Cassie went back home that evening, feeling so worried. Craig hasn’t told them anything and he don’t even seems ready to speak up. Maybe they should just look for someone. She thought.
She carried her new phone and call Ann. Miguel brought her a new phone for easy communication.
?”He isn’t talking Ann, he claim to be innocent of everything we are accusing him of,”
? “The whole thing seems complicated Cassie. Dave is still searching for him because Kendall need him urgently. It seems the sins of his past is hunting him down and I guess he want to confirm from Craig if truly he has done his job well by klling the people he was asked to do. That’s what I overheard Dave saying on the phone but am just Confuse,”

” Okay I get it now Cassie,” Nadine nodded. Cassie told her all that Ann told her yesterday.
” And who knows if he was the same person that burnt down Lorenzo’s house that killed his family. We will get to the root of this but we have to make him speak,” Nadine said.
” He thinks he’s tough, well let see if he will keep on being tough if his family is involved,” Miguel said.
” Perfect plan,” she said.

“They couldn’t find him, including his family,” Kamil said to Kendall.
” Let just hope he won’t rant you out dad. He knows a lot about you already and who knows if our enemy have gotten him first,” Audrey said.
” He dare not rant me out, else we go down together. Craig knows his limit and even thou it been years we communicated I don’t think he will rant me out,” Kendall said then held his chest firmly, feeling a slight pain.
” Dad! Are you okay? Audrey quickly hold him.
” Am.. fine,” he stuttered then stood up gently.
“Get me my drugs,” he ordered and Audrey quickly left to get it for him.
“You’re just stressing yourself too much old man. I guess you should learn to fight your battle alone without involving me. Am not the one they’re threatening so fix your shit and don’t look up to me,” Kamil stood up.
” You f.ool! But am your godfather, your father in law too. I literally did everything for you in the absence of your stupid and irresponsible father. Your life would have been so miserable with your wretched mother but I decide to give you the spotlight here. I changed your life and now you couldn’t return that favor?
“I did by doing everything you want, by getting married to your daughter and using Cassandra. Remember she’s de.ad because of your evil plan. I did everything you said and now the people out there are angry with me because I wasn’t able to pay them the exact amount we’ve agreed on. I also have my burden to carry not only yours,” Kamil said and with that he angrily left.
” Such ingrate! He gritted his teeth.
” Dad! Here,” Audrey gave him his medicine.
” Where’s Kamil? She asked.
” That ungrateful husband of yours left. He’s such an ingrate,” he yelled.
“Kamil is just passing through a lot now please stop adding to his burdens,” She said.
” I see.. maybe you care more about him than your father,” he yelled then held his chest firmly and collapse to the floor.
“Dad! Audrey yelled as she quickly squat to him.
“Dad.. open your eyes..,” she said looking so scared, she can’t afford to loose her dad, not now!…
Kamil reached home in anger, thinking about what Kendall told him. He recalled his little humble beginning, when he was still growing up with his mother. It’s wasn’t easy as anyone could think because they suffered with his mom. He began to question his dad existence and his mom will only tell him his father left them for his real family, the family he so much love and not them. Even without knowing who his father was- he hated him so much. Their struggle continue and his mom would only feed them with the little money she got from stripping. Not until she later got a job in a company and from there things began to change.
Kamil meet Audrey and fell in love with her, he told her about his ambition and he was so much Interested in politics but had no one at all to help him. Audrey Introduced him to her dad and from there Kendall picked Kamil as his godson and promise to see him through whatever he need in life. Well purposely for his selfish interest just the same way he use Tomas and killed him.
“All my life I suffered rejection, I grew up a nonetity and they only time people recognize me was when I had Cassie in my life and now things seems to crumble on it own. Kendall thinks he can control me but not anymore,”
He quickly picked up his phone and called his mother.
? ” Where are you mom?
? ” Am out of town, am in Manila,” she said.
?for what?
?To get this done once and for all. To dig the root of our problem. You deserve all the good thing in life Kamil, you deserve to know your real father and to know your other family too,”
?” Am now the Mayor mom.. I have made it even without my own biological father. Whoever he is I don’t need him and if you insist to do whatever you’re thinking of doing I will kll that man myself. I don’t need anyone, I don’t need anyone in my life,” he yelled then smash his phone to the wall. He ran a hand through his hair.
” I won’t let anyone pity me, not now or ever,” he scream out….
? ” Seems like he’s running mad,” the guards around whispers to themselves as they watch Kamil destroy whatever his hands lay on..
Dave quickly rushed to stop him before it get worst.
? “We need to call Ma’am Audrey.. only her can calm him down,” one of the maid said while they nodded.
? ” Call her now,” a male said to her…

Mr. Josie sat down and checked the time. He has been here for almost twenty minutes, yet nobody showed up.
“What am I even doing here? He asked himself. He stood up to leave.
” Josie,” a voice called and he was surprised to see her.
” Sonia!
“Are you leaving already,” she pout.
” You’ve just wasted twenty minutes of my time. You should know how much I value my time Sonia. Am leaving,” he said then turn to leave.
” You still haven’t changed Josie, always impatient,” she said while he stop on his track, then turn to her.
“What did you need.. Money? Or do you still want me to get you arrested for what you did to my family back then?
” You are the one that need something more valuable than money from me and that’s our son,” she smirked.
Josie looked at her, trying to comprehend what she means.
” Don’t you dare try to play any games with me,” he said slowly.
” Our son Kamil is going through a lot and your children are out there enjoying their lives. Do you know how difficult it was for me to raise Kamil alone,” she said.
” Quit it Sonia, i hate such games. I see you haven’t gotten over me till now. Well for your information I have moved on now,” he sneered.
” Do you really think I did as you told me back then. I didn’t abort the pregnancy Josie, I choose to carry it alone and now I think it’s better I tell you so you can know your responsibility. Kamil deserves more than what he’s doing in San Francisco and am not lying to you. Julianna is a doctor right, you guys can conduct a DNA to prove it right,” she said while Josie froze at the spot, recalling what happened years back…

“You’re one of Kendall most trusted men, are you gonna speak or just keep quiet? Nadine asked. She checked the time and noticed it getting to 6pm.
“He’s just wasting our time,” Cassie sighed.
” Let’s start from this. Long time ago Kendall sent some of his men to burn down a particular house here in Manila and it belong to one of his former loyal driver. Mr . Harris Seth,” she said.
She wished Lorenzo is still alive to handle this himself.
“Do you remember now? She asked while Craig kept mute.
The door went open and a woman walked in with a small boy with Miguel behind them.
“Craig…,” The woman called in tears. She’s his wife with their eight year old son.
“Daddy,” the little boy cried as he run to hug Craig but Nadine pulled him away.
“Don’t you dare touch my family,” Craig yelled at her.
Nadine open her bag and picked up a gvn.
” Right here right now I can choose to blow up his empty brain of yours in front of your poor wife and son and boom… This will be the beginning of their suffering,” Nadine said sternly pointing the gun at him.
” Or maybe I can start with your wife,” Nadine laughed then cracked the gun and point it towards the woman who quickly fell on her knees crying.
“Please don’t kll me,” the woman cried.
“Leave my family alone,” Craig yelled.
“Please Craig just tell them what they need to hear so we can get out of here” the wife pleaded with him.
” Our dirty past will always come hunting us and that will end up affecting our loved ones. Now are you gonna speak up? Nadine asked while he nodded.
“Tell me do you know Harris Seth? She asked.
“Yes.. he was our boss former driver and we only did our job. We brunt down his house and the next morning we heard his only son survived. We wanted to get rid of the boy but we couldn’t find him so we lied to Kendall that the whole family is wiped out in the fire,” he said while Nadine frowned.
” Whatever you see me doing here is for Lorenzo because am sure if he’s still alive he wouldn’t hesitate to kill you. You’ll be useful to us and if you choose to cooperate you and your family will be saved and together we will bring an end to Kendall…” She said..
