Please ma, you are the only one that will help me talk to Debbie, I’ve realized my mistake, I’m ready to marry her” Noel said to Debbie’s mother
She gave him an annoying look and hissed, customers in her restaurant were beginning to stare at them.
“Why did you choose to come to my restaurant to embarrass me, I dont like the way they’re staring at us”
“I’ve been to your house several times but your gateman refused to allow me in”
“Now listen carefully, Debbie aborted your child and she has moved on with her life, I advise you do the same”
“I don’t believe she aborted our child,Debbie can’t do such a thing, she loves me so much and wouldn’t do any harm to our baby”
“Eeeerm, Noel, it’s time you leave, I don’t have anything to discuss with you AGAIN. Moreover, what about your royal fiancee? Please I have an appointment to catch up with” she said dismissively, standing up, she called one of her workers to get her handbag for her, she left him and drove out in her car.
Noel stood up and walked to his car, he opened the door and sat down, he regretted ever treating Debbie bad, after he was hit on the head by Whitney, he spent one week in the hospital and she neither called nor checked on him, it was then he realized he has been a fool. Debbie was the only girl that truly loved him, she was ready to do anything just to show how much she loved him, and she would never think of hitting him, she adored him and treated him like a king, he made up his mind to bring her back into his life And show her how much he loved her, he has realized how much he loved and missed her. He was just fooling around Whitney because he thought Whitney was the right woman for him but he was wrong.

***********George was home for his sister’s birthday, he made sure that all was set for Mirabel’s birthday. He just finished speaking to the baker on the phone and went to the sitting room to relax, Gift and the other girls were busy in the kitchen preparing supper, his mum and Mirabel were yet to return from the salon, they have spent the whole week shopping for her birthday, and her birthday was the next day,
He entered the sitting room to meet his uncle watching football, he greeted him and sat close to him, he noticed uncle Gabriel was looking so happy,
“Seems you won a prize, you’ve been smiling since I joined you here” George said to his uncle
He smiled and sat up
“Nothing really, George, I will like to introduce my fiancee to the family, though I haven’t proposed to her yet but plan to do that tomorrow,”
“Oh my God, I can’t believe this, who is the lucky girl? When did you meet her? Whats her name? Where’s she from? Is she beautiful?” he asked excitedly reducing the volume of the television
“Easy, one question at a time, you will meet her tomorrow, it’s a surprise, i’m moving out next week,I have discussed that with your parents, I want you to help me with the interior decoration,”
“I’ll gladly do that, I cant wait to meet your fiancee”
“We need to celebrate this” George said, he wen to the kitchen and brought drinks,they cheered to happiness and enjoyed their drink
The door opened, Mirabel and her mum walked in, the gateman followed them behind carrying different bags, George greeted them.
“What’s the celebration about?” Mirabel asked sipping from her uncle’s drink
Uncle Gabriel gave George a sign, signalling him not to say a word,
“Errrm, remember tomorrow is your birthday, so we are having your birthday eve,”
“Birthday Eve ni, you’re not serious” Mirabel smirked at him
“So my little sister is now a big girl, make sure you introduce your boyfriend to me tomorrow, because I know you already have one,” George said jokingly
“please i’m so tired, I need to shower and come down for dinner, your dad is on his way home, I need to shower before he returns, we spent the whole day at the salon,” his mum chipped in
“All the women in this house are looking pretty today, hope I will be able to recognize either of you tomorrow? ” George teased his mother and sister
“Mirabel go to your room and shower, your photo shot will start early in the morning and your makeup artist will be here around 5.30am”her mum reminded her.

********** Noel got home devastated, he went to his room and threw himself on the bed, he picked his phone and tried Debbie’s number again and it was switched off, he remembered the last time they spent together, how he wickedly gave her a cheque to abort the baby, he remembered how she wept begging him not to deny their baby. He remembered, how she cried begging him not to abandon her, he also remembered how he ruthlessly spoke to her when she visited his home with her mother, he wept for his mistake, He managed to remove his clothes and tried to lay on his bed, he saw the remnant of a bottle of whisky on the table, he grabbed it and gulped the content down his throat, he dropped the bottle on the floor and slept off.

************ The make up artist woke Mirabel from sleep, she quickly rushed to the bathroom and showered, then she hurried downstairs to have a quick breakfast, everyone was already running around, the decorators were outside decorating the compound, her mum had gone out to inspect the cooking.
George was already dressed for the photo shot, he would leave immediately after that to pick his girlfriend from the airport and also pick the cake, Mirabel was so excited, she couldn’t stop thanking her parents and brother.

*********Noel’s mother walked into his room to see his clothes scattered on the floor, she picked the clothes and arranged them, she then saw the empty bottle of whisky on the floor and she heaved a sigh.
Noel lazily opened his eyes and saw his mother staring at him,
“Mum, I love her so much, I made a big mistake, I want to correct my mistake, mum please I can’t live without her” he managed to say.
His mum was moved to tears, she moved closer to him and hugged him tight, she screamed.
“Noel, your body is hot, you’re running high temperature,”
He coughed and threw up on the floor, his mother trembled in fear, she called the maid to help clean the room, she helped him to his feet and took him to the bathroom for a warm bath, he managed to bathe and wore his clothes before he drove to the hospital to see his doctor.

********* The house was filled to the brim, Thelma had also arrived, the Dj was doing a good job, everything was set for the party, Mirabel was already dressed, she was looking beautiful in her dress, Gift, Dorothy and Ruth were also looking good in their outfit.
The party kicked off at exactly 5pm,Mirabel came down with her friends, her mood changed when she couldn’t find someone, and she would soon be called to cut the cake. Her father’s associates were also present.
Thelma couldn’t let go of George as she noticed many girls were drooling for him, she held unto him as he introduced her to everyone.
Elvis and Whitney walked into the compound and everyone was amazed at Whitney’s beauty and she was dressed to kill, they were all smiles as they walked in, Whitney saw Thelma holding onto George and quickly recognized her, she knew Thelma to be a club girl and won’t accept her messing around with the only guy she truly loves, Mirabel called Thelma to help her change her cloth, when they got to where George was standing,
Thelma had gone into the house with Mirabel, Whitney bit her lower lip, she decided to hold onto George and won’t allow Thelma come close to him again till the party is over.
