“He’s gonna be alright. I’m sure of that. Maybe he’s stuck up in traffic. ” Mrs Cooper said, coming into the room .
It was obvious she was excited about the news of me being pregnant.
Jessica sat beside me checking my palm.
“I’m not feeling too well about this. Are you guys sure he’s alright? ”
” Certain. Davey has got bodyguards. And he’s such a good fighter. Trust me. “Jess said and I nodded.
” You have to eat something and go to sleep. He will be here tomorrow morning.” Mrs Cooper said with a smile.
Why are they so sure of themselves?
I ate some cookies and had a little juice before going back to sleep… Hoping and praying he will here for me in the morning.

It was past ten in the night when the coast was finally clear.
I stared at Jessica as she slept on her bed. It was so obvious she was deep into the sleep.
Already dressed for the night, I gently opened the door and stepped out.
Minutes later, I was standing in the street, waiting for a cab to take me to Robert’s place.
A cab pulled in front of me soon enough and I jumped in.
I showed the driver the address and he drove off Immediately.

I got in front of the single house with little white gate at the front and found my way into the smooth compound.
I breathed in, trying to look less nervous at what I was about doing.
“Calm down Tess… You can do this. Just pretend… That’s all. ” I whispered to myself and finally knocked on the door.
It opened few minutes later, revealing that handsome face.
He was surprised, seeing me. “Jessica? It’s late!” He said loudly and I sniffed.
I quickly started weeping and hugged him. “I couldn’t stay at home. I had a fight with my sister.” I cried.
“Your what? You have a sister? ”
I froze and looked at him. Hold on…. He doesn’t even know about me?
Like…. Jess never told him she’s got a twin sister?
Ah… So perfect.
I quickly changed the topic. “Oh not really. It’s a close friend who came to squat with us. Can I come in? It’s cold. ”
” Are you spending the night?”
My heart leapt for joy on hearing that question.
” Can I?” I mumbled, looking into his eyes.
“Come in. ” He stepped aside and I walk into the house.
Hmm. Not bad.
I quickly sat in one of the sofas, creating the impression that I’ve been there before while it was actually my first time.
Secretly,I studied everything and Robert.
He had gone into one of the rooms as I sat. He came back with a glass of water.
He handed it over and sat beside me. “Drink up.”
I smiled and drank half of water before turning to face him. “It’s a cold night…” I mumbled, edging closer.
He caught my shoulder and looked at me. ” Jess…are you okay?”
“I am.” With that,I forced my way into him and sat on his strong laps, unbuttoning his shirt immediately.
Thankfully he fell and took my lips in a harsh kss.
Harsh but I loved it.
His hands roamed all over my back, unhooking my b.ra at the process…
Is this what Jessica has been enjoying?
The guy is good!!
Thirty minutes later,we lay together on the floor…so spent and breathless.
“Wow…you are simply the best.” I laughed.
” Yeah…you too. You are incredibly tlght and sweet.”
Yes….I got what I wanted.
Let me see how she’s gonna survive this.

It was around twelve am when I returned home.
I knew she would be so worried about me.
“Marianne? Love?” I called but no one answered me.
I walked up to our room and looked inside .
It was empty.
I was about going out again when I noticed a note on the bed.
I picked it up and looked it.
*I’ve gone to your parents house. Come pick me up when you come back.*

With a grunt, I put on my pyjamas top after taking a quick bath.
That done, I searched the kitchen for what to eat and luckily I found a half pack of bread and some left over canned fish.
I opened the freezer and took out a drink then found my way into the bedroom.
I switched on my phone and Immediately, Cassie’s call came through.
What??
She was the main reason I switched off my phone.
I just left her place two hours ago.
What does she want now!!
I totally lost my appetite, remembering the trouble at hand.
Ah…. Sht!
I switched off my phone again and laid down on the bed, deep in thought.
I’m seriously finished.
How do I tell Marianne about this??

“Wakey wakey!”
A sweet voice sang as soon as I opened my eyes.
I sat up and smiled happily as Jessica came up to me with a tray of food.
“Eat up.”
“Thanks Jess. I’m really lucky to have you guys.”
She smiled. ” No, Marianne. We are lucky to have you in our family. You’ve changed our brother so much. ” She said and I smiled.
I looked into the tray and smiled at the nice content.
A mug of tea. Homemade cookies and cream cheese.
“He isn’t here yet? I will have to go back home soon ” I said taking up a spoon.
” Chill. Mom called him an hour ago and I’m here he will soon be here. ” Jess said and I sighed with relieve.
” Oh! Thank goodness!” I sighed and just then, the door opened and Davey walked in with an odd expression on his face.
“Davey!! Good morning and congratulations!” Jess beamed and Davey stopped abruptly with his eyes wide opened.
“Davey… Where have you been?” I asked and he walked towards me.
He hugged me with a sorry face and before I could say something, he went down on his knees.
Jess didn’t seem to notice this mood cos she continued clattering. “Guess what Davey…. You guys are gonna be having a baby! Soon!! ”
” Hun?? Another baby?? Who else is pregnant this time around! ” He yelled and both Jess and I looked him, confused.
“Marianne of course.. she’s pregnant…” Jess mumbled glaring at his brother.
” Oh my God! Marianne…. You’ve got to forgive me for this. Don’t break my head when I tell you this… ” Davey pleaded, looking so repentant for the first time.
I swallowed hard as my heart beat started beating faster.
What has he done this time around!!
“It’s…. It’s… Cassie… She’s pregnant too.” He announced and I gasped with my eyes almost popping out of their sockets.
“What???”
