THE NEXT DAY ?…
“Wakey wakey sleepy head , Mrs Damien said patting Ariel lightly trying to wake her up from her unending sleep.
“Mom ,why are you waking me so early, I want to sleep some more , Ariel said in a sleepy voice.
“I know ,I just came to inform you that I would be going shopping today , Mrs Damien said with all smiles.
“Shopping to where ,mom I don’t need anymore clothes or accessories , okay ,you are enough, Ariel said pouting her lips cutely.
“Oh come on Ariel ,I can give you the whole world ,but that’s not why I am going shopping and I am going with some maids , Mrs Damien replied.
“Then why are you going shopping ,with some maids at that,is there an occasion, Ariel asked.
“Don’t tell me you forgot , Mrs Damien said.
“Forgot what ,I don’t know of any occasion , school term already ended and graduation is not even near ,so I don’t know, Ariel replied.
“Oh my goodness Ariel , it’s your birthday in five days ,I am going shopping for your birthday , Mrs Damien said.
“Wow ,my birthday I forgot ,thank you Mom for reminding me ,but isn’t it too early to go shopping mom ,we still have some time , Ariel said.
“Of course not , Ariel this birthday is going to be one of a kind ,I have to start preparations or else things will get messy on that day , don’t worry you will see reasons why I did the birthday preparations early ,oh do you have friends you want to invite ,the invitation cards are ready , Mrs Damien said.
“Yes I do ,my blind friends from school ,I want them there on that day ,but mom how are they going to cope with other people around Ariel asked .
“Don’t worry about that we will get that done soon okay ,I will be leaving make sure to take care of yourself ,see you at dinner , Mrs Damien said then gave Ariel a kiss on her head before she left the room.
Jerald on the other hand listened to their conversation with a heavy heart ,he had woken up that morning expecting his mom to come give him a good morning kss but she didn’t come,he decided to see if she was in Ariel’s room or she had gone to work early again .
He stood up from the his bed , and decided to walk since he was now strong enough to do so ,he got to Ariel’s room and saw the door slightly open ,he drew near when he heard his mother’s voice informing Ariel about the preparations for his own birthday that was now driven to Ariel ,he left the door post immediately he heard Mrs Damien say goodbye .
He had forgotten his own birthday and the best way to be reminded was by hearing from your own mother,but instead he heard it in completely different way , Jerald sigh and went back to his room ,he quickly showered and had breakfast in his room ,he didn’t want to face Ariel now or else he would do something crazy and he still wants her to love him so he decided to isolate him self for the rest of the day.
He picked up his phone to go online and see if he could find the invitation cards,after a minute search he finally found it , Ariel’s name was written in bold letters while his where tiny and slightly not readable.
He threw his phone to the wall shedding tears ,his heart felt like it had been stabbed countless times ,he broken ,he destroyed everything single thing in his room till he got tired ,he looked like a mess as he sat cuddled up on the ground muttering incoherent words and crying at the same time .
“Why ,was the only word he could form till he fell asleep.

“Good morning sir ,Mrs Damien is here to see you ,a secretary walked into her boss office and said.
“Please tell her to come in ,he replied immediately.
Few seconds later Mrs Damien walked into her lawyers office ,he had called her last night to inform her about the papers.
“Good Morning barrister ,I came as early as possible , because I will be busy this whole week,so what is it you want to tell me, Mrs Damien asked after settling down on the sofa present in the room ,it looks like he had just installed it.
“The papers are ready so I decided to inform you , and don’t worry I know why you are busy this week , it’s because of Jerald’s birthday ,well I thought through what you told me , and I found out that it won’t be possible to get the papers ready on that day ,so I decided to work on it immediately you left that day and it’s ready now ,here this are the papers ,the lawyer explained handing over the documents to Mrs Damien who’s face beemed with smilies.
“Thank you barrister , for this I will increase you pay , thank you very much,Mrs Damien said happily.
“You are welcome ma’am but not to forget ,their signatures need to be there ,to finally seal it,the lawyer reminded and Mrs Damien nodded in understanding.
“I need to get going now ,I will see you in Ariel’s birthday, Mrs Damien said handing the barrister an invitation card .
“Alright ma’am , thank you ,the lawyer said and Mrs Damien waved before leaving his office .
She was more than happy ,finally Ariel will become her’s forever ,if ken and Kimberly find out Ariel is their daughter ,they won’t be able to take her away because she’s is Jerald’s future wife .
*I will get Ariel to sign this papers tonight *Mrs Damien thought happily .
She got back to her car , before Asher drove her to the shopping mall with the maid tagging along in another vehicle .

FIVE HOURS LATER……
“Gabby ,here take this to the car,these are the decorations ,they should be placed carefully .
” Finn gather the gift bags to my own car , and make sure they are properly arranged.
“Helen get the mall agent ,I need more decoration stuffs , and where is the lady that was assisting you guys , Mrs Damien asked .
“She went to get more bags ma’am, Helen one of the maids who tagged along with Mrs Damien replied.
“Alright ,have Lilian call up the caterer , and please hurry up , Mrs Damien ranted non stop .
Even a blind man could see how tired the maid where , going from one place to the other ,Mrs Damien ordered non stop just for the big day ,most of the maids where regretting why they made themselves available ,the mall had been locked up just for Mrs Damien to shop .
“Ma’am the caterer is out of the city , Lilian informed Mrs Damien ,who instantly turned angry .
“What do you mean out of town Mrs Damien barked angrily.
“I am sorry ma’am ,I called her up but she said she isn’t in the city ,she had urgent issues , Lilian replied.
“Fine call up a bakery shop immediately,a standard one , Mrs Damien stated.
“Yes ma’am, Lilian nodded before leaving.
“Ma’am your phone is ringing , Asher said walking in to the mall with Mrs Damien phone in her hand.
“Who is calling, Mrs Damien asked not really interested in who was calling until she heard the name role out of Asher’s mouth.
“It’s Ariel calling ma’am, Asher replied Mrs Damien immediately collected the it then picked up the phone .
??Hello Ariel baby, what’s wrong is there a problem Mrs Damien said almost immediately.
?? Mom please come home immediately ,the police are here at home , Ariel said .
??The police ,why are they there , Mrs Damien asked.
??I can’t explain mom ,just hurry up , Ariel said then the phone was hanged up.
Mrs Damien panicked hearing all that Ariel said,did ken and Kimberly find out ,are they there to arrest her and take Ariel away ,no she had to find out ,she quickly walked to her car with Asher tailing behind her ,she got in immediately and Asher drove out of the mall , the maids were confused and happy that now they could finally return home but their smile died down when they all got a test from Mrs Damien at the same time ,to continue shopping ,loud groans escaped each and every one of them mouth , making the mall agents laugh.

Mrs Damien soon got home ,to find three police men ,a man who looked like he was in his late fourties ,a young man and a lady , Ariel and Kathrine .
The police men were holding unto one of her cooks Jackie and standing beside her was another cook Rosa .
She breathed a sigh of relief when she found out that ken and Kimberly we’rnt there .
“What going on here , she asked .
“Mom you are finally here ,Ariel said smiling .
“Yes baby , what’s going on here ,why are there police officers here ,who are these people and why is Jackie being held like that , Mrs Damien asked confused.
“Mom , she’s being held like that because she was trying to escape ,mom she’s the evil girl that tried to kill Jerald,she was the one who poisoned him and framed Jon for it , Ariel said.
“What ,how ,I don’t understand ,Jon was the one who poisoned Jerald ,not her , Mrs Damien replied now very confused.
Ariel signaled Katherine and she understood ,she then brought out her phone and played the audio , Mrs Damien was shocked she immediately felt guilty , she was secretly filing a case against Jon who was innocent all along .
“Ma’am this man here , Kathrine said pointing to the man who looked like he was in his late fourties ,was the one who sold the poison to Jackie .
“Yes ma’am , it’s true she came to me some weeks ago , saying she needed a very strong poison that could kill rats within seconds ,but I was out of those type of poison so I gave her another type which wasn’t that strong but the rats will still end up dead ,I had no idea it was for a human ,if I knew I wouldn’t have given her ,the Man whose name was Joseph explained to Mrs Damien,he already explained to the police officers when Terrance brought them to him.
“And this is Terrance Williams and Stacy Williams ,thru are families of Jon , Kathrine said.
“Oh my goodness , Mrs Damien exclaimed too shocked to think .
“What are we still doing here ,we need to get Jon out of prison immediately , and she is surely going to rot In jail, Mrs Damien said ,she grabbed Ariel’s hand and walked out of the house rushing towards her car , everyone other person tagged along including Rosa ,they were all heading to the police station Jon was kept ,it was time for justice to prevail.
