THE D-DAY (ARIEL AND JERALD’S BIRTHDAY)
7:00am Ariel’s room….

? Happy birthday , happy birthday, happy birthday to you, Mrs Damien , Jon , Kathrine ,Stacy ,Rosa and some other maids ,sang happily to a sleepy Ariel who had woken up to the sound of their voices.
“Oh my goodness mom ,you guys thank you so much,I wasn’t expecting this , thanks guys,thank you Mom I love you very much , Ariel said to Mrs Damien who pulled her into a hug .
“You are welcome my dear ,now get up already, it’s your birthday and it’s going to be a long day ,Jon has volunteered to dress you up today before she joins us down stairs,oh and Kathrine already made plans for the day ,so you are gonna get ? dressed and go have fun ,but be back early for the party , you don’t have to worry Kathrine will take care of everything, Mrs Damien said assuringly and Ariel only nodded with a huge smile plastered on her face.
Mrs Damien thought about Jerald’s happy birthday song but she shrugged it off With the thought of singing it to him at the party.
“We will take it from here ma’am, Jon said to Mrs Damien who nodded before evading the room with the rest of the maid as well as Stacy and Rosa who were to assist the maids in decorations .
“Good morning Jon ,kath,why didn’t you tell me about the surprise birthday song , Ariel questioned getting up from her bed .
“Oh come on Ariel ,if I told you it won’t be a surprise and you haven’t been in the mood for something like this after I told you about my parents decision in leaving the city, Kathrine said.
“Oh ,I almost forgot about that , forget I asked , Ariel replied trying to hide her sad face .
“Ariel please stop this ,I feel pained seeing you sad ,I know leaving your best friend is sad cause I am also sad ,but it doesn’t matter ,I will always be your best friend no matter what happens,I am sorry for choosing my family over you but it’s the right thing to do Ariel, Kathrine stated.
“I know kath ,am sorry for being selfish but you are like the only person that I feel a strong bond with, you are like a sister to me , and I love you very much,I am just gonna miss you a lot ,you know no one to share secrets with ,not even Jon , it’s like everyone is leaving me , Ariel said sadly.
“No one is leaving you Ariel ,I am only leaving for a short while I promise when I am of age I will visit you , and I can come here holidays , isn’t that great we get to spend time with each other ,all day long, please don’t wear a sad face , Kathrine said assuringly.
“Yes Ariel Kathrine is right ,we are not leaving you,we will always visit and you can visit too, Jon said .
“Please Ariel , please don’t be sad ,I still have a month to spend with you , Kathrine said.
“Alright fine I won’t be sad anymore but if you guys don’t visit then I won’t talk to anyone ever again, and kath please don’t have any other best friend apart from me okay, Ariel said and Kathrine wore a big smile.
“I sure will , Kathrine replied and pulled her into a hug.
“Oh Ariel , Jackie is here with the styling gel ,she at the entrance I will go get them , Jon said and walked out .
Wondering why Jackie isn’t in jail ,well that’s because Jon had no grudge against her and she was forgiven ,thanks to her Terrance was able to reunite with her , Jackie felt really sorry for what she did ,she was once a sweet girl but things changed when her parents died in a car accident ,where she was taken to an orphanage home and was adopted by a rich couple who were in need of a child or more like a servant for their children ,she was 15 of age at that time ,not only was she treated badly but also molested by both sons and father ,after years of living in hell ,she finally found Mrs Damien who took her in to the orphanage but she was determined to be great and prove to her foster parents she could stand on her own .
Her condition and taste for revenge made her evily minded and mischievous ,but deep inside all this quality was a young lady still trying to get over her past , although everyone felt sorry for her and forgave her but Mrs Damien couldn’t accept her back into the house to work , instead Terrance got her a job in a big hair stylist company where she had started working ,so Jon had asked her to get some styling gel for Ariel’s makeover before the party .
And most of you may be wondering why Ariel said *it’s like everyone is leaving me*,well that’s because Terrance scared of losing Jon again proposed two days before Ariel’s Birthday to Jon who gladly accepted , and they where to return back to Australia because Terrance had more companies there that New York or even Texas .
Ariel had been feeling down after Kathrine informed her about leaving New York for India ,she felt sad her best friend was leaving her for a long time ,but she couldn’t do anything about it ,must be the personal issues Kathrine has refused to share with her ,but she was happy for her and not just Kathrine but for everyone in her life including Jackie ,after hearing her story Ariel had become free to speak with her when she visited the saloon with Katherine and Jon , Prisca was spending quality time with her father , and Stacy had to visit her fiance but she returned last night for Ariel’s birthday ,she couldn’t miss such an angel’s birthday.
And as for Jerald ,well he seemed to be a little bit lively for the past days ,after having isolated himself for that whole day ,he became different,he wasn’t sad his mom didn’t care for him that much all he did was smile mischievously and muttered ,*soon* , Katherine on several occasions heard this but had no idea what it meant,she had no idea on what to tell Ariel because her ears might just be decieving her but yet ,she always felt strange .
Jon returned with the styling gel placed it on the bed while Kathrine rummaged through Ariel’s closet looking for a matching outfit for her to put on .
After dressing Ariel up in a orange crop top ,a tight white jeans ,with some diamonds ear rings and necklace which all matched with what Kathrine was wearing ,they both set out to Love Toons pack,just like it was Kathrine’s favorite place so was Ariel .
They decide to ride each and every rollercoaster in the pack not only because it was a special day ,but because soon they won’t be together and won’t have the chance to be at the pack together again holding hands and wearing matching outfits.

After hours of having fun and nothing but fun they returned back home , Ariel was very tired but she didn’t want to show it because Mrs Damien was going to scold Kathrine for it.
Kimberly already dropped by the mansion to drop Kathrine’s outfit for the party , she also joined in the decorations , which was very outstanding and fabulous ,the whole place looked like a masquerade ball due to how huge the room was with fancy decorations laced everywhere , and of course Mrs Damien felt so uncomfortable like never before but at last she felt relieved because Kimberly had some business plans ,but she never forgot to hand over a present to Ariel.
Ken couldn’t come because he still felt ashamed of himself for thinking Ariel was his lost daughter ,so he made up excuses to not attend the party .
“I am so tired , Kathrine said immediately she got into Ariel’s room she had to see her mom off before she returned back in .
“Me too ,you caused it all,mom must not find out or we are gonna get scolded , Ariel replied.
“No I am gonna get scolded ,you are not , Kathrine said .
“Yeah that’s true ,but anyways I am hungry what should we eat , Ariel said.
” I like your reasoning Ariel , don’t worry I know just what to get for us be tight back , Kathrine said and left for the kitchen .
Ariel sigh sadly ,she couldn’t believe Kathrine will soon be leaving her ,she thought they were inseparable but maybe she was wrong ,she had gone into deep thoughts when her door creaked open ,the scent was different it wasn’t that of Kathrine but the one she really likes,it was Jerald and she had no idea why he was in her room but she was happy he was there maybe to wish her happy birthday .
“Hi Jerald , what’s up, Ariel greeted.
“Am ….. good,how the he.ll did you know I was the one ,I was going to scare you or maybe act as a lady or something.
“You seriously don’t know me by now , It’s your scent ,you smell nice today more ravishing than before, happy birthday , Ariel replied .
“Thank you Ariel ,you know you are the first person to say that to me today , Jerald said .
“Are you being serious, Ariel asked.
“Yeah ,but it’s fine ,I am not affected by it just came to wish you happy birthday ,I came earlier but you where not in so I had to return , happy birthday Ariel, Jerald replied.
“Thank you so much , Jerald it means a lot ,so what did you get for you kid sister , Ariel asked .
“Oh Urm ,I don’t know if it’s the right thing to give to you but ,here you go ,I got you this heart shaped perfume ,it smells really nice ,I have never gotten a present for any girl before so I took some advice from my friend I he gave me some options , Jerald said handing the rapped up box to Ariel who gladly collected it.
“Thanks Jerald ,you are the best big brother ever , and here is my own present , Ariel said bringing out a golden wristwatch Kathrine helped her order online few days ago.
“Thank you Ariel ,you are so sweet , Jerald said and Ariel blushed slightly with butterfly dancing in her stomach.
“You are welcome , Ariel replied.
“I need to go now ,I will see you at the party ,my friend is coming all the way from France and I have to go pick him up at the airport ,he will soon arrive, Jerald said and Ariel nodded .
Jerald patted Ariel’s hair before he left in a hurry going down stairs ,he was so happy ,he had a great plan that would surely get Ariel out o the house soon.
“Jerald , Mrs Damien called seeing him rush downstairs like he was in a hurry.
“Hey mom, can’t talk right now ,I have to go wait for my friend at the airport , Jerald said in a hurry.
“Can you quickly sign this document ,I need it for my business plans , Mrs Damien said Knowing fully well that Jerald who was in a hurry wasn’t going to ask about the documents he was signing ,which are the betrothing documents.
“Alright mom , Jerald said and immediately sign the papers before he left .
Mrs Damien smiled happily both signatures were on the paper ,now they are betrothed to each other, Ariel is now Jerald’s future wife and her daughter in law .
