
I folded my fist as I tried to keep in my anger, it won’t take more that five minutes to knock them all out but I still want to go to school
And Olly, I wish I could snuck life out of him right now but he’s Mrs Yvonne’s son
I gathered some courage and spoke
“So aren’t commoners humans?” I asked
“They’re out of our cliche” one student replied
“Hey Tessa, consider yourself dead today” Becca said, coming into the circle
“Sure” Sona added, appearing behind her
“Throw the water colours at her!!!” Becca ordered and they started throwing water colours from nowhere on my clothes
Tears almost fell but I held them, I’m a strong girl, I can’t cry
I looked over at Tamara and she’s crying already
They continued wetting me with the colours and by now, my uniform and myself Is a mess, even my hair and backpack, you won’t even know it’s me
Suddenly, Loretta and Berry came and took me outta there
