Episode 30

Mykel’s pov:
I walked down the stairs wondering what Rissa would do with that photo she took. I had no idea she would do that. What if it gets to her mom. What would the nice lady, think?
That I’m going around messing up with girls?…
She could even decide to get me an apartment away from Rissa with the thought that I can hurt her.
Wait a minute… That’s what I want. A separate place of my own far away from Rissa…
I stopped walking when I heard Rissa’s voice from the resting lounge room.
I went closer so I could be able to hear exactly what she was saying.
I sounded like someone was with her.
No doubt it’s Selena.
“…He’s taking advantage of you. I just respect doctors so much – thats why I’m telling you about this. He’s cheating on you” Rissa said sternly.
So, she intended on showing the picture to Selena.
She really wants us to break up.
Like, we are dating in the first place?
So, Rissa could be this bad as.s. I wonder what’s her reason for doing this. I’m sure she’s jealous.
“Alright, thank you” Selena’s voice muttered and I went into the room.
Rissa rolled her eyes and exit the place.
“She’s really funny” Selena remarked and got up from the seat.
“You haven’t really seen the whole package. She’s a pain in the as.s” I added and she chuckled.
“But then, who was that girl you were with in the photo?”.
“I don’t know much about her” I replied and her expression closed up.
“Its alright. I actually wanted to ask you, if you know who Mr Frosh is?” She asked coming close.
I tried to remember where I had heard the name in the past. The memories appeared blank and it’s almost like, I had no clue the name existed.
“I don’t know who he is. Am I suppose to know him?” I asked perplexed.
“I’m don’t think so. I just want you to be careful Mykel. I’m not sure of how that man’s connected to you but I want you to be on watch. Bad people are everywhere” She replied in a more hoarse voice.
“What’s going on? You’re talking as if someone’s after me” I said folding my arms.
“Yes, I think he’s after you”.
“Why would someone want me??? I mean, I have nothing! They’d get nothing from me…so, they can come if they wish too” I glowered.
She sighed and rubbed her forehead.
“Just be careful” She said again and left the room.
What the he.ll is that supposed to mean?
(Evening)
Rissa’s pov:
The plan was on.
How hard could it be taking three videos of Mykel eating???
I mean, his right there by the counter eating noodles.
I got my phone ready to shoot as I hide behind the wall. I hope he doesn’t find me, I’d have a lot of explaining to do..
I started recording and after few seconds, I stopped the video. I saved it and returned back to my room to plan how I’d get the next supposed video.
The day went by quickly and soon, it was midnight. Mykel was in his room probably sleeping. I sneaked in holding onto my phone.
Luckily, he was not in the room. I stood behind the bed thinking if where to plant the camera.
Suddenly, the bathroom door knob made noises before giving way.
Mykel’s coming!!!
I rushed into the wardrobe and closed it.
What do I tell him when he catches me?? The truth???…
I heard his footsteps as he walked around the room. From one corner to the other.
He dropped on the bed with his headphone attached to hie ears. I could see him through the design openings on the wardrobe.
After some minutes, he adjusted on his bed and drifted to sleep.
I quickly came out of the stuffy wardrobe and started recording him as he slept peacefully.
All of a sudden, he opened his eyes and they met with mine.
I gasped.
“What are you doing???” He asked getting up from the bed.
Oh God! How do I explain this???
(Few Minutes Later)
“I’ll help you do the project” He said after my long and stupid explanation.
“Really? Thank you Mykel” I said quite surprised.
“We will start working on it tomorrow. Just get the things we need ready” He replied with a wry smile.
I nodded and left the room.
Mykel’s gonna help me. I’m so glad.
Its better than doing three ridiculous things for Alex and Zoe.
I returned to my bedroom when a message popped in.
OMG!!! Its from dad.
***Your mom and I will be back in few days. We love you***
Oh great! Daddy’s coming home soon!
He’ll get to meet Mykel.
I wonder what he’ll think about him.
