We got a place and the gate of the treasure hunt appeared.
As usual everyone touched the gate and went in, leaving me behind.
I got to close to the gate and the martial arts teacher stopped me from walking further.
“Wait” she said and l turned to look at her.
“Make sure to come out on time, l think someone saved you the other day but you might not be that lucky this time, today is the third and final round of the treasure hunt and the gate disappears parmanently after two hours and will never appear again.” She said.
“Thanks ma’am, have heard you” l said.
“You may leave now, remember to come back early” she said.
“I will” l replied and did an “air quote.”
“Mitcheew! They are just being dramatic, acting as if they care” l muttered.
The gate opened immediately as l touched it.
I walked in and it closed behind me.
Why am l always alone? Where are the others?
I searched everywhere hoping l can find a pair of my classmates but there were none.
I sighed and scratched my head in fraustration.
Where do l start now?
Oops! I almost forgot, l have super powers now, l will have to find a treasure alone today, Lonrenzo isn’t here to help, l thought and pouted sadly.
Even if it’s few seconds remaining, l will teleport to the school.
It feels good to be powerful.
I saw a cave at the side of a water fountain.
Wow! It’s beautiful, why is there such a beautiful water fountain in this forest?
The cave was glowing and l was attracted to it.
I became so curious to know what’s in it.
I got up, took my backpack and headed to the fountain.
On getting there, l saw that l had to pass through the fountain before l can get to the cave.
How do l pass through the fountain?
I dropped my backpack on the floor and stared at the water.
So lovely l said and touched it.
Is not that deep, l can swim through it, l said inwardly.
Least l forgot, l have supernatural powers now,l can just teleport to the cave.
I picked up my back pack and closed my eyes.
I opened them and found myself in the same spot.
What’s happening, why are my powers not working?
I have to swim then l said and dived into the water.
I tried swimming but couldn’t, l was drowning.
I tried hard to swim and hold my breathe but l couldn’t, l found myself sinking, l was going down beneath the water.
I couldn’t help it, l let myself be, cause it seemed like l was powerless and nothing l did count.
I closed my eyes and tried to use my powers but it didn’t work, l was only going deeper.
Am l going to die? I thought as l keep sinking.
“Who is she?” I heard someone say as l fell on something with a loud thud and everything went blank.

? Lonrenzo?
“Master please” l screamed as the pain was so unbearable.
It’s been only an hour and am feeling so much pains.
“Please master” l pleaded as beards of sweat formed on my forehead.
I knew he could hear me.
“Please master”l begged and screamed out loudly in pains and he appeared immediately.
“Shut up Lonrenzo” he said annoyingly.
“Am sorry teacher please” l begged.
“You are disturbing the firmanent with your screams and stop pleading, accept your punishment wholeheartedly.” He said.
“Please master, am sorry, please give me another punishment, this is too painful.”
“Shut up” he yelled.
“Am sorry.”
“She is a threat to the world Lonrenzo,a little drop of her blood can do things you can’t imagine, why will you call someone like her innocent? you were born to save the world Lonrenzo and she was born to destroy the world, you can’t be together, it’s either you kill her or she destroys you.” He said.
“Is there no other way?”l asked.
“She would have been safe, if you didn’t break her first seal, you ve broken two of her seals already and it’s remaining three, if she breaks the last seal she will become a demon and there is nothing you and l can do about it.”
“I broke her first seal in order to save her life.”
“What if the three remaining seals don’t get broken, can you overlook her? Please master.” I asked.
“Lonrenzo why are you so bent on saving her?.”
“She is innocent” l said.
“Shut up” master yelled and slapped me hard across the face.
“You are going insane Lonrenzo, l have wasted my time teaching you, l will tell the emperor about this matter.”
“No please don’t tell my father about it, please.” I begged.
“You are the crown prince Lonrenzo and the prosperity of your people should be your priority, how many times do l have to say this?what have come over you? Ever since you met the demon girl you have changed completely.”
“Am sorry master”l said.
“Stop saying sorry, that’s not gonna change the fact that you v’e gotten a soft spot for her, l will tell the emperor about this matter and don’t even think about leaving without serving your punishment, am watching you” he said and disappeared.

Why do l feel something is off?
Why will the firmanent master give me such punishment?
The firmanent master doesn’t go back on his words, he will definitely punish me for sure.
I kept walking through a bush path,l stared at the pearl the master gave me.
He said this will lead me to the man that knows everything about the murder of my family.
How can a pearl lead me to someone?
“Dreyfus” l heard a familiar voice.
“Master” l said and bowed.
“Are you running away from your punishment Dreyfus, said since when did you start misbehaving?”
“But am already on my way master” l replied confused.
Master threw a ball of lightening at me and l fell to the ground and the pearl fell off my hands.
“What’s that?” Master asked as he bent to pick it up.
“You gave it to me earlier, don’t you remember?”l asked.
“What are you talking about Dreyfus?” Are you going crazy?” Master asked.
“This pearl is made with black magic, how can l give out such an unclean object?” Master said.
Then it dawned on me, have been decieved, the person l meant earlier was an imposter.
I threw the pearl away immedaitely.
“That pearl can make you forget your loved ones if being held for too long” master said.
“Master please you can’t punish me now, Skylar, Maya l think they are in danger, l have been decieved.”
