Episode 46
Ann checked her time and look around.
Why isn’t he here?
Dave texted her to meet him at the coffee shop down the street and felt this the time to tell him everything now.
“Glad you came.. am sorry for keeping you waiting,” he said taking a seat opposite to her.
” That’s what you’re always good at,”
” You haven’t been picking my calls recently, I’ve missed you, ” he said.
‘Am sorry about that I’ve been busy,” she said.
“Busy… Still helping your friend with the recent happenings? He asked while Ann was surprised to hear him say that.
“How did you know? She asked.
” You were only using me to get what you wanted after all and your love wasn’t even genuine, ” he blunt out so bitter.
” H… How… ” Ann wanted to say something but her lips couldn’t talk seeing how hurt Dave was.
“You only got close to me to get information about Kamil… Hurting my feelings. You know how much I loved you right so why did you play along not even thinking I will be the one to get hurt in the end, you were only selfish about what you’ll get. You know what.. you’re no different from Kamil… Isn’t that the exact thing Kamil did to Cassie.. ”
” Enough Dave, ” Ann said trying to hold back her tears.
” Am sorry.. about that but am not a bad person you know. I was only desperate to help my friend because she needed me at that time, she’s counting on me to help at any slight chance I’ve got, and it not only about her but about the poor victims too, ”
” And you don’t want to hurt her feelings but went ahead to hurt mine. You should have just come out blunt and tell me the real problem maybe then I can help you get whatever information you need about Kamil, you should have trusted me, ” he yelled..
” No one is to be trusted at that time and you kept on disturbing me so I had no choice than to accept your proposal of being your girlfriend .. ”
” So it’s now my fault that to choose you right? He asked
“Am sorry Dave but you can’t force someone to love you,” she muttered
” And you can’t be force to stop loving someone. Love does not give us a chance to choose and if I was to choose then definitely not a deciet like you,” he sneered.
” I guess is over between us now and I’ve learn the biggest lesson of my life. I was just too stupid to fall for someone like you. Maybe you’re right I was the one pestering you around and I deserve this actually but now that I know the truth I will also withdraw. I will definitely get over this,” he said and with that he stood up and walk out in anger.
“That’s too bad Ann,” she said to herself. Dave has been nothing but a good person to her but she took that for granted.
“Hope am not making any mistakes here,” she said to herself looking so worried.
” Hey,” a lady flash her smile then sat down opposite to her.
“You know him? The lady asked her.
” Know who? Ann asked.
” The guy that just left,”
” Oh Dave, sure,” she replied.
” Are you sure you did.. he’s Maria’s brother right?,” she asked wanting to be sure.
” I don’t know,” Ann shrugged. She can’t remember him telling her he has a sister. Well she literally don’t know anything about him apart from knowing that he works for Kamil as his bodyguard.
“When did he came back from Mexico I’ve been looking for any member of Maria’s family because after her death I heard that her brothers came back,” she said while Ann seems confused.
” Oh! I guess you must be mistaken here. That’s Dave my ex boyfriend, I don’t think he have any sister,” Ann said while she stood up.
” I have to go now,” she said then leave the lady in a confused state.

“I love you and you know i do*** Dave’s voice echoed in her ears as she sat down on the bed. She have been tossing on the bed since and couldn’t sleep, thinking about what happened earlier. She checked the time and noticed it 11pm…
“Why am I so troubled this way,” she picked her phone and called Dave to her surprised he picked the call.
? Dave..
? What’s up Ann…
?You left so angry earlier..
?I had to..
?Am sorry Dave.. I know you’re hurt and I apologise am just being so careful…
Before she could finish saying that the call got disconnected….

“So is true dad,” Nadine asked when she went there the following day with Leonard, well after their heated argument with Leonard they later resolve it.
“That was a long time ago. Am sorry all that has to happen,” he said.
“I’ve knew you’re up to no good when you were forcing me to marry Leonard, you just wanted history to repeat itself and that’s exactly what’s is happening to the both of us,” Nadine said.
” Nadine! I know your dad make a mistake but we can’t push all the blames on him. Am so very angry as you are right now but we shouldn’t allow this to destroy us, we should stand together as family and fight that Sonia once and for all.
She once destroyed my home but now I won’t allow her penetrate and kll anyone of us, we have to fight back and we can only do that together as a family,” Julianna said.
” And if Kamil is truly our brother as she have said then am never gonna accept him, we need to conduct a DNA test,” Miguel said then walked outside while Nadine followed him behind.
“You should clean up the mess you started and just pray that desperate Sonia will not try to harm Miguel or Nadine or even our grandson Eric” she seethed while Josie nodded.
He felt so disappointed in his self. His children has lose confidence in him, his past is hunting him and it seems to affect everyone around him.
“I need to see Kamil and Sonia,” he said to himself.

@ The station?
” We will go with the hair sample,” Miguel said as he took the strand of Kamil’s hair and that of his dad.
“There’s nothing to lie about Josie… Conduct the test yourself and you’ll see it for yourself, so just accept your responsibility and our son can’t keep staying here he need to be out of her,” Sonia said to him..
” You suppose to rot in jail for everything you once did to my family, remember how you almost klled Julianna and that affected our innocent unborn child. Until the results is out I don’t have any son aside from Miguel and my daughter Nadine,” Josie said sternly.
” Like father like children, so tough huh! Once am out of here I will make sure you go down with your family all. All my life I have grew up without a father so I don’t need anyone right now,” Kamil said so bitter to think it’s now his family against him.
” We are not going to stop until you rot here for what you did to me and everyone you’ve caused so much pain to,” Cassie fired back at him.
” See you in court then because my son won’t keep staying here ” Sonia said
“That’s who is she? Filled with anger and so much hatred towards us, we have to be careful this time around,” Julianna said while Josie look at Kamil one last time before leaving.

Josie was surprised to see the new headline and newspapers which spread more faster.
?*Mr Josie has another son- Kamil
? *The first son of the Montes family from another woman Sonia”
?*Miguel and Nadine’s half brother..
” I thought the media will be out of this,” Mr Josie said so angry as he fold the newspaper and squeeze it.
“It’s all Sonia’s doing. She’s making you look like the bad guy and this something that would have been resolved without the media but she stupidly went ahead and publish those lame and false information, the DNA test results is not even out,” Julianna said so angry.
” Today is the court hearing and we have to be there to end this once and for all,” he seethed.

Miguel collected the test results and was just coming out from the laboratory when he almost bump into Cassie who was coming in.
“Cassie!
” We have to be there on time,” she said while he nodded.
“The result is out,” he said then opened it from the envelope and read through it, a frown crept on his face.
“Sonia is right… He’s my brother,” he muttered to himself while Cassie looked at him.
” It’s positive here, he’s actually dad’s son,” he said.
“What! What a twist, what are you gonna do? She asked.
“What else! That asshole can never be my brother,” he said, then walked away.
Cassie stood in shocked not knowing what to do. Things are gradually getting complicated. Will he still help her after knowing it’s his brother they’re fighting all alone. What will be her fate now? And Kamil, he still have to face the consequences of all the crimes he committed…

Josie and Julianna arrived to the court for the final court hearing…
The reporters quickly rushed to them asking them tons of questions..
?Is is true that Kamil is your first son and not Miguel?
?What about Sonia now? Your ex lover?
?Are you going to watch your son go to prison? How can you reunite with him then?

“What sort of annoying question is this? Julianna thought within herself.
“Listen carefully,” Julianna started, all attention was on her. The flashings of camera light were all on her.
“All this happened thirty years ago and am sure some of you were not even born as of then. That desperate poor bch almost ruined my home and now she’s back with her false accusation to ruin everything we’ve built so far. I loved my husband and he loves me too, till now the DNA results isn’t out so we are not fully sure Kamil is Josie’s son. Sonia just want to ruin our reputation for her selfish reasons and she also want her poor criminal son to get away with his crimes, well the truth is that even if his Josie’s son he will still have to pay for his crimes so get your mind off that and nobody is cheating on me,” she said while they nodded. Josie watch Julia speak with so much confidence defending him, he knew she was so angry with him but yet she defended.
“Enough of these questions. Mom! dad! let go,” Nadine said as their guards pull them out of the crowd to the court.
” Thank you Julianna” Josie whispers to her when they walked inside….
