Chapter 43
(Next day)
The morning sun was bright, casting warm and gentle sunlight.
Birds chirped, and a cool breeze blew, while the plants’ leaves glistened with dewdrops.
The morning dawned crisp and clear, with early risers chirping and the sun’s beams peeking through the clouds.
Birds carried out their morning rituals, and a gentle, cool breeze filled the air, enveloping everything in golden light and revealing the beauty and magic of nature and human creations, promising a new beginning.
The first rays of sunlight illuminated the room, finding their way to the sleeping couple on the bed.
Every morning holds a magical awakening, as if an ancient earth spirit seeks to unite all that is good.
Birdsong filled the air as a new day dawned, bringing with it hope and inspiration.
The morning was amazing, as the melodious chorus of birdsong drifted in, making it seem as though all the birds were joyfully flying around.
The couple on the bed remained asleep, as if in their own paradise.
Evelyn lay with her head on Martin’s chest, while his leg was wrapped around hers.
The door opened gently, revealing Haris. A smile crept onto his lips as he gazed at them, and then he sighed—a sigh of relief.
He genuinely wanted them to reconcile, and seeing them together made him incredibly happy.
“Are they dating now?” someone whispered from behind, making him flinch. He turned around only to see Ava, and he rolled his eyes before closing the door behind him.
“Hey, let’s go,” he said, taking her hand gently as they walked out of the room, leaving the couple still sleeping.
Martin groaned weakly, covering his eyes from the sunlight streaming through the open window.
Slowly, he looked at the sleeping beauty lying peacefully beside him, and he couldn’t help but smile.
He felt immensely happy and calm, as if the morning was on his side.
“Finally, I have you back,” he whispered, gently touching her face.
The words he had said last night had shocked him. He had never imagined he would say those words, but they truly came from his heart.
His heart knew how it felt about Evelyn, and he had expressed those feelings to her.
He was going ¢razy over her; he was infatuated. He had made a commitment last night.
A commitment to love her for eternity, to protect her, to be devoted to her.
He had promised to change for her, and he intended to keep that promise.
He would never lose her again.
He sighed softly, gazing at her face, unable to wipe the smile off his own.
Anyone could say he was madly in love, that he was crazy, but he didn’t care. Those feelings were real to him.
He was madly and deeply in love.
The beauty slowly opened her eyes, only to meet the smiling face of her handsome lover.
She immediately covered her eyes again, making him chuckle.
She was somewhat shy.
“Come on, Evelyn,” he said softly, and the young woman opened her eyes once more. She smiled lightly at him before sitting up.
She felt at peace with herself, happy at the mere thought of dating him again.
Butterflies danced in her stomach, unable to contain her excitement.
