I and Steve are growing close everyday, I’ve even grown fond of him and I have unrevealed feelings but I never made it obvious for these past three weeks
We went to dinners together, ate lunches together,he always comes to my shop and when I insisted he shouldn’t get me attendants,he once joined Dana in serving the customers though he used face cover so people won’t start gossiping about the son of a commissioner and a medical doctor himself, selling rice cakes
Today he came as usual and told me we’re going for dinner
“Today’s dinner is a special one, so we’re branching at a spa to get you ready” he said and I squinted
“Why?* I asked
“You’ll know very soon” he replied as we entered the car and the driver drove to fancy spa, the best here, patronized by only rich people
“Isn’t this too expensive?” I asked as we got out of the car after Parking in the valet parking lot
“We haven’t even entered yet” he said and pulled me in, he handed me over to an attendant
“Do it diligently” he said as I was taken away
My body was waxed first and then treated, manicure, pedicure, and face treatment was applied, my hair was coiled at the ends and perfectly fell on my shoulders, I checked myself out and smiled….I’m beautiful!
I was dressed up and I went back outside to meet Steve
His eyes widened as he saw me
My legs started shaking cos he’s really having an eyefull of me
“Stop staring and….tell me how I ….look” I said calmly and that’s when he came back from the land of staring
“You look…… beautiful and dishy” he said and I smiled
“Can we go now?” He asked
“Sure” I replied as we went out of the spa and and we were driven to a dinner hall, different from the one we’ve been going
We sat and almost immediately, steak was brought in two plates with a bottle of wine but as a dinner hall,this place should be full of people, it’s amazing that there’s nobody here
“Why is this place quiet?* I asked indirectly
“Cos we have it all to ourselves tonight” he answered and I smiled, he booked it
“Silly” I mumbled as we started eating but he barely ate cos he’s staring at me throughout
“We came here so you could stare at me all night?”
“I guess so” he replied
“Oh really”
“Yes, because you’re so beautiful” he replied and I faced the floor
“Helga, I know I’ve brought this up many times but you refused to talk about it, I shouldn’t be talking about it right now but I can’t just pretend everything is fine when it’s not….. Helga, I really love you, if I have no feelings for you, you know I won’t keep probing” he said seriously, dropping his fork and knife and holding my hands on the table
“Look at me Helga, just say your mind, tell me anything…..but please let it be positive” he said and I smiled
“I….. honestly,, I …
“Please talk to me” he interrupted
“I also like you” I said shyly
“You like me?” He asked with an hopeful look
“I love you” I replied, facing the floor like I’m expecting it to give me credits
“Look at my face” he said but I can’t, especially after saying that
He raised my face up and I saw him smiling
“Helga, do you mean what you just said?* He asked seriously
“Yes” I said boldly and he stood up from his seat happily and came to mine, he hugged me tightly
“I love you so much!” He said as I tightened the hug
He cupped my face and before I knew it, he caught my lips in his and we kssed passionately…lost in the world of passion
The ringing of my phone j.erked us back as we broke the kss and I took my phone, it’s Hellen, a video call to be precise
I picked and it connected immediately, I can see her all smiles with Stanley beside her, holding her left hand
? Hi Helga (she waved)
? Watssup Hellen, and watssup again with Stanley holding unto you
? Guess what?
? You two are dating?
? Oh Helga, you’re too knowing, how did you know
? She’s smart (Stanley interrupted)
? Thanks inlaw for saying that (i said and Hellen knocked him playfully, I smiled)
? So we’re cordially inviting you to the birthday party of krystan on Friday! (Hellen announced)
? Krystan?”
? Yes, Krystal and Stanley, or have you forgotten my second name is Krystal?
? I remember, so you mean your birthday is on the same day?
? Yes, isn’t this destiny?
? Silly, so you both are throwing a party together
? Sure
? That’ll be…. (superb!, Steve interrupted)
? What!, Isn’t that Steve’s voice (Hellen asked)
? Yes, we’re actually on a date
? Dude, don’t tell me you’ve got Helga too (Stanley said as Steve came fully on screen and planted a soft kss on my cheeks, I blushed)
? Oh my gawd!, Steve! (Stanley exclaimed)
? What?, She’s my lady too (Steve answered)
? Helga, why didn’t you tell me you two have started going out (Hellen asked)
? As if you told me when you and Stanley started going out…well, we started dating tonight
? I’m happy for you
? I’m happy for you too
? Dude, some accolades for you (Stanley said and Steve laughed hysterically)
? So when is your own “Helste” party?” (Hellen asked)
? Soon (Steve replied)
? Catch you guys later, and Helga, dad is waiting
? I’m going home right now
? Cool, see ya!
I disconnected and sighed
“Hellen has changed a lot” I said
“Stanley is enough to change anyone, and they look happy together” Steve said
“So how about your sister?, You told me about her, how’s she gonna cope with the news of their dating?” I asked
“Oh you mean Rihana?, She’ll just accept fate” I replied
“You think so?” I asked and he nodded
“Time To go home”I said
“Yes ma’am” he replied and we held hands as we walk out, smiling for tonight is a memorable night

“I can’t believe the shy Helga can fall for Steve” I said unbelievably after disconnecting
“Just like I can’t believe you can love me” Stan replied and locked eyes with me for a while
“You’re one in a million” I said
“And you’re a rare gem” he replied as I Stood up and walked towards the window, I pulled the curtains and stared at the stars
Stanley came and wrapped his hands on my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder, his fresh breath brushing away my worries
“They’re beautiful” I said, referring to the stars
“Just like you” he replied and I smiled as I faced him, he held unto my waist while I held unto his shoulders, standing on my toes cos he’s taller
“Thanks for loving me” I wishpered softly
“And thanks for loving me back” he replied and caught my lips in a passionate kss I wished would Last forever…
