I and Berry took her to the washroom where we helped her wash up
“You’re really a strong girl, not even a single tear” Berry said
“I like your spirit” I said and she smiled, coming out of the small bathroom with only her underwear on, it’s not entirely stained
Her friend rushed in with her sports wear
“Tamara” she called and hugged her
“Chunma Biane (I’m really sorry), I couldn’t stop them from bullying you” Tamara said as they hugged
“Kinchana (it’s ok), it’s not your fault” she replied and took the wear, she put it on and faced I and Berry
“Loretta sunbae, Berry sunbae, kumawo (thanks)” she said and bowed
I hugged her tightly
“I’m sorry Olly made this happen” I wishpered
Berry hugged her too
“I’m sorry Becca is part of this” she said
“Kinchana sunbae (it’s ok senior)” she replied and left with Tamara
I faced Berry
“I never knew you’re this kind” I said
“Well I can’t help it, I can’t stand seeing injustice” she replied and I hugged her

I got to class and Dino and Garrett are doing what I planned to do already
“Olly honestly this is too Petty, how can you post that shit on the website, even with her picture?” Dino asked Olly who keeps pressing his phone
“But it’s true” Olly replied
“Even if it’s true, is it a crime to be a commoner?, Do you think it’s their wish to be poor?, I know you’re angry at your dad but you shouldn’t take out your anger on her” Garrett asked furiously
“Well I really don’t care” Olly replied and wanted to go out
“You’re worse than I thought” I said to his face
He looked at me somehow before going out
I sighed heavily
Garett and Dino left the class

“I hate what you did, so your coming to school today is to do this to the poor girl huh?” I asked Becca
“Oh please, kimani Berry, kimani (stop!), Have you ever been Happy with whatever I did?, It’s always complaints and I’m used to it so just screw it!” She spat and threw her hair behind her back

“Complete that statement” she demanded
“Not now” I replied and left the class despite the fact that the ethics teacher is just entering

“Doh kinchana? (Are you ok?)” Tamara asked as we got to class
“Dah kinchana (I’m ok)” I replied and sniffed
“Are you cold?” She asked
“I’m really ok” I replied though I’m feeling a little cold as a result of the cold water colours
“Settle down everyone” the ethics teacher said, coming into the class
She gave me one weird look before concentrating

I stood up, slightly shaking
“Your continuous assessment is the best, you topped the class in all the assignments since you joined the school last week” she said and I gave a weak smile
“Keep it up and don’t be discouraged, you deserve to be in this school”
“Thanks ma’am”
“By the way, the principal requests to see you” she said
“Will you be ok?” Tamara asked and I nodded before leaving the class

The ethics teacher left the class after fifteen minutes of teaching, I need to use the restroom
I walked out of the class and went there, after finishing business, I feel lonely without Tessa
I decided to go to the swimming hall, getting there, I met a guy, his back at me
“Who’s he?” I asked myself as I walked closer to him, I think he didn’t feel my presence cos he’s wearing headphones but his hair from the back looks a lot like Dino’s
“Chogio (excuse me)” I said but I guess he didn’t hear me
“Iboshio!!! (look here!!!)” I said a little bit louder
He faced me and my intuition was real, it’s Dino!, I find it hard Immediately to face him
“Bo? (What?)” He asked, standing up to face me, I kept looking at the ground
“Em…I..I…I mean, I wanted to….
He laughed out loud when he noticed I’m stammering
“Are you nervous?” He asked
“Ani(no)” I replied
“Then why are you staring at the ground?”

“See?, I’m not a ghost you know, look at me” he said and I managed to do so
He’s smiling, revealing his dimple.. g©sh that’s my weak point, his dimple!
He dipped his hands in his pocket
“You’re Tessa’s friend right?” He asked and I nodded nervously
“Then can you tell her something for me?” He asked

“Tell her GOLD is sorry for what happened earlier” he said
“Oh, I’ll do that” I replied, still shaking
“And it’ll be more pleasant if you can stop being fidgety, we can talk as friends, arachi? (ok?)” He said and I nodded again
He smiled again before leaving
I held my heart, I can feel it’s palpitations, it’s like it’ll Burst…Dino just talked to me, I should celebrate this!!!
I ran all the way to the principal’s office to wait for Tessa

Olly can be so annoying, why would he take our her anger on the poor girl??, Gosh!
I entered the gymnastics hall and received comments as usual

I changed into my exercise wear in my private Changing room
Coming out of the room, I came face to face with Berry, she looks surprised too

“I’m..I’m fine” she replied hastily and wanted to walk away but I pulled her hand back and took her into my private Changing room
I pinned her to the wall
“What…what are you doing?” She asked, trying to avoid my eyes as our faces are almost touching
“Why did you use my picture as your wallpaper?* I asked and her face went pale with embarrassment
“Do..do..do I need permission to use your picture as my wallpaper?” She asked
“You know if you’re one of my fans, I won’t bother but you’re also a celebrity like me” I said, looking at her though she kept her face down
“I’m sorry if it angered you” she quivered
“Ani, it didn’t, just that I’m surprised” I said
“Oh…. it’s because… because…atesso(forget it)” she said
“Because what?” I probed
She looked at my face for the first time, and brought her face close to mine, she pecked my cheek
“That should be enough for an answer” she said as I released my grip on her
She ran out
I touched my cheeks and smiled
Silly, who would know I also used her picture as my wallpaper!
“Yes!” I exclaimed happily

“I think I told you to attend this school like you don’t exist, what’s the meaning of all that ruckus in the morning?” Principal asked
“I did but Olly found out about my juice bussiness” I replied, shaking badly, I think I caught the flu cos I’m feeling too much cold
“Are you ok?” He asked and I nodded softly
“Kinchana” I replied
“Be more careful from now on and make sure this doesn’t repeat itself” he said
I just wish I have enough strength to talk to him right now cos he’s behaving as if I’m the one at fault
I left his office and met Tamara, waiting outside
“Tessa!, Big news!, Dino talked to me today!” She exclaimed happily bit I can’t even see her well, my eyes are becoming blurry
“Tessa he asked me to say sorry to you on the behalf of GOLD” she said again but I suddenly started loosing control

“Tessa!, Tessa!” I called as she fell into my arms but she’s unconscious
The principal came out and called for the ambulance immediately…

“She caught the flu, but she’ll be ok” doctor said after Tessa has been admitted
“That’s a relief” I replied as Tessa’s dad Rushed in
“How did you know?” I asked
“The principal called me, you filled my phone number in your files remember?”
“Oh krojo(that’s right)…. she’ll be ok soon, she just caught the flu” I said as he took Tessa’s hand and rubbed it
“Don’t be sad” I said and he nodded

I intentionally followed them to the hospital cos I was curious about what happened, she might just be pregnant cos I know she’s a bitch!
But it turned out the other way round when I saw her dad, Robert Romero?, Chairman Alec’s driver?, I recognize him well!
Olly’s dad driver?, Jackpot!
I picked my phone and dialled Olly’s number, don’t be surprised..we have each other’s number as celebrities either we hate each other or not, he picked after several rings

I hanged up and smiled before leaving

I dialed dad’s number to confirm what I just heard

I hanged up and smiled satisfactorily…. jackpot!!!

“Don’t scare me like that again” Tamara said as she came to call me for school today
I’m not feeling too well but i just want to go to school…I was discharged late yesterday cos I demanded for it
“I’m sorry for scaring you” I said weakly
“Are you sure you can manage?” She asked
“Dad asked me not to go to school before leaving for work but you know I can’t do it, let’s go” I replied and he smiled
I mounted my bicycle
“We’ll start taking it to school from today since they know we’re commoners already, though I doubt if they know about yours” I said
“It doesn’t matter” she replied as I pedalled off

We got to school and another surprise is waiting for us
Papers were pasted around the school with “TESSA THE COMMONER IS MY FATHER’S DRIVER DAUGHTER” written on them
I knew it immediately that it’s Olly again
I started removing the papers and this time around, I can’t stop my tears…I’m really crying
“You think removing them will do it?, It’s allover the school website” Becca said, coming with Sona behind her, she showed me the post on the school website on her phone
“I won’t take this anymore” I said in tears
“What are you gonna do?” Becca and Sona asked simultaneously
“Tessa… Tamara called
“I’ll be back” I said as I ran wildly to the GOLD classroom
Loretta, Garrett and Dino are all over Olly, rebuking him I think.
“Are you here to sweep?” Olly asked
I ran to him furiously and gave him a resounding slap before grabbing him by his collar with tears in my eyes…
“Why are you doing this to me wae!!!!!!” I yelled
