The following morning Ann woke up with breakfast on bed. Max made sure to wake up early and prepare the food for her “Ooh” she cooed “Max thanks that’s so sweet of you” she smiled “Anything for you milady” he replied stealing a kss from her.
“Awwnn the food is so delicious, what’s the name?” She asked while stuffing more food into her mouth.
“It’s called fried rice” he replied.
“Wow I love it can you teach me how to prepare it”.
“Yes ma’am”.
After consuming the one in the plate she requested for another one which Max gladly gave to her.
Max couldn’t stop staring at her, she’s unique in her own way.
“Stop gwaking” Ann laughed.
“Huh I love staring into your eyes” he smiled.
“Awwnn” Ann replied battling her eyes lids at him ‘Am full” she exclaimed.
“Thanks for the food you are such a darling”.
“Yeah am your knight in shining armor” he smiled.
“What?” She scoffed.
“Go shower, I will be right back” he replied and walked out of the room.
“Let me drop the plate in the kitchen” she tried to collect the plates from him.
“No milady go shower I have a surprise for you” he refused and walked out.
Ann stood up and entered into the shower to take her bath.
When she was done she was suprised to find a flared skirt and white shirt placed neatly on the bed and heel place at the foot of the bed.
She later saw a bag placed on the bed, she opened the bag and saw some undies in it and a tag ‘you can wear your clothes in the closet’.
She smiled to herself and picked up the clothes then walked into the closet to do her stuff.
When she walked out of the closet she was so breathtaking the flared skirt fits her perfectly including the undies which makes her wonder how he got her size.
She walked gracefully down the stairs..
Max was standing at the entrance of the staircase.
He was clad in a white shirt and blue jean trousers and a pair of sneakers. He looks so casual unlike his suits and all.
“Milady you look so fabulous”he whispered as he held out his hand for her which she took gracefully and he peppered some ksses on her neck.
“Max” she moaned.
“Huh don’t let me spoil the surprise let’s go” he said as he ushered her out of the house.
Max led her to the garage
“Princess choose the one you want us to ride” he said, Ann was wowed at the collection of cars he possessed.
“Huh Max I don’t know about cars”she pouted.
“Well let’s take the G-wagon then”.
”which one is the G-wagon?” She asked.
“There” he points to a beautiful white car with the name Max A inscribed on the number plate.
“Wow” Ann whispered.
“Get in my lady” he said and pushed the door opened for her.
He entered the car and manoeuvre his way out of the compound down into the Lagos high way.
“Where are we going” Ann asked looking at the beautiful buildings in the street of Lagos.
“Princess it’s a surprise” he smiled and focus on the road.
“Well let’s play some jams” she said.
“Ok”.
“Yeah play this song Duduke by Simi I really love that song”.
“Woah when did you start listening to stuff like that” he grinned.
“Well” she smiled “since I arrived Nigeria, I downloaded a lot of jams”
“Hmm I can see you’re warming up to our country”. “Yep”.
*After some minutes.*
“Here we are!” He stated.
Ok
“Wow” Ann muttered looking at the gigantic building in front of her.
“Max where’s this place?” She whispered.
“Well you will know when we get inside”.
He finds a suitable place to park the car, after he parked the car he opened the door for her.
They both walked hand in hand into the building
“A museum! ” She exclaimed.
“Yes” he replied uncomfortably “do you like it”.
“Like? I love it so much thank you” she plants a wet kss on his lips .
Max beconed the Man in charge of the museum and he joined them.
“Tell me about this museum” she said excitedly.
“This is the Lagos museum, it was established in 1957 and it’s located at Onikan Lagos Island”.
“Woah what do we have here?”.
“The collections we have here are Nigerian arts including pieces of statuary and carvings archeological and ethnographic exhibit.
Did I forget to tell you that this museum was not founded by a Nigerian, it was founded by Kenneth Murray”.
“Woah” was all she could utter “um sir can you show me these things”
“Yeah sure” The man replied leading her to deeper part of the room.
Ann was wowed at what she was seeing and the man took turn to explain every objects to her.
After touring round the museum they both bade the man good bye and they took their leave.
“Wow Africa is so cool, I don’t know watching those ancient stuffs is so much fun” she chipped happily.
“Well Ann you are just getting started” he chuckled.
He ushered her into the car and they zoom off on the highway “Where are we going” Ann asked for the umpteenth time.
“Ann it’s a surprise and suprise are meant to be surprise” he said flashing her a grin.
“Ok” she replied “thanks you” she whispered.
“No sweetie don’t thank me yet, we are just getting started” he smiled while placing his hands on her laps.
