SHARING A ROOM TOGETHER?

It was after we entered that I realised it wasn’t a house like I thought but a hotel!!
“It’s a hotel?” I asked
Evelyn chuckled
“Yes” she replied
“We’re staying in a hotel?” I asked
“You ask too many question Liyah” she groaned
I rolled my eyes
“I’m not staying in a hotel room” I replied
She chuckled
“Not a room, Liyah but a penthouse” she replied
Hotel? Penthouse?
Whatever!!!
“Can we go in please” I said
“Well you have to wait a bit” she answered
She’s kidding right?
“Wait?”
“Yea sis” she replied
“Why?” I asked
“Because, she needs to check you in” she said
Check me in?
I groaned
“You know I need to clean up” I said
“Of course I know, promise it won’t take time” she said
I rolled my eyes
“Where are the rest?” I asked
“In their room, I guess” she replied
In their room, she guess?
I groaned
Soon, the receptionist came to attend to us
“Well” she said
“Can you be fast please” I said getting weak already
“You will be sharing the penthouse with Kyle” she dropped the bombshell
I laughed
“You’re joking right?” I asked
“I’m not, your name appear with his” she said
I groaned
“You’ll excuse me please” she said
I turned to face Everlyn
“It’s your plan work right?” I asked
She groaned
“No it’s not” she replied
I stamped my feet on the floor
“I hate you all!!” I yelled and ran out
She ran after me and held me
“It’s just sharing the sitting room, kitchen and dining room with him, it’s not as if you’re sharing the same bedroom” Everlyn said
“I don’t care!!” I yelled
“I just don’t want to see his face” I added
“I can talk to the receptionist, she will get you another room”, she said
“You’ll?” I asked
She smiled
“Sure” she replied
We went back inside and saw Melvin and Kyle standing close to the reception
“I’m not staying with that spooky princess, never!!” Kyle yelled
I groaned
“Who want to stay with you too?” I asked, ignoring the pain i was feeling
“I wasn’t talking to you!!” he yelled
“Don’t you dare yell at me!!” I flare up
He groaned
“I’m leaving!” he said and made to leave
“What else can a weakling do, if not to run away!” I yelled angrily
He turned back
“Are you talking to me?” He asked
I rolled my eyes
“And if I talk to you, what will you do?, huh?” I asked
He glare at me
“Liyah, that’s enough” Everlyn yelled
I groaned
Lian came to join us
“There’s a change of plan” he announced but when he saw the look on our faces, he groaned
“What’s going on?” He asked
“It’s Liyah and Kyle. They’re to share a penthouse but they ain’t accepting that” Everlyn explained
He sigh
“Well I think the news I came with is worst than that” he said
I groaned
“What can be worse than sharing space with him” I said
He chuckled
“You won’t want to know that” he said
“Just say it” I said, rolling my eyes
“Well the king just called. We’re leaving this place” he said
I smiled
That’s better!!
“But” he said
I rolled my eyes
“But what?” I asked
“Evelyn stays with my parent” he said
“Melvin?” I asked
“He stays with me, at my house” he said
I groaned
“And me?” I asked
“He wants you and Kyle to go stay in New World Beijing hotel. He’s already booked a suite for you” he said
I groaned
Book a suite?
Why?
“You’re joking right?”
“I’m not, Liyah. He thinks staying together will make you get to know him and love him” he said
Kyle groaned
“I don’t want to know her!!” He murmured
“Who want to know you too” I replied back.
He glared at me but I wasn’t move by that
“I will rather die a lonely woman than end up with you” I said
“Liyah” Everlyn called
I ignore her
“That’s not all Liyah. He said, you and Kyle are not only sharing a room but also must be seen together always. He wants you both to represent him at a dinner party coming up tonight” he said
He should just kill me!!!
“That’s not going to happen!!” I yelled
“It has too, Liyah” he said
“Is there no other options?” Kyle asked
“I’m sorry Kyle, that’s the only option” Lian replied
“No!!. I’m booking a room here” I yelled
“Liyah, you’re not allow to attend the exhibition unless you agree to stay with him” he said
I groaned
Oh my!!
“He won’t know” I said
“I’m sorry he will. Alvin is here. He’s to go with you” he said
I groaned
For dad to send his most trusted guard to China, it means one thing. He’s damn serious, !!
Now I have no option!!
If I don’t stay with Kyle, then I can’t attend the exhibition. If I don’t attend the exhibition, how will I display my artworks!!!
I let out the tears, threatening to fall
That’s unfair!!
I can’t miss this exhibition, not for anything
“I’ll go with him” I said
I heard Kyle groan
Wait!
Why is Melvin not saying anything?
I looked at him but he looked away
He only does that when he doesn’t want to see me cry
I cleaned my face
“Everlyn can I see you?” I asked
“Sure” she said
We walked a bit away from the rest
“I’m so sorry dad made that decision” she cooed
I smiled
“I never knew he will do that, I wish there’s something I could do” she said
I groaned
None of us have a choice
“I need to clean up” I said, changing the topic
“Oh mine, I forgot. I will get you a pad” she said
She left and came back few minutes later
“Let’s go” she said
We went to a room and I had to quickly clean up. Although I still feel the pain, I feel refreshed and better.
We went outside to see Alvin, already waiting. I did not bother saying anything to them. I just went into the car.
“Liyah” Melvin cooed
“I’m so sorry” he said
“You should go, don’t keep Lian waiting” I said
“Are you going to be fine?” He asked
I nodded
“Go” I said
He sigh and finally left
I sigh
I don’t have options, so I have to stay with him whether or not I like it!!!
Kyle entered into the car and we drove out of the hotel
“I need to get something from the pharmacy” I told Alvin
“Ok” he replied
The car stopped in front of a pharmacy and I stepped out. I came back few minutes with some drugs.
“We can keave now” I said

“Welcome to New World Beijing Hotel. How may I help you?” The receptionist asked
I wanted to answer her question but I noticed she was fl1rting with Kyle, and it seems he was enjoying it
I groaned
“Do you always fl1rt with people’s husband?” I asked
She flushed in embarrassment
“I’m so sorry ma’am, I never knew he was your husband” she said
I groaned
Husband?
I never said he was my husband
“He’s not…..” Kyle cut me off
“We have a booking here, can you check it. Kyle and Liyah” he said
I hissed silently
“It’s on the last floor. Here’s your key” she said
“Please direct the guards upstairs, when they come with our bags” Kyle told Alvin
“I will” he replied
Kyle made to leave but she called him back
“Do enjoy your stay here” she said
He smiled
I hissed and walked past them
“You can call me if you need anything sir” she said
“Thanks girl” Kyle said
I turned around, while Klye walked past me
“He won’t be needing your help” i yelled
She chuckled
“Stupid girl” I cursed
My eyes are on her!!!
She tries anything funny, I will show her the crazy part of me!!!

I laughed as I watch Liyah’s reaction to the receptionist
Does that mean she likes me?
No, that girl doesn’t like me
I left her alone to deal with the receptionist and made to entered into the elevator, when she brushed me aside. I moved a bit.
I groaned
This girl is too aggressive!!!
What’s her problem
She entered and must have pressed the button inside, I had to hold the door fast to prevent it from closing. I succeeded In entering.
She hissed angrily
I rolled my eyes
She kept muttering some inaudible words.
“Can you keep quiet!!” I yelled
“Don’t yell at me” she warned
I groaned
“I can’t believe I will be staying with a spooky psychopath” I murmured
I noticed she didn’t reply me back which is kind of weird
The princess I know won’t keep shut and even if she does, she will definitely glare at me or even groan.
I turned and noticed she was holding her head
“Are you ok?” I asked
She didn’t reply
I tried touching her but she shifted and ended up falling but I was quickly to hold her. Her eyes were closed
“Hey” I cooed but no respond
She must have fainted or something!!
“Liyah!!!” I called but no respond
I stared at her beautiful face
“How can someone be this beautiful but sassy” I thought
I touched her face and noticed she was burning up. I need to lower down her temperature. The elevator stopped and I carried her up, holding her bag of drugs. I took her to the room and dropped her on the bed.
I went to the bathroom and get a bowl of water and a towel. I placed the towel into the bowl and took it back to where she lay.
I touched her forehead and noticed the burning has increased. I quickly squeezed the water out of the towel and sat beside her and placed the cold towel on her head.

It’s been over an hour now, her temperature has reduced but she’s still sleeping.
I sigh and decided to go take a shower. When I was done, I changed into a short and shirt and went back to check on her.
As I sat beside her, I couldn’t help but stare at her beautiful face. I was lost staring at her until I heard her speak up
“Are you trying to kss me!!” She yelled, hitting me hard on my face
What???
D…d….did she just slap me!!!
