“So doctor what’s the bad news?” I asked with a croaky voice.
“I’ll like to speak to you in private” he said to me.
“No you can say it to all of us. We’re all family”
“Okay” he said and cleared his throat a bit.
“You told me she fell on her stomach right?”
“Yes she did”
“I’m sorry but her life chances are kinda low. She’s pregnant and she falling that way resulted to the damage of her inner system especially her womb and the baby might not survive and even if it does, I don’t think the mother will.
One person has to die and that’s why I’m here. We have to get the baby out of the womb now”
“That means the child will be born prematurely?” Sarah asked.
“Yes, its our only way. We have to get the child out now and then place it in an incubator.
If it stays longer in the mothers womb then it might put not only its life but that of the mother at risk”
“Fine! Do the operation. I really don’t want anything to happen to the child or Nicky. Pls make sure nothing happens to my wife. Pls” I begged with tears in my eyes.
“We’ll try our best sir” he said and left.
“Gush” I said and fell on the chair.
“If anything happens to Nicky I don’t think I’ll be able to live with the pain” I said and tried so hard to control the tears that were about to form in my eyes.
“Control yourself Alfredo, everything would be okay” said Abner.
“No it won’t. It just wont. I can’t bear to lose Nicky or the child, especially Nicky. I just don’t wanna lose her”
“You won’t. We won’t lose her” her mum said and wiped her face.
“Nothing would happen to our sister, she’ll be fine” one of her twin brothers said.
“Son control yourself nothing would happen to her” my mum said and caressed my back.
“Yeah, I hope”

I really don’t know why her death is taking so long?
She’s meant to have kicked the bucket by now, she just can’t survive that fall.
And that stupid child of hers should just die too. Well even if they make it, I still know what to do.
Alfredo must be mine, I don’t care what it might take but he must be mine. He must.
I can’t afford to lose him forever and I know it might be hard for me to make him mine, I’m a new person now and all I have to do is to seduce him or something.

I really don’t know why I don’t trust this Viviana girl. Anytime i see those eyes of hers all I see is evil.
And I don’t know why Alfredo would even bring a stranger to his home no matter the condition he met her. She’s beautiful and that’s true but must times evil girls have the prettiest face?
Well she might not actually be evil, she might just be a lost lonely orphan with no family and relation.
Now my main concern is Nicky. If anything should happen to her I might not be able to live with that. I really do care about her and if she dies….
I don’t know what might become of me, I might end up being a loner forever. I really love her but as a friend now.

I and Viviana returned home cos she said she wanted to take a bath and then eat something cos she was tired of staying at the hospital plus its already past night hour so we decided to return.
Abner went home but promised to come to my place and stay for the mean time.
The doctor haven’t gotten the child out yet, he said that there are still some faults or things that he must figure out before the operation.
I was going to the living room and had to pass through Viviana room first before going through the stairs, then I saw something very familiar I stopped and peeked through the room since the door wasn’t completely closed.
She had just finished taking her bath and was applying a lotion. Her back was facing the door and her towel was only wrapped around her waist.
Then I saw 5 very familiar words that I’ll never forget on her skin. It was a tattoo which consisted of 5 letters….
“A….. m….. b….. e….. r”
“Amber?” I muttered silently and almost collapsed.
“Amber? Viviana can’t be Amber” I whispered.
Amber had those same tats on her skin. I was the one whom even chose the particular spot she should have that tats.
Right on her Truncus Dorsum with a red dark ink….
“Viviana can’t be Amber, she can’t”
