“I…. I’m” before she could make a complete sentence. He took the food from her along with the spoon and gave it to Julia.
“Dispose it” he ordered and she nodded before walking out of the room.
“I’m sorry… I” Grace sturter standing up from the bed. Tommy was out of bed too.
He held Grace by the hand and dragged her out of Tommy’s room. They saw Julia on their way out.
“Put Tommy to sleep” he ordered before walking away while Julia bowed.
Ethan let go of her as soon as they were in the room.
“I don’t want to see you near my brother!” He warned with his index finger pointed at her.
“The next time I see you around my brother, you will regret it!” He threatened before storming out of the room.
Grace just stood there hurt. She didn’t understand why he had to be so ¢ruel and mean.
She was trying to make up for everything Ariel did and all she gets in return, is this cold attitude of his.
She sat on the bed as her heart felt so heavy. She is the type that cry and laugh easily.
Tears started falling from her eyes uncontrollably. She wondered what she did wrong to deserve all this. Then isn’t her fault, it is Ariel’s.
She cried until she fell asleep.

An hour after she fell asleep, Ethan walked into the room and met her sleeping.
She didn’t change her clothes and the position she was sleeping in is uncomfortable.
He wanted to help her sleep properly but he didn’t. Why would he do that? It’s not like she deserves it.

The next morning Grace woke up with a stiff neck. She felt so uncomfortable and in pain. She managed to take her bath and went downstairs for breakfast.
“Good morning first lady” Blair greeted with a respectful bow and a smile.
“Morning” she replied unable to turn her head.
“Are you okay? It looks like you hurt your neck” she stated, worriedly.
” Yeah, I think I got a stiff neck” she replied sitting down at the dining table.
” Oh mine! It must hurt a lot. I will just go and get the doctor” she said and brought out her phone to dial a number but Grace stopped her.
“A doctor? For what? Who is sick?” She asked, confused.
This is not the first time she will be having a stiff neck and it is always fine after a little massage and ice treatment.
Why will she get a doctor? She wondered.
“For your neck” she replied.
“That is not necessary, I will be fine after a massage” she said, simply.
“Are you sure? “Blair asked worriedly.
” Of course, I am” she replied.
“I will contact the masseur” she said before walking away.
Grace found it uncomfortable to eat but she had no choice. After eating she got a massage, but it didn’t make a difference.
She knew Blair will get a doctor if she told the truth. She lied and told her she is all better when she asked.
She even made her turn her neck sideways to be sure she is fine. This is not the first time she will force herself to do something so she did it. The pain almost drove her wild.
She sat beside the window in her room as her mind drifted to her sisters. She was worried about April the most.
When did she suddenly become like that? She can’t go there all the time so she should find a way to contact them.
“Blair!” She called and the door opened to reveal her.
“You called for me?” She asked.
“Yes, can I please get two cell phones?” She requested.
” Sure” Blair replied before leaving.

“Wow, today is fast. I can’t believe we are done” Maria said happily as she stared around.
” If we leave now, we can still make it in time for the first period” Felix said.
” Let’s go” Maria said and turn to walk out if the kitchen.
Felix turned to see Monica staring at something. “Aren’t you coming?” He asked.
“Isn’t that more plates?” She asked pointing at a trolley containing plates.
“What on Earth?!” Maria freaked. “This is more than the first one!”
” Hi guys” Missy wave as she stopped pushing the trolley.
” What are you doing here, bch?” Maria glared.
“I bought food for some students, extra food and I heard it your responsibility to wash the plates. I brought it for you” she said and pointed at the trolley.
” Why don’t you clean it yourself?” Monica snapped.
“Why would I do that? When you guys are here?” She asked with a smirk.
” I am going to ki.ll you!” Maria yell as she tried to h it her but Felix stopped her.
” She’s not worth it” he said and Maria nodded but still angry and just wish she will be able to sIap some senses into her.
Missy felt embarrassed that it came from Felix. She walked away angrily.
“That wtch!” Maria cur$ed as Felix let go of her.
The three of them felt so tired as they walked back to class, they were in free period.
Today is worse than yesterday. Yesterday they only missed two periods but today they missed three.
“Monica and Maria Darwin” A lady call standing in front of the class.
” They are in trouble” Missy smirk.
“Yes” Monica answered standing up, slowly.
“This if for you and your sister” she said giving her a small shopping bags.
” Thank you” she mutter and the lady left.
Maria rushed towards her and took one of the bags. She opened it and murmuring filled the room.
“Is that the latest edition?” A girl gasp as Maria brought out a brand new cell phone.
“It is worth eight hundred thousand dollars” another commented.
” I heard only the super rich can afford it because you have to pay some money apart from the price” another girl said.
” Who would get us such an expensive phone?” Monica asked after listening to the students comment.
“Let’s check it out” Maria said as she switched on the phone.

“Your Excellency, the people are really confused. Some say you don’t care while others say you are intentionally starving them” senator Jasper stated.
” Why would I do that? They are my people” Ethan scoff.
” How can you believe such thing and even has the guy to say it here?” Vice president Manuel snapped at senator Jasper.
“I never said I believe it. I just want his Excellency to be aware of everything that the people are saying and feeling” he replied.
” You should worry about what his Excellency is feeling too. He is trying his best” Manuel said
” Yes but if we depend on him trying his best. The people will starve to death” he blunted.
” I understand what you are trying to say but I want you to understand that I am trying my best too” Ethan said.
” I keep ordering food but I have no idea why they aren’t delivering it despite the fact that we pay them” he added sadly.

“Are you sure you didn’t get an expensive phone?” She asked as soon as Blair returned.
She warned her not to get expensive phone but Blair didn’t listen, she got the latest phone. All the expenses was 2.8 million.
“Not at all” she replied. “Does your neck still hurts?” She asked.
” No, don’t worry” Grace replied.
” Did you hurt your neck?” Tommy asked as he walked into the room.
” Welcome” Blair greeted with a bow before turning to Grace, “I will excuse you too”.
“What happened to your neck? Did my brother hurt you?” He asked with concern as he observe how she moved her neck, gently.
One can tell she’s in pain.
“No, it’s nothing. I’m fine now” she replied.
” I’m sorry about yesterday. It’s my fault my brother hurt you”he apologized and Grace found him cute.
” You don’t have to apologise” she said and pulled him closer.
” Have you eaten?” She asked and he nodded positively.
” Good” she said and cup his cheeks.
“I have some homework to do, I will leave now” he said before walking out of the room.
” This hurts, I guess it is indeed serious” she mumble as she tried to stand up.

Later at night
Grace ate dinner with Tommy. Ethan was not back yet so they ate alone.
She decided to have a cold shower maybe that will help her neck.
She groaned as she got out of the bath tub. She was checking her neck in the mirror when her phone rang.
She turned to go and get it when she sIip and h it her head on the floor, she lost ¢on¢iousness immediately.
