Episode 8
Lisa raised up her head from the guy chest and met the daring look on Edward face, she gasped as she saw it is him, she is still laying on him and it feels so good.
Edward pushed her slightly and stood up cleaning himself, his shirt is a bit rough and dirty.
Lisa look down and find it hard to look at his face.
” I am sorry Edward ” She apologize as she regain her voice.
” Sorry for not looking where you are going or for ruining my shirt ?” Edward yelled and Lisa flinch.
The look on her face was even making him more angry.
” I am sorry for ruining your shirt, please I am sorry ” Lisa apologize again avoiding his eyes.
She doesn’t know why she is feeling nervous around Edward and why she can’t show her boldness and crazy side of her.
She hate it when she is being yelled at.
But now Edward she is feeling weak.
” Next time try and concentrate on where you are going, I hate clumsiness ” Edward said and turn to leave, he took a few steps but stop as he heard Lisa whimpering in pains.
She actually hurt her right leg due to the hard fall, she tried to walk away when she realized the pains, it hurt badly.
” Ahhh ” She moan again.
Edward wanted to leave her since it is not his concern but he found himself caring.
” What is it ? ” Edward asked coming back to check on her.
” I hurt my leg, I can’t walk properly, it hurt badly ” Lisa said almost tearing up.
Edward look at her and chuckled, she is beautiful, he found himself admiring her.
” What ! why am I admiring her ” Edward thought.
” Let me take you to the school clinic, can you walk by yourself ? ” Edward asked bending to carry her.
” No, I can’t walk ” Lisa replied.
Edward carried her in his hands, she hang her hands around his neck as he walked her to the school clinic.

” Anyone here ? ” Edward yelled as he entered inside the school clinic.
” Coming ” A voice said from the other side.
A man came out and rushed to them.
” She got into a minor accident and hurt her leg, the right one prescisely ” Edward said.
” You can put her on the bed ” The man said.
Edward gently put Lisa down on the bed, immediately his hands left her, she felt bad.
She look at him and took her face away.
” I think you can be able to walk by yourself when he treat your leg ” Edward said and left, without giving Lisa a chance to talk.
” Oh, he left, what is wrong with me ? ” Lisa wondered out loud.

** Kingsley Hospital.
Jasmine sat besides her mum, she is stroking her hair, crying softly, she kiss her cheeks tenderly and use a finger to wipe the tears on her face.
” Get well mum, I am missing you already, even though you are still here ” Jasmine said and held her hand.
She took her phone and tried Naomi number again, it went through, she picked up at the second ring.
? Hey baby ” Naomi yelled happily.
? Yeah bestie ” Jasmine replied in a cold tone.
? Wait, what is wrong with your voice? Did you cry? what happened baby girl ? ” Naomi asked adjusting on where she is sitting.
? Mum, she is in the hospital right now, she passed out ” Jasmine replied sadly.
? What! Which hospital ? ” Naomi asked.
? Kingsley Hospital ” Jasmine replied.
? Okay I am coming, I will be there once I am done with the delivery I have, I will also informed the boss okay, she will be fine, stop crying, it break my heart ” Naomi said almost tearing up.
? Okay baby, I love you ” Jasmine said.
? I love you so much bestie, have you eaten ? ” Naomi asked.
? No ” Jasmine replied.
? Okay baby don’t worry, just in an hour, bye ” Naomi said and cut off the call as her attention is need right now.
Jasmine sighed and drop her phone on the bed.
” mum, when are you going to wake up, the doctor said you are alright, why can’t you wake up mum ” Jasmine said and lay on her mother.
A nurse walked in and Jasmine jerked up.
” I want to give her some medication ” The nurse said as she observe the way Jasmine look at her.
” Will she be fine ?, Is she really alright ? ” Jasmine asked.
” Yeah , she is alright, she will be awake by tomorrow, I am starting the treatment now, can you excuse us ” The nurse said.
” Okay ” Jasmine nodded and left.

** Library
Michael is reading a novel with seriousness, he is what you termed as a book addict, he is so much addicted to books, and that has help boost his vocabulary and his intelligence. The Iibrarian knew him as one of the most visited student in the school, he is allow to pick any book of his choice.
Selene just came in to the Library, she walked around hoping to see Michael, she search him with her eyes, she is about to give up when she sighted him at the other end reading with a cute face.
” Everything about him is perfect ” Selene said silently.
Her heart started beating fast again, she felt chill down her body, she bit on her lips and nervously walked to him.
She smile and sat opposite him, she took out a novel and started reading it, hoping Michael will see her, he is so engaged in the book that he didn’t notice someone presence near him.
Selene stare at him, he is reading with a serious face.
” What can I do to get his attention ” Selene thought.
She intentionally push a book near her and it fell, fortunately that got Michael attention, he turned and his eyes landed on Selene who is trying to pick up the book.
Michael smile looking at her beauty, admiring her, her hair moved swiftly brushing her eyes, she push it away moving it to her back, he came back to reality when selene picked up the book and sat upright facing him with a smile.
“Hey Sel ” Michael said softly.
” Hi Mic ” Selene replied shly.
” How long have you been here ? ” Michael asked.
” Not long ago, you were busy reading ” Selene said.
” Oh, I am sorry I didn’t notice your presence, you are here to read too ? ” Michael asked.
” Yeah ” Selene nodded.
” You like novel too ? ” Michael asked with a cute smile.
Selene blushed as he smiled at her.
” Not really, but since you like them, I like them too ” Selene replied.
Michael raised his brows, he is confused by what she meant.
” Huh ? ”
” What ? ” Selene asked and pouted.
” You are more cute when you pout and blush ” Michael said in a sxy voice.
Selene cheeks turned red like tomatoes, she is heavily blushing.
” You are making me to blush ” Selene said shly.
Michael let out a short laughter.
” What did you mean by you don’t like novels but since I do you too like them ? ” Michael asked.
” It is not really anything serious, I was just joking around ” Selene asked facing him and cupping her face in her palms.
” Nothing, just curious ” Michael replied.
Both of them became silent, starring at each other, everyone in his / her thoughts.
They came back to their senses as they heard a notification signifying lunch time.
” Oh it is lunch time , wanna join me ? ” Selene asked.
” No, ain’t hungry, I need to finish this novel today ” Michael replied.
” Okay see you later book worm, it was fun chatting with you ” Selene said and turned to leave, she took a few steps but stop as Michael called her.
Michael smile at what she called him “ Book worm ”.
” Selene ” Michael called nervously.
” Yes ” Selene replied turning to him.
” Humm, I know we are not close but can I take you out, so we can get to know each other ” Michael said scratching the back of his head, he is actually nervous that she will reject.
” I will think about it and get back to you, see you later ” Selene said and flash him a smile.
Michael smile looking at her retreating figure.
” I might stand a chance, even her smile is cute ” Michael said and went back to his Novel.

” Where were you Selene ? ” Andy asked Selene as they are moving to the cafeteria.
” I went to the library to read ” Selene replied.
” You went to read or to see Michael ? ” Andy said.
” What ever ” Selene snapped.
” Where is Lisa ? ” Selene asked.
” I don’t know, she left the class since , I don’t know what happ… ” Andy speech got interrupted as Lisa called out to them.
” Hey girls ” Lisa waved running to them.
” Where were you ? ” Andy asked.
” I hurt my leg, so I was in the school clinic ” Lisa replied.
” Ohh sorry girl, but you are fine now right ? ” Selene asked.
” Yeah, I got gist for you girls, but let’s move to the cafeteria, I am hungry right now ” Lisa said and started pulling the girls.
” Easy girl ” Selene and Andy yelled, laughing.
