She stared on with widened eyes, I guess she wasn’t expecting it, was I too forward???
“I’m sorry but if you’re not ready, I’ll wait” I said
“Who told you I’m not ready when I’ve been waiting for all these days to hear this? ” She asked
” Oh really? ” I teased though I know she’s saying the truth
“Come here” she said and hugged me as the audience shouts tripled
It almost brought down the hall
Sam ended the song and we bowed before leaving the stage

“Do you realize how much I’ve been waiting to hear those words?” She asked as we drove home
” Now that I’ve said it, now that you’ve known, what should we do first?, Today is our day one, should we go on a date?, Like at the amusement park? ” I asked and she squinted
” Amusement park?, That is for children” she said
” Says who?, Amusement parks are always colourful and enjoyable, fun filled too” I replied and she laughed
” Lookat him being serious, ok, let’s go to the amusement park” she replied and I smiled before driving to the park
Surprisingly, we met Olly and Tessa among the group of lovers
“Hey bro, did you two fly?”
“Sure, we flew here” Olly replied and I giggled
” Have fun” Tessa said
” Sure” Loretta replied as we parted ways

I haven’t had so much fun all my life, this place is too amazing!
After having all the fun I wished for, I sat to rest while Teddy went to get ice cream
He came back with it minutes later and handed me one
“Thanks” I said
“Don’t mention” he replied
I licked the ice cream silently, not sure of what to say
“So do you like the flavor?” He asked awkwardly
“Sure, vanilla is always my favorite” I replied
“I know you’ll love it” he replied and stared at my face
“Bo? (What?)” I asked
” You have ice cream on your lips” he said
” Oh, I’ll clean them with my hanky” I replied and was about to clean it when he stopped me
“Do you mind if I help with that?” He asked
“How? ” I asked and he brought his face close to mine, he kssed my lips and currents passed through my body, I wasn’t expecting it but I responded anyways, holding unto his shirt I deepened the kss cos I’ve always wanted to do this with my lover

“I’m so happy for Loretta and Teddy” I said happily as we rode the carousel together
” Yes, isn’t it great?, We all have fallen in love except Sam who calls himself SNS” Olly replied
” Don’t worry, he’ll soon fall madly in love” I replied
“I know… So should we go ride the vomiter?”
” Yes”
” Don’t pee on your pants as a result of fear” he said and I smirked
“I think I should be telling you that” I said as we mounted the vomiter
“OMG!, It feels great!” I exclaimed happily
“I don’t think so!, I want to come down!” Oliver shouted and I started laughing
” I told you you’ll be the one to pee, coward!” I teased as he continued shouting
” Stop the thing, stop it please!!! ” He shouted and I almost laughed my ass out as one of the attendants put it off
He jumped off and helped me out too
I kept laughing
“Don’t laugh at me” he said, pouting
“Why?, What will you do if I laugh at you? ‘ I asked, giggling
“I’ll kss you right here” he replied and I covered my mouth as I ran off
“Catch me if you can” I said and stick out my tongue at him
I’ve not run more than a minute when he caught me and tossed me up, I landed back on his arms and the ponytail loosened, making my hair cover my face, he tucked it behind my ear and kissed my forehead before putting me down
“Pictures time” he said
Thank God he brought a camera, we snapped with the camera and also with our phones
We made many memories today

I pushed all the pictures lying on the table away
One of my guards just submitted it, pictures of Olly and that btch at the amusement park
“I think I should wrap this up at once, and why has Jerome not come?, Why is he delaying, it’s been three weeks now since he promised to come but no sign of him, Can someone call him for me!!! ” I yelled
” Ma’am, he called just now and said he’ll be here next week unfailingly” he replied and I sighed as my phone rang

I hanged up and sipped my wine
If his plan doesn’t make them split, then Jerome will do it

I came out of my room today looking pale and unhealthy
I’ve not been eating well and it’s affecting me
I thought of Sam again
Only God knows if he’ll be able to look at me for what I did, I mean even I am disgusted by it right now that I wished I’ve not done it
Maybe if I apologise to Tessa?, And Olly?, Will that be ok?
I saw Sona in the living room, staring at her phone and smiling
“Oh Becca, did you see the trend?
At the GOLDS performance today, they all showed off their girlfriends, Dino and Tamara, Garrett and our Berry, Teddy asked Loretta out on stage and she accepted, then Olly and Tessa! ”
“I see” I replied wryly
” So you see Becca, everything you’ve been doing is just making them come more close to each other, isn’t it high time to rethink? ” She asked
I tried to fight back my tears but couldn’t
I cried
“I feel so horrible for doing that, I feel terrible!, I’m so sorry” I mumbled silently and she hugged me
” It’s not too late to change, just turn a new leaf and apologize for your wrongdoings, accept Tessa as your step brother’s girlfriend, it won’t hurt will it?”
” I know, I’ll do just as you said, I need to get some things from the mall, I’ll just freshen up” I replied and went upstairs
I took my bath and dressed up
I saw the bruises on my neck again and sighed, I have to use muffler to cover my neck
I went back downstairs and the maids are setting the table already
“I told them to cook, you must eat before going to the mall” Sona said
” I’m ok , but I promise to eat when I come back” I replied
“You sure?” She asked and I nodded
I got out and my driver drove off to the mall
I entered and was too engrossed in though, I didn’t look at where I’m going till I bumped into someone and my muffler fell off, revealing my bruised neck
I wanted to quickly pick it up and cover my neck again but the person picked it, I looked up and it turned out to be Sam… My heart skipped a beat
I covered my neck with my hands
“What were you thinking?” He asked with that serious face
” I… I’m.. I mean, my muffler” I said awkwardly
“you mean you were thinking about your muffler?” He asked
“No I mean give me my muffler” I replied and he giggled before pulling me out of the mall to his car
“What are you doing?” I asked
“I’ll take you to the hospital, you can’t go around with your neck like this” he replied
“bo! ”
“Neh (yes)” he replied and opened his car door and threw me in
He went to my car and came back after some minutes
I told your driver to take your car home so chill” he said and hopped in
” To the nearest hospital” he ordered his driver

We got to the hospital and my neck was treated, it went back to normal and the bruises disappeared in minutes except for the scanty stubborn ones and the persistent pain though it reduced
He drove me back home and I got out of his car
“Kumawo (thanks)” I scoffed
“It’s nothing, just rebuild your manners, apologise for your wrongdoings and accept your failure, be good, it’s not too much” he said before driving away
I sat on the ground and cried

The exams week came and left like a flash, we’re through with the exams and the results will be pasted today…. Next week Friday is the graduation party!
So sad that I’ll have to leave Tessa in high school
When I’ll be in college, she’ll be in her second year here
The whole of GOLDS choose same college, I mean everyone of us will be attending the same college if we’re accepted… Well, any school will be glad to accept the GOLDS
I saw Becca once today and I strangely feel sorry cos she looks pale and thin… Is she sick?… don’t forget the school allowed her to come write her final exams and probably come for the graduation party
“You know what Sam?, By the time you’ll be bitten by the bug, you won’t be able to control it” Dino said
” It’s a lie, never!” He argued and we all laughed
” So cheers to the newest couple in the group, Loretta and Teddy!” I said and we cheered
” So who can read the table?” Dino asked
“Me” Sam replied and stood up
“Garett and Berry is equal to Ber_ett, OllyTess as we all know, Tamara and Dino is equal to Ta_No, Loretta and Teddy is equal to Lor_Ddy” Sam said and we cheered once again
It’s our last day in high school
“But Olly and Dino, Don’t you guys feel bad about leaving your girlfriends in high school?” Sam asked
” It actually doesn’t matter” I replied and rolled eyes at him
” Only God knows how I survived the last performance, you guys were busy dancing with your loved ones but I was busy singing all your parts” Sam said and we laughed at him
” Guys, what if we tell you that I and Tamara can sing?” Tessa suddenly said
“It’s a lie” I snapped
“Calm down and watch us baby” she replied and came to the middle with Tamara as they started singing

” I love you baby” Dino said and kssed Tamara right in front of us
” I won’t be left out” Olly said and pecked me on both cheeks
Teddy pecked Loretta and Garrett pecked Berry
“Are you guys trying to make me feel jealous right now?” Sam said and hugged his backpack
We laughed out loud
“So instead of we singing at the graduation party, you and Tamara will sing” Olly said
” But juniors are not allowed to attend” Tamara replied
” You both will just crash it, I know how to make you two enter, just write a beautiful song and don’t disappoint us” he replied and the door pushed open, Becca entered
We all stared at her apologetic face as she slowly came in and went on her knees
We stared at each other in disbelief
The great Becca kneeling???
“Guys I’m sorry, especially to Tessa, I’m deeply sorry,I wasn’t in my right senses then, I was blinded by stupidity” she said and started crying
I can’t watch again, she looks pitiful
I walked up to her and helped her up
“It’s ok, you’re forgiven, I forgive you” I said
” Just like that?” She asked unbelievably
” Sure, I forgive you since you’re sober and remorseful” I said and hugged her
” Don’t do that again, and I’m sorry about your neck” Olly said
” Thanks Olly” she replied
” You’re forgiven” they all said
” By the way, how is your neck?” I asked
“Thankfully, Sam helped with it, he took me to the hospital” she replied
” Really???” We all said Unbelievably, facing Sam
“It’s what I should do” he said, not looking up
” Definitely what you should do” Olly said mockingly
The bell sounded and we all rushed to the pasting board
The results are out!
They all got admitted!, What’s left is for them to pass the entrance exam..
I hugged Olly happily
“We should celebrate this with your dad” he said and I nodded
“Perfect, let’s go to my house”

” They’re still coming behind us” my driver said as he’s driving me back from work
A car gas been following us since
“Don’t worry sir, we know how to tackle them” my guards assured and told the driver to stop the car
The car was stopped and I stayed in the car while my four guards went out with their guns
Seven hefty men came out of the other car with guns also and shooting started
I don’t think this will end well and my prediction is just right, my guards were shot down and my driver too in no time
I was dragged out of the car into their car and was gagged before they drove off

“Appa!, I’m home!” I yelled as I came in with Olly but I got no answer
” Is he asleep already?, He should be back from work…
I checked his room but he’s not there, I checked everywhere with Olly but he’s nowhere to be found
I became unusually scared and quickly dialled his number but it’s switched off
My heart beat became irregular as Olly dialled his mum’s number to ask if he has left work and he was told my dad has left work an hour ago
“Olly, my dad”
“Calm down” he said, holding my shoulder but I shoved off his hands
“My dad!, He’s definitely in danger!” I exclaimed as tears streamed out of my eyes
