She got out and they handcuffed her before leaving the police station with her…
The got out of the police station and numerous reporters were standing there. Immediately they spotted Brittany, they flocked round her.
? Miss Brittany why are you being arrested?
? Today is the procedure day is that true?
? We were being told you were caught smuggling drugs out of the country is that true?
Brittany kept quiet, looking down.. The cops took her to the car as the reporters and photographs kept taking videos of her..
They got in the car and the car drove off heading to court. Brittany closed her eyes, mumbling a prayer.

RODRIGUEZ VILLA**
Oliver could be seen standing in front of a mirror while getting ready to leave for court. Hailey came and stood behind him.
He saw her through the reflection of the mirror but didn’t even bother to turn. Hailey sighed.
“Love?” She placed her hand on his shoulder.
“What do you want?” Oliver spatted.
“I’m sorry okay? You can’t blame me for reacting that way… I’ve always known there’s something really suspicious about Brittany” Hailey said.
Oliver turned to her.
“I’m the one that raised her, I know her in and out and I know she can never do such things. Take it or leave it” Oliver said and left the room.
A frown immediately settled down on Hailey’s face.
“We’ll see about that.” She muttered and turned to leave too.

HAYES VILLA**
Xavier walked into Aidan’s room and saw him getting ready.
“Where do you think you’re going to?” Xavier asked when he saw him getting ready.
“To court” He replied.
“After humiliating this family, you wanna show your face up to them?” Xavier said.
“Who’s fault is that? Mine?” Aidan scoffed and picked his coat.
Deep within him, he wants her to be proven guilty. Maybe with that he’ll cut off their engagement to her parents with ease.
He looked at his father and left without uttering a word..
Xavier frowned deeply.
“What kind of sons do I have” He spatted…

THE COURT**
The car stopped in front of the court and Brittany was brought out. As usual, there’s a crowd waiting for her.
Savannah was among the crowd. She stood there, looking at her role model with nothing but pity in her eyes..
Deep within her, she knows that Brittany is innocent. She can just feel it.
The two cops who came with Brittany, dragged her into the court. Oliver turned from where he was sitting and sadness filled his eyes when he saw Brittany.
Hailey scoffed silently when she saw the look in Oliver’s eyes. She immediately turned front. Valerie watched as Brittany was taken to the front with nothing but confusion in her eyes.
“Let the procedure begin” The magistrate said.

T~MODELING AGENCY**
Savannah got out of the cab in front of the agency. She went in with a sullen look on her face.
She doesn’t want to attend the procedure, maybe she’ll just hear the final decision later. She can’t stand seeing her role model in such a pathetic way.
She brought out her phone and dialed Connor’s number but he isn’t picking up.
“Answer your call fóol!” She snapped and hung up.
For two days, she hasn’t heard anything from him and truth be told, she’s worried…
“Are you Savannah Addison?” A male said.
She turned to him and nodded.
“I’m Evan, your manager. Nice to meet you” He stretched his hand.
“The pleasure is mine” She accepted the handshake.
“Cool, please follow me.” He said and she obeyed.
“Uhm… Is Kenneth here?” Savannah asked.
“Huh?” Evan muttered.
“Sorry, uhm I just wanted to know if Kenneth Gustavo is here” Savannah said.
“Oh no.. He went for the procedure with Miss Ruby” He replied.
“Oh, I see” Savannah muttered and bit her lips.

THE COURT**
People left the trial room to take a break. A 10 minutes break was given.
Brittany walked out with the cops tailing behind her, she wasn’t longer handcuffed.
“Dad..” She exclaimed when she spotted Oliver.
Oliver rushed to her and they hugged.
“How are you feeling?” Oliver asked
“I’m good” Brittany smiled lightly.
She looked at her right and saw Aidan standing there on his own.
“Dad, I’ll be back” She said and left his side then went to Aidan.
“What are you doing here?” She said coldly.
“To check up on you” Aidan said.
“Get out! I don’t need you” She said harshly.
“Brittany, just let me explain things out” Aidan said.
“I don’t need your dàmn excuses..” Brittany said.
Aidan opened his mouth to speak but the cop interrupted.
“Time is over. The procedure is about to continue” The cop said.
Brittany looked one last time at Aidan before following the cops behind.

Savannah came out of the dressing room in a black gown. The gown hugged her body perfectly as it ended at the middle of her thigh, showcasing her slim figure.
“This is weird” She muttered, looking at her reflection on the mirror.
She sat down in front of the vanity table and the makeup artists began with her makeup.
Once they were done, she opened her eyes and gasped.
“Wow! Oh my… Never knew I looked this pretty!!” She muttered, looking at herself.
“Time for the photoshoot” Evan said.
She nodded and stood then followed him to the studio.
“Uhh,, what I’m I supposed to do” Savannah whispered to Evan.
“Huh? You’ve never modeled before” Evan asked, looking surprised.
Savannah shook her head and bit her lips..

THE COURT
The procedure was over so right now, they are all waiting for the final say. Oliver could be seen, holding Valerie’s hand.
Ruby sat with Kenneth and Nick while Aidan was sitting by himself. Everybody was eager to hear the final say.
The magistrate cleared his throat and the room went quiet.
“So based on the evidences brought before us, we hereby by declare Miss Brittany Rodriguez guilty and is hereby sentenced to 20 years in prison” He said and hit his hammer.
All colors drained from Brittany’s face as she heard those words.
“No…” Oliver muttered and stood up.
He looked at Brittany who was also looking at him. Tears slipped from Brittany’s eyes.
“This can’t be…” Oliver said and before they knew it, he went limp on the floor.
“Dad!!” Valerie exclaimed
“Love!!” Hailey exclaimed.
They both rushed to Oliver’s side. The whole room was already murmuring, looking worried as they came to unconscious Oliver.
“Dad!!” Brittany teared up and made to rush to Oliver but was held back by the cops..
“Let me go!! I’m innocent!! Dad!!” Brittany cried, struggling with them.
Hailey looked back at Brittany with nothing but hatred in her eyes.
“Don’t you dare come near us ever again!! I hereby disown you!! You’re no more a Rodriguez!!” Hailey yelled, faking tears..
“Take her away!!” She said to the cops and turned back to Oliver who was still unconscious.
“Dad… No” Brittany cried as she was been taken out of the court room.
Like a slow mo, she kept looking at everyone’s faces.
Valerie who was crying while looking at Oliver, Kenneth who was feeling sad for her, Ruby who gave her a disgusted look, Nick who gave her a blank look
The others who attended the procedure who were looking at her with nothing but hatred in their eyes..
And then lastly Aidan who smirked while watching her leave..
They got out and she was welcomed by the booing and jeering of the people, the people who were once her fans, people who adored her…
? ¢riminal!!
? We hàte you!!
? Good for you!!
They screamed. Some even wanted to attack her if not for the cops who held them back. Brittany walked to the car with her head down.
The door got opened and she entered before it got closed. She looked out and a tear fell from her eyes as she saw all the hatred she’s been receiving.
The car slowly took off…
