Chapter 45
He scoffed and scrolled past it, but his heart wouldn’t stop racing.
“Weird, I don’t even know her,” he muttered to himself, and almost immediately, he felt a presence beside him.
He turned to the side and saw Martin sitting beside him, with Ava sitting on his lap.
“Hey, man,” Martin stretched out his hand for a handshake, which surprised Haris, but he accepted it.
“Did you guys have sx?” He whispered in Martin’s ear, who just chuckled.
He started imagining them being intimate, and he could tell he was arovsed already just by thinking about it.
OFFICE LOVE: CHAPTERS 41 – 50
Evelyn was in the kitchen frying some chicken for breakfast.
She felt someone’s hand wrap around her waist, making her flinch, but she relaxed when she saw it was Martin.
“What on earth are you doing here, Martin?” She half-yelled, and Evelyn huffed as he kssed her neck softly, causing her to shiver.
“I’ll be going home soon. My guards will be worried by now,” he said, and Evelyn sighed.
She truly felt sad that he was leaving.
“Come on, Evelyn. I can’t possibly stay here,” he said, and Evelyn sighed before nodding her head.
“I miss you, though,” he whispered in her ear and kissed her earlobe.
“Seriously, Martin? I just left a few minutes ago,” Evelyn said, trying to push him away, but he wouldn’t budge.
He turned her around and made her face him.
“Can I kss you?” he asked softly, stroking her hair tenderly, and Evelyn chuckled but didn’t reply.
“Please?” he pleaded, pouting his lips like a baby, and Evelyn stared at him for a while before slowly nodding her head, her heart racing at the same time.
She closed her eyes tightly, her heart pounding, and Martin smiled before kssing her lips gently, and Evelyn reciprocated with a gentle response.
Martin lightly nibbled on her lower lip, their lips brushing together tentatively.
Evelyn’s hands found their way to Martin’s hair, and she caressed it softly as they passionately kssed each other.
It was a kss that conveyed all their emotions, a kss that showed how happy they were to be together.
They were so lost in the moment that they forgot about the chicken on the stove.
Evelyn smelled the burning chicken, and she quickly pushed him away.
She sighed, staring at the charred chicken, and turned toward Martin, who was rubbing his lips slowly.
“I’m sorry,” he said, and Evelyn just huffed. She touched her slightly swollen lips softly, and a smile crept onto her face.
“You weren’t this romantic when we were dating,” Evelyn muttered, but Martin heard it and couldn’t help but smile.
“You didn’t understand me back then,” he replied, and Evelyn just stared at him.
She walked toward him gently and kssed his lips, leaving Martin confused and surprised.
“I really understand you, but please don’t break my heart,” she said, and Martin sighed before wrapping his arms protectively around her.
“I will never hurt you, Eve. I made those commitments a few hours ago,” he said sincerely, and Evelyn smiled, wiping away the tears forming in her eyes.
“You cry too much, don’t you?” he said in a teasing tone, caressing her face, and Evelyn just chuckled.
“I love you so much, Martin, sincerely from the depths of my heart.”
“I love you more,” he replied.
