N~HAYES INVESTMENT**
His worker clapped for him as he finished his short exposé.
“Thank you” Nicholas smiled and sat down on his seat.
“Wow boss seem to be particularly happy today” One of his workers blurted out.
On the norms Nicholas could have fired him for meddling in what doesn’t concern him but this time Nicholas just smiled.
The meeting ended 15 minutes later and everybody began leaving for their offices. Nicholas began heading to his office.
On his way, he brought out his phone to call Brittany but stopped when he remembered that she left just three hours ago so he texted her.
**WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY? MIND IF I PICK YOU UP FOR DINNER**
Two minutes later, Brittany replied.
**I’M CURRENTLY WITH A FRIEND… LET’S MEET UP TONIGHT, 7PM**
Nicholas immediately began typing..
**SURE I’LL PICK YOU UP. LOVE YOU**
He kept his phone when he got to Yvonne’s office.
“Boss” She smiled prettily.
“Are the files I asked you to work on ready?” Nicholas asked.
“Yes boss.. I kept it on your table” She replied.
He simply nodded and went in his office. Yvonne stared at him till he went in. She giggled and smiled to herself.
“He’s so handsome.. No wonder Brittany seduced him” She said and scoffed.
The truth is that she doesn’t like Brittany right from when she was still a model. When she heard she got jailed, she was one of those who were so happy for it.
Now when she heard that she got released and was dating Nicholas who’s her celebrity crush, that maddened her.
Now that they broke up, she’s gonna try her luck too..
Yvonne smiled and supported her cheek with her hands, day dreaming about Nicholas.

Brittany kept her phone when she finished texting with Nicholas. Honestly, all these feel so weird to her.
She was dating someone for real this time and the person actually loves her for real!
“So here’s my house. I live here with my grandma, son, daughter and sister” Brittany said.
“Wow! This place is so nice.. I’m so happy I get to finally see a real house after so many years!!” Reagan exclaimed happily.
She opened the door and Reagan went in first before she followed.
“Oh Britt? You’re back home early” Gracie said, coming from the kitchen.
She stopped when she saw Brittany with a lady.
“Granny this is Reagan my..”
“OMG!! Reagan!! Brittany talked so much about you, I’m glad you’re finally free” Gracie said and went to hug Reagan who smiled.
“Thanks Madam” Reagan smiled and hugged her back.
“Call me Granny. Everyone here calls me that” Gracie said.
“Okay… Granny” Reagan smiled.
“So since Alex sleeps with Angel, there’s still a spare room here.
I’ll go get it ready for you and after that we can go shopping for your clothes” Brittany said, going upstairs.
“Hum.. First you leave the house in the middle of the night just to come back in the morning,, now you’re unusually happy and talkative.. Who did you go to visit?” Gracie said.
“Granny!!”
Reagan chuckled..

POLICE STATION**
“Don’t worry dad, I made sure to get the best lawyer for you.. Your trial will be in two days from now, everything will be alright dad..” Aidan said.
Xavier was sitting in front of him with both hands handcuffed. He held a furious look on his face.
“I’m getting out of here.. And I’ll make sure that Brittany regrets ever messing with me” Xavier spatted angrily.
“But you were the one who started it. If you didn’t give Hailey the drugs, he wouldn’t have framed Brittany and all these wouldn’t have happened” Aidan saids.
Xavier glared at him.
“So now you’re defending her?”
“I’m just doing what you told me to do. You asked me to love her and my son” Aidan said calmly.
Xavier sneered and looked away.
“I already launched our location B since they found out about location A. The deals are already going smoothly like nothing happened.” Aidan said.
Xavier finally smiled.
“At least I’ve heard something good today.. Make sure you keep the business going till I’m out of here” Xavier said and Aidan nodded..
“Brittany.. Brittany… Just you wait and see” Xavier said inwardly and smirked.
