“It seems even your clothes wanted to grant me my wish,” he winked at her, and Evelyn hissed.
“I love you,” he blew a kiss, and Evelyn blushed.
“Love you too,” Evelyn replied as she smiled widely. He waved at her before ending the call.
She smiled and kssed her phone.
“I am thankful I met you,” she muttered to herself, smiling.
“You are making me want to go back to my younger age,” her mother said, making her flinch in shock, and then she smiled, blushing cutely.

(Somewhere in New York City)
“Boss,” a man called as he entered the room.
A man was seated with a girl dancing in front of him.
“What the heck are you doing here?” he asked angrily, and the other male bowed.
“I’m sorry to interrupt you, but this is a quite serious matter.”
“Get out,” he said to the girl who rushed out immediately.
“What is it?” he turned to the guard.
“Boss, the spy said that Martin visited Mr. Jackson, and he told him the whole secret,” the guard said, and his eyes widened.
“What the heck… darn it.”
“Sir, we are in danger now that Martin probably knows everything, and now the case is about to be brought back to court,” the guard said, and Tom’s eyes widened.
He was really terrified now that Martin knows.
“He can win this case with just a phone call.”
“Before he does that, we will get rid of him. Send men after him now,” Tom said.
“He is out of the country now. He is in the United States for a business trip.”
“Send someone after him. A man’s weakness is a woman, and no matter how much he loves his woman, he still finds other women attractive.
Send Koryn to him right now,” he said, and the guard bowed down before walking out of the room.
“You are going to regret interfering in this matter,” he gritted his teeth, shaking the table aggressively.

(Next day)
Evelyn sat on the chair staring at a particular spot.
One could tell she was anxious. Her mother was currently in surgery.
“Is mum going to be okay?” Ava asked, and Evelyn nodded, faking a smile.
“Evelyn,” She heard that familiar voice called. She turned around and met with Haris and the rest.
“Haris,” She called and hugged him tightly while the others just rubbed her shoulder softly.
At least she felt relief that Haris was here since Martin was not with her.
“How is mum?” Haris asked, and Evelyn burst into tears.
“I don’t know Haris, they have been in there for the past 6 hours but they haven’t said anything yet,” She said, crying bitterly, and Haris sighed.
“Hey,” Evelyn waved at the rest who did the same.
