THE MORGAN’S**
Alex and Gracie were now sitting at the living room with Alex trying to read out the letters of the alphabet.
They heard the sounds of heels coming upstairs.
“Mom! I can now read-” Alex paused when he saw Brittany.
She was completely different!!
“Mom?” Alex said in surprise.
“How do I look baby?” Brittany smiled and twirled around..
“Is this really mom?” Alex asked to Gracie who chuckled.
“It’s me” Brittany chuckled.
“You look so,,, different! And more beautiful!” Alex said and smiled.
“Thanks baby, come give mommy a goodbye hug” Brittany said and Alex rushed to hug her
Almost immediately, they heard the sound of the car horn..
“Oh must be the driver boss sent” Brittany said, breaking the hug.
“Bye baby! Don’t forget to sleep early” Brittany said to Alex who nodded.
“Bye Granny” Brittany waved at Gracie who smiled.
She opened the door to the exit and left her house. Brittany was quite surprised to see Nicholas came to pick her up in person..
“You?” Brittany said, coming to him.
Nicholas who was pressing his phone while leaning on his car looked up. His mouth immediately dropped down to the floor at what he was seeing. His phone almost fell off his hand.
How is it possible to look this…this beautiful and s*xy and elegant and all in one! He didn’t even know when his heart skipped a beat.
“Boss” Brittany called and he blinked back. He didn’t even realize she was now in front of him.
“Uhm,, you look… Ethereal” Nicholas said.
“Thanks,, I know” Brittany winked.
“Remaining this..” Nicholas said and put on a mask on her face. It covered only her eyes and part of her nose.
Nicholas bought out his own and wore it too.
“Also for today, you can call me by my name” Nicholas said.
“Nicholas” Brittany said and blinked.
He opened his mouth to tell her not to call her by his full name but the way his name sounded from her was so sxy so he just nodded.
“Let’s go” He opened the door for her to enter and she did.
He got in the car and drove off…

LILLY’S RESTAURANT**
“What’s wrong Rhett? You are too quiet today” Jessica said as they cleaned the tables of the restaurant so they can go home.
“Oh its nothing… I’m just thinking” Rhett said and continued.
“Thinking? About what?” Jessica stopped and looked at him.
“Well,, it’s complicated. Jessica what will you do if a guy tells you he likes you but you don’t see her the same way and also you have a mom to take care of” Rhett asked.
Jessica placed the piece of clothing she was using to clean the tables and came close to him.
“Well,, I’ll just tell her everything” Jessica said.
“But won’t it ruin the friendship?” Rhett asked.
“Well it’ll hurt but at least you aren’t giving high hopes to the person” Jessica shrugged
“Yeah that’s true” Rhett said and sighed.
Jessica raised a brow and crossed her hand.
“Why ask? Don’t tell me someone confessed to you” Jessica said.
“Oh! No…not at all” Rhett lied.
Jessica frowned more and leaned closer to him. Rhett leaned back and he suddenly stared at her pouty lips before looking back at her eyes.
“You sure” Jessica said.
Rhett gulped down and quickly nodded. Jessica shrugged and pulled away.
“Okay, if you say so… C’mon get back to work, I wanna go home. I’m hungry” Jessica said and resume work.
Rhett looked at her and shook his head before resuming work.
“What was I about to do?” He said inwardly.

HAYES VILLA**
Unlike other days, the house was so rowdy with people walking around. Reporters, photographers were everywhere interviewing the celebrities who came and also taking pictures and videos of them.
Each and everyone of the guests were dressed fancily and richly, either wearing red or black. They all had their masks on..
Nicholas’s car drove in and parked by. Nicholas was the first one to come out and he went to open the door for Brittany to come out.
She hugged his left arm and looked up at him, Nicholas was staring at her too. He smiled and looked away.
Reporters and photographers all rushed to them. Even with the mask on, everyone could still recognize Nicholas.
? Mr Nicholas how do feel about today being your brother’s birthday party
? The rumors has it saying that you and Aidan Hayes aren’t in good in good terms.
? Who’s the pretty lady with you? Are we expecting a new couple in town or is it just an acquaintance.
? Rumors has it saying that you once dated Sandy Garrett, the popular music producer also known as Aidan’s girlfriend. Is it true?
Nicholas just smiled.
“All your answers will be answered later” He said and left with Brittany.
“These reporters will never change. So nosy and curious” Brittany said and Nicholas chuckled..
“Happy birthday Aidan”
“Happy birthday Mr Hayes”
“Long life and prosperity to you”
Aidan smiled and waved at all those who wished him happy birthday. He was putting on a red suit, looking really hot and handsome.
Beside him stood Sandy, she was putting on a long red off shoulder gown too, bringing out her sxiness and curves. She packed her hair in a neat bun with some some stands falling on both side of her cheek.
“Happy birthday Aidan” A man walked to him and they hugged.
“Greetings Sandy”
“Thanks George” She replied with a smile.
Well george is a very good friend of Aidan..
“Wow you both look so good even with those masks on. I’m sure you two will be the spotlight of today” George said
“Well it’s my birthday” Aidan said and he laughed heartily.
The three of them began discussing when suddenly murmurs began filling the hall. Everyone were looking at a particular direction while murmuring.
Aidan followed their line of vision and his mouth immediately dropped wide open.
His eyes wasn’t even focused on Nicholas but on the lady with him, how can someone abuse beauty like this?
“Aidan” Nicholas smiled when he got to them.
He looked at Sandy and she quickly looked away. She was busy staring at him earlier. Nicholas was putting on a black suit and his hair was styled differently, making him look s*xy.
“Oh.. Nick,, you came” Aidan forced a smile and stylishly looked at Brittany.
Thankfully due to the mask, Aidan couldn’t see her face. The way she was glaring at him right now was able to bring down this whole house down.
“Son” Xavier smiled and walked to them.
He hugged Aidan before hugging Nicholas. He smiled politely at Brittany and gave Sandy a blank look.
“Happy birthday son.. I’m so proud right now, seeing my two sons together gives me so much joy” Xavier said.
Aidan smiled widely while Nicholas rolled her eyes. Brittany looked at him, she began doubting if this man was really guilty because he didn’t even look that way.
“If he isn’t then that means…”
Brittany’s heart skipped a beat. Just the thought of her going back to prison was enough to sadden her.
“Nick” A feminine voice called and came to them.
They all turned to see Valerie coming to them. She couldn’t hide the jealousy in her face when she saw Nick with another woman.
“Val,, you came” Nicholas smiled and she nodded.
“Wow! Who’s this beauty with you here. She looks like a fallen angel.. Who’s she Nick?” George asked.
“Well I’m-”
“She’s my girlfriend” Nicholas cut Brittany off..
It took all the strength in Valerie for her not to faint. Aidan and Sandy looked quite shocked too, Xavier wasn’t left out.
Brittany was the most shocked of them all. She looked up at Nicholas, giving him the ‘what the fk are you saying’ look but he wasn’t looking at her.
“G..Girlfriend?” Valerie stuttered and Nicholas nodded.
“Wow, I’m glad to see you move on” Aidan finally spoke and Sandy eyed him.
Nicholas faked a smile and nodded.
“We started dating two weeks ago” Nicholas said.
“If you’ll excuse us..” Nicholas said and left before the others could ask for her name.

“Ashley… I told you I don’t wanna come right?” Savannah said.
“It’ll be fun!” Ashley said
Well Savannah was busy watching a movie when Ashley barged in her house. She forced her to get ready and literally dragged her here.
“But… I don’t wanna see your brother” Savannah said.
Well she told Ashley about her feelings for Kenneth and everything that happened.
“Oh please! I’m sure he’ll be so engrossed with Ruby” Ashley said.
They were both putting on gorgeous black gowns, looking like models.
“Ape..”
Ashley turned and frowned when she saw Evan coming to them.
“Evan” Savannah smiled and waved.
“Wow! Monkey you look so much like your name” Ashley said.
“Thanks, same to you stúpid goat” Evan flicked her forehead.
“Hey! We’re in a fancy party but I don’t mind beating you up” Ashley said showing her fists which were tiny to Evan.
Savannah just chuckled. She wouldn’t be surprised if these two starts fighting, it’s their hobby.
“So, I’ll be right there Ashley” Savannah said and left.
She went and settled down on a seat. A waiter came and offered her wine which she gladly took and sipped on it.
“Savvy..”
Savannah looked up to see Kenneth. He came and sat down next to her. She immediately looked away and sipped on her drink.
“Savannah, I need to tell you something important. Can we talk later?” Kenneth said.
“Please I don’t want troubles with your girlfriend” Savannah said.
“But Savvy-”
Savannah stood up and walked to a random guy and held his arm.
“Mind if we keep ourselves company?” She smiled and left with the guy.
Kenneth sighed and took her drink then drank from it before running his hand through his hair.

“Girlfriend!! Seriously!! Girlfriend!!” Brittany ranted angrily when they got to a secluded area.
“Calm down… Why are you that angry?” Nicholas asked.
“That wasn’t the plan that we made!!” Brittany yelled.
“We didn’t even make any plans” Nicholas shrugged.
“But still… You should have asked me!”
“It’s just a plan,, not like it’s real” Nicholas said and held her chin, leaning closer.
“Unless you wanna make it real” He said se.ductively.
Brittany sI.apped his cheek lightly and pvshed his face away.
“Your stupid se.duction won’t work on me” Brittany scoffed and left.
“Stupid? My se.duction is stupid? Hey how dare you! Every woman gets wet just by my mere touch!” Nicholas said loudly, going after her.
