The next morning..

“You haven’t changed anything in my room,” Cassie said to her dad.
” I still find it difficult to pack your things out, I believed one day you’ll come back to us and you did,” her dad smile.
” Am sorry dad, it took me so long to get out of that Coma. I thought i have come to the end of myself but the Montes helped me live again with a free treatment,”
” But are you sure we can trust them.. it all started this way with Kamil..
“I don’t trust anyone dad not after what I’ve been through. Am just grateful to Miguel and since he’s willing to help then we will do everything to bring down the Kendall,”
” Just be careful Cassie. I wonder how Kamil will react to this if he get to know you’re still alive,” he said.
” I will be going back with Miguel and from here I will draft out my revenge plan but I really need Ann to help me out,”
” Ann?
“How can I reach her? I really need her help,”
“I will help you with that Cassie. I can go down to her place and call her but are you sure we can trust Ann? Terri asked.
“Ann is my best friend and am sure she’ll try to help we just have to give it a try,” she said.

” We have to leave before anyone will get to see you in the neighborhood,” Miguel said while Cassie checked the time and noticed it’s 6am. Miguel is right, someone might get to see her.
“Why isn’t Uncle Terri and Ann here yet?
” Come in… What a surprise,”
She heard Terri’s voice as he walked in with Ann.
“Cassie!
Ann stood in shocked.
” Ann,” Cassie pulled her into a hug.
” You’re alive? Ann whispers.
” Very much alive and back to hunt down my enemies,” she said.
“What happened? I thought I will never get to see you again. I missed you so much,” Ann hugged her in tears.

“You live here? Is this your new house? Ann asked when they got inside.
“It’s Miguel’s, am only staying here for the main time,” she said.
” Okay, let’s get straight to the point,” Miguel said.
“Okay Ann, I seriously need your help. This time around am taking my revenge and no one can stop me,” Cassie said to Ann.
” But what actually happened to you? You haven’t told me anything. Everyone was worried about you, we thought we won’t see you again. Kamil was so devastated, poor him! Just that he wasn’t patient enough to wait, he’s already married to Audrey,” Ann explained.
” Well he acted that way because he don’t want anyone to suspect him but the truth is that Kamil is a bstard, he toil with my emotions like am just a toy to be used and dumped, he deceived me and also the people, he made me believe he loves me while he didn’t, he makes me believe he have the interest of the people at heart. It was all part of his plan with Kendall and his daughter Audrey.
I was used for their political game and after that they almost klled me,” Cassie said with so much bitterness while Ann was shocked to hear that.
“Kamil… did that to you? She asked.
” Sure,” Cassie nodded as she blink back the tears in her eyes.
“Do you know any of Kendall’s men who have been working for him for a long time? Miguel asked.
“I think i do, and those people will be of help to us but we have to be smart about it because I don’t think they’ll give us any reasonable information,” Ann said.
” And about that good for nothing Kamil I have someone we can trust” Ann said while Miguel and Cassie stared at each other…
This just the beginning of their revenge.

Audrey’s barged into his office and meet him looking so tensed.
“And what are those good for nothing people doing out there? She asked then look through the window, the few masses were hitting the gate and threatening to come in if there Mayor Kamil will not go out, the security guards were trying to stop them.
Immediately the door went open and one of the security man came in.
“Sir, the people are getting out of hand, they might break in anytime soon,” he said.
” And you will just stand and watch them! Do your job fools!! Chase them out and beat up whosoever that is acting stubborn.. go,” he ordered..
” Things are getting out of hand Kamil,” Audrey said.
“I will handle it,” he sigh
” My dad want to see you,” she said.
“Am busy,”
“Busy! But when you want his support back then you weren’t busy to meet with him? This the third time you’re declining his request to see you. Dad is sick and he just want you to handle some issues so don’t be stupid, ” she blurt out.
” Am your husband Audrey and you should show some respect for crying out loud, ” he yelled at her, filled with so much anger. His mind occupied with lots of things.
“you’re my husband and you should learn to listen to me. We are having dinner at his place tonight,” she said with finality then walked out of the office. Kamil yelled in anger as he throw the documents on his table.

A man step out of the SUV car and walked in to meet Mr Kendall.
“And where’s Dr. Mark? Kendall asked when he saw the man.
” Am sorry he won’t be able to make it here so he send me to represent him. Am Dr. Franco and here is my identity card,” Franco showed it to him while Kendall just nodded, he picked up his phone and call his doctor, their family doctor Mark to confirm if he sent the right person to attend to him.
? “Where are you? We’ve talked about it and you said you’re coming? Kendall said icily.
?Am sorry Sir, I just got an emergency..
? Emergency! Are you sure about this? He asked
? Sure.. The doctor I sent will take care of everything and give you the injections required, ” he said while Kendall hanged up the call.
” My blood pressure is high these days,” he said to Dr. Franco while he nodded then open his box.
“Dr. Mark gave me everything i need and also your health report. You’ll have to take a shot that will relief you ,” he said then gave him a shot on his left arm.

When Franco was done and out of the house, he stopped to receive a call.
?”It’s done boss,” he said into the phone.

••• Evening time @ Kendall’s Mansion

“This just an empty threat,” Kamil said as he read from the letter then dropped it on the table.
“I have so many enemies but I guess this particular one is from Harris and am very sure he’s dead,” Kendall said.
” Or maybe he’s still alive or any member of his family,” Audrey said
“That can’t be true. Roger and Craig did a very good job and they told me no one survived. They were the one I sent to burn down his house in manila,” he said.
” How can you be so sure,” Kamil stood up.
“Before this person strike we have to strike back first. And we can only do that by getting to the root of this matter, where’s Roger and Craig now? Kamil asked.
“This incident happened twelve years ago so it’s a long time. Roger died few years back and Craig has resigned working here since five years back,” he sigh.
” Then, we should get to find him and know what actually when they went to burn down the house that night, maybe someone survived and by all means we have to get rid of that person,” Audrey said.
” You should do that with Kamil,” Kendall said..

Back at home, Kamil called one of his trusted bodyguard and gave him the picture of Craig to find him with immediate effect.
” I want you to find this man,” Kamil yelled at Dave, one of his loyal bodyguard.
“Craig Hilton,”
“Okay Sir, I will,” Dave collect the picture from him then bow.

@ Dave’s Apartment…
Ann walked to his room and dropped her bag. She swirled around, Dave was surprised seeing her.
“You came? He asked.
” Of course I will, ” she smiled then sat down next to him.
She meet Dave few weeks back at the shopping mall and he got Interested in her but she turn him down even thou he kept on persisting. He told her a lot about himself of being the personal bodyguards to the Mayor and also one of his driver, but she never cared until when Cassie showed up and ask for her help. She knows getting entangled with Dave will make room for any information they need from Kamil and that’s exactly what she will do.
“Am sorry i kept turning you down for no good reason,”
“I mean every words I said Ann. I like you and you won’t regret being my girl or maybe you just don’t like me because am not your spec or probably because am just a bodyguard to the Mayor?
“No… But maybe we can just give it a try, ” she smiled.
” Really? He asked surprised.
“Sure,” she nodded. He pulled her into a hugged, feeling so excited.
“Thank you Ann,”
“First thing first.. ,”she pulled away from the hug.
“we have to get to know each other well and with that I want us to go on a date” she said.
” That’s cool, am perfectly okay with that but that should be next week because am kinda busy throughout this week.. am sorry about that,”
” And I will be damn busy next week too. What will keep you busy this week? She asked.
“My job of course, the Mayor want me to get something done” he said while she nodded.
” I have to do all means to know what he’s up to,” she said to herself…
