“So what’s your name?” I asked her.
“I’m Amb… I’m Viviana”
“Nice name, and your parents?”
“Dead”
“Sorry about that, come with me” I said and she followed me to my car which I opened for her to enter.
I horned for a while before the gate keeper opened the gate cos he knew it was me.
I and Viviana entered my multi billion mansion and I packed my car in the garage and came down. She opened the door herself and came down too and just couldn’t stop looking at the house.
“Your home is really beautiful sir” she said.
“Thanks, come with me. I’m sure my wife would be happy to see you, and that’s if she’s not asleep yet”
“Okay”
And I held her wrist and led her to the front door which opened by itself and we both entered inside the house,the sitting room to be precised.
“Sit here while I go check up on her”
“Okay sir”
“Pls don’t call me that, I’ll prefer to be called Alfredo”
“Yes sir…. Sorry Alfredo”
“Yeah, so make your self comfortable”
“Okay”
“Yeah”
And I left her there to go check up on Nicky whom I’m sure might be asleep now. I got to our room and opened the door.
To my surprise she wasn’t asleep she was laying on our bed while watching a movie.
“Hey” I said and walked towards her to give her a hug.
“You returned late. I was so worried and I even called you but you didn’t pick up” she said with a frown.
“Sorry about that love,I was really busy at the office and I also attended a conference in Canada”
“Today?”
“Yep, sorry for not informing u”
“Its nothing, well thank God you’re back”
“Yeah, I want you to meet someone”
“Who?”
“A lady!”
“A lady?”
“Yeah, I saw her distressed and lost. She was sitting in front of our house and I decided to help”
“That’s so nice of you. So where’s she?”
“In the sitting room, come see her” I said and helped her to her feet.

Alfredo helped me to the sitting room where I saw the strange girl sitting on a couch.
Her skin I must say is really as white as snow and her appearance was quite shabby but it didn’t hide her beauty.
Her beauty really triggered a jealousy in me cos I knew Alfredo is a ladies man or maybe he was a ladies man and he might fall for her. And I really don’t want that.
“Nicky, meet Viviana. Viviana, this is Nicky my beautiful wife” Alfredo said.
“Hi” the girl said coldly.
“Hello, welcome to our home Viviana”
“Thanks” she said.
“So are you hungry” I asked.
“Not really, thanks for your care and concern” she said.
“No problem”

Viviana narrated her life story to us which was a sad one, from when she lost her dad, to her mum and the sexual abuses she faced and till when she was raped.
It was indeed a touching story and I pitted her so much. It’s hard to face such tragedy especially at a young age.
She was 12 when she was raped and she also said she reported the case to the authorities but no one listened to the tears of a poor orphan like her self??
“Sorry you had to face such tragedy” Alfredo said and wiped the tears that was about to come out of his eyes.
I never knew he could be this emotional, her story really went deep into his heart.
“It’s okay, everything has a good reason, like some say”
“Yeah” I said.
“Thanks for letting me stay in your house. I’ll always be grateful, no one have ever shown me such mercy before”
“We’re happy to have helped”
“Yeah, thanks I appreciate”

“And I have gotten what I wanted, PITY!
Alfredo and that stupid girl he married really did fall for my lies. Now I have their trust and pity, I’ll be able to repay them what they did to me.
Especially Nicky, she took my man and I’ll make her suffer for that….
And I really love my new look, I’m more beautiful now and no one will ever suspect anything.
I look so different and there’s no trace or sign of Amber in me, Amber is dead, this is Viviana, the wtch
I’ll so deal with the both of them, of course not Alfredo. Only Nicky!!!

And how I got their present location was really difficult but i still got it.

Alfredo has left for work as usual leaving me with Viviana.
I was in the sitting room watching a movie when I felt a sharp pain in my tummy which made me scream loudly.
It might have been the babies kick or something but the pain died down immediately.
I became really tasty and I was about to go get a drink when I saw Viviana coming downstairs.
“Thank God you’re here, I need your help with something. Pls help me with a glass of water”
“And do I look like your maid, or errand girl. What do you take me for? One of your servants” she yelled.
“Viviana?”
“Oh shut it” she said and it made me surprised.
“I only asked for water, the servants are on their day off”
“Then get it yourself, you’re just pregnant and not crippled” she said and left.

“What just happened?” I asked myself.

Throughout that day Viviana kept displaying some rude and arrogant attitudes towards me. She even called me names. And she almost got into a fight with me for no reason…?
Everything made me speechless and surprised?

As soon as Alfredo returned from work I told him everything but he just didn’t believe me.
“I’m serious, that’s what happened”
“I don’t think Viviana could do all this. She’s and orphan and must have gone through a lot in life”
“Really? you have to believe me”
“Okay, I’ll just call her and question her if that’s okay”
“You seriously don’t believe me” I said but he said nothing and called her instead.
“Viviana, my wife here said you exchanged words with her today and you called her names and insulted her too. Is that true?”
She looked at me and then to Alfredo with innocence.
“No I didn’t. How would I do all that to the person that took me in. In fact she was the one that called me names.
She called me an orphan and even wanted to slap me when I mistakenly spilled water on her during lunch” she lied and started crying.
“Nicky? How could you?”
“Alfredo are you gonna buy those lies, it’s obvious she’s lying”
“Shut it Nicky, you know she’s not emotionally straight” he yelled and went towards her and consoled her.
“Alfredo, she’s lying”
“I said you should shut up” he yelled. And then wrapped his hands around her trying to stop her from crying.
What else did I expect?
