THE CUTE KOREAN EX CONVICT: Episode 21 – 30

Episode 26

Rissa’s pov:
I can’t seem to understand myself right now. Why are my hands shaking? Why is my heart racing??

This isn’t the first time I’m seeing something ungodly.
I must be going crazy.

I raised up my head to catch them staring at me. I shrugged my shoulders like I didn’t care and swiftly gathered the textbooks back into my hands and continued my journey to my bedroom.

So, Mykel has the guts to be doing it with that lady in public – in my father’s living room. He has no shame at all!

What more do I expect from someone who has been behind bars for three years?…
He must have been jailed for rapping someone.

I can’t wait to ask mom what he’s done.
Thinking of mom, she hasn’t called back.
This is so frustrating!
I can see this household falling apart.

Mom’s too busy to even have a minute call with me while Dad traveled to another part of the world. Mykel’s downstairs messing up with some random doctor that’s older than him and I’m here….gradually becoming depressed.

Selena’s pov:
I was starting to picture the whole thing now. There’s something going on between Rissa and Mykel.

Well, the chef in the kitchen told me how rude she has been to the poor boy since he arrived and that she despised him because he’s from a juvenile center.

But from what happened earlier, Mykel wanted to make her jealous. The expression on her face didn’t look like she cared.

I just hope she doesn’t tell her mom about this. I’d loose this job and practically, loose Mykel.

I thought about this as I walked out from the mansion. My work for the day is done and I think it’s best I head to my friend’s house to tell her about Mykel.
I get lonely easily and she’s the one friend I have, who cheers me up.

I looked around and decided to walk down the road to the busier side.

It would be hard to get a taxi if I remained standing outside the gate.

I should have left the house with my car this morning but I decided to take a taxi.

The sky was gloomy like it would rain any second so I hastened my steps.

I pictured when thunder began roaring from the sky and rain poured down like shower, then out of nowhere, Mykel appears holding onto an umbrella.
He walked up to me slowly and places the umbrella over my head….

The loud sound of horns blowing from behind startled me and I staggered backwards to see who was getting my attention.

It’s a black Lamborghini with tinted glasses and I couldn’t see who was inside.

Steadily, the car stopped next to me and the door flung open.

I looked in.
You got to be kidding me!

“Babe” His annoying voice called and I rolled my eyes.

“I’ve told you a million times to leave me alone, Gabriel” I chided and he sighed.

“Can you please come in, first?” He asked with a pleading look.

I reluctantly entered the car and shut the door.

Immediately, the sky grumbled and rain began drizzling down.
What??

“I came right on time, didn’t I?” He asked smirking.

“What do you want?” I asked ignoring the faces he made.

“There’s something we need to discuss”.

“Start talking then” I ordered folding my arms.

“No. We’ll talk about it at a restaurant. That way, I can treat you for dinner, alright?” He said, driving off.

I kept mute and just focused on the road.

Grape was Gabriel’s favorite restaurant. That, I could never forget.
We know each other from the tip of our hair to the sole of our feet but still, it couldn’t work out.

We still ended the relationship.
Somethings just can’t be no matter how hard one tries.

We got a table at the extreme where there was a nice view of rain falling from the sky.

I used to struggle with my emotions whenever I bumped into Gabriel but right now, I felt nothing for him. All thanks to Mykel.

“You changed your number” He said going through the menu.

“Why won’t I? You kept calling me though you’re on my blacklist” I replied glaring at him.

He scoffed.

“So, what’s so important?” I asked drumming my fingers on the table.

He closed the book and dropped it on the table.

“I keep seeing you everywhere, Lena” He stated coyly.

“I don’t understand” I whispered as my eyes were dilating from the new discovery.

“I tried with other girls but I can’t stop thinking of everything” He added and my breath hitched.

What’s he trying to say??…

“I want you back, Rissa” He muttered.

I kept absolute silence as his expression closed up.

What the hec.k do I say to this??

*Gabriel* A voice called from nowhere.

The man approached the table and they both shook hands.

“How are you doing, Frosh? Its been years now. I thought you were in Korea?” Gabriel blurted.

He hardly talks much so it surprises me whenever he says a lot of things under a minute.

“I’m here for an important assignment. Won’t you introduce me to this beautiful young lady?” The man snickered and Gabriel’s eyes met mine.

“She’s Selena – my girlfriend” He replied and I shot him a scalding look.
Who the he.ll is his girlfriend??!

I got up from my sit and shook the man.

“Nice to meet you, sweetheart” He said flashing his teeth.

Suddenly, something dropped and I supposed it was from him.
I stooped to the floor to pick up the wallet which had opened upon the fall.

I was about to get back up when I noticed the photo attached to the wallet.

Holy!
Isn’t this Mykel???
I gazed at the photo properly.
It’s him!
What is this man doing with his photo??

I hope we remember Frosh? The one that had gone to the prison to look for Mykel.
