I could not take off the picture I just saw, Sophie was in another guys arms and she was smiling to the fullest.
“Sophie, what have I wronged you? Was I not enough for you? What else did you want me to do to prove that I love you with all my life? “I said looking at her picture in my hand.
“Calm down Nicolas, everything will be fine”Sonea comforted me.
“Just forget about her”henry suggested.
“Do you think its easy to forget her? She is the very first girl I have ever loved”I said.
“But she has betrayed your love, she doesn’t deserve your love at all”George said.
“George is right, start a new life Nicolas, find someone else”Geoffrey suggested.
“Nicolas, why dont you reconsider sonea? She has been there for the past 6 years but you never notice her even once. Sonea is a good girl from a respected family as well”Harry said.
“I am not confident enough to do that”I said.
“Come one Nicolas, you will definitely differentiate between that poor girl and me, okey for only one week, date me for one week and find the difference”sonea pleaded. I just don’t know what to do.
“I cannot, I love Sophie a lot”I said.
“Don’t make a fool of yourself Nicolas, don’t waste your youthful life over someone who doesn’t even love you”henry said.
“I will think about about it”I said.
But will I be able to forget Sophie in just a week?

Mom looked at me in disappointment.
“Sophie, this is the seventh time a man is coming to ask for your hand in marriage and its also the seventh time your turning down the proposal, be honest with me, do you already have someone? “She said.
“Mom, the truth is that, I am not ready for mar… “My words we’re hang into the air when the necklace that Nicolas gave me suddenly fell off from my neck.
“What is happening? Nicolas? “I wondered what this meant coz if has been around my neck for the past 6 years and why fell off like this?
“What!is it Sophie? Who gave you that nexlace? “Mom asked
“Mom, I have to go somewhere now, I will be back shortly”I run out of the compound. I persuaded Nicolas father to make a call to the university to find out if something is wrong with him but they said he was fine.
I am not relieved at all, something is troubling me.
