So far everything has just been so…normal,I think. Jasper doesn’t really come around to school anymore,He’s hardly around.
I still kept being friends with Alice but we try as much as possible to avoid any issue about Jasper or Austin.
Austin has been hanging around,We talk sometimes but it’s only as far as it can go,I don’t let him kss me which he tries to do on a daily.
“Wait..So you and Jasper are no longer together?” My mom askee as we ate lunch together.
“Mom,we were just pretending to be dating”
“Why? Because of Austin?”
“Yeah,i did that to get back at him”
“Did it work?”
“Well, Yeah,i mean now Austin is willing to do anything just to get me back”
“And are you willing to go back to him?”
“That’s the problem,Mom..I don’t know,Am so confused,i don’t know what i want”
“What’s confusing you? You can only be confused if you have another guy in mind”
“Another guy?”
“Yeah,like Jasper”
“Mom,are you insinuating that I have feelings for Jasper?”
“No,Am not,I don’t know what you are feeling inside but it could happen,I watched in movie once”
“Mom, that’s just a movie”
“Mari,I have seen the way you smile when he comes to pick you up from our house,how you two have small talks in front of the front porch and you giggle like a little kid, it’s all visible”
“Mom,you are over thinking things..Am going over to Alice’s house,We have a project to do together,Bye”

Staying away from everyone wasn’t that hard but staying away from Mari has been a little difficult,She comes to my house with Alice almost everyday and i hide away in my room.
I hear her giggle from downstairs and i smile without even knowing.
“Come in” i said and My mom walked in.
“I didn’t even knock”
“Mom, I could hear your footsteps so clearly”
“Really? I didn’t wear shoes,So you must have used your powers”
“Now that I think of it,My powers have been like extra strong lately”
“Darling,that only happens when a Zoron is either angry or…
“Or what?”
“Or in love” I bursted out laughing
“Mom,me? In love? With who?”
“Then who are you angry at?”
“Well,no one”
“Then you are in love and i think i know who” She wiggled her eyebrows.
“Mom, it’s not Mari”
“Then it’s who? Jasper,i see the way you look at her, You have been avoiding her and anytime she comes around,you go take a peep at her,I see you smile when she giggles”
“Am not really sure yet,mom, besides i think she’s trying to patch things up with her ex boyfriend”
“Oh,my beautiful son, don’t worry, everything will be fine” She kssed my forehead and walked away.

After studying for a while, Alice and i decided to go to the movies.
We were on our way out but i forgot my phone so i had to go back to grab it,i took it and turned to leave when i bumped into someone, Jasper.
Being taller than me,i had to look up,He was shirtless,Oh good lord,I gulped down on nothing.
Trying to keep my eyes away from his chest and abs was difficult.
“Um..Mari,my eyes are up here” He said in a teasing tone.
“Um.. sorry,i..i just got..i forgot my phone,yeah”
Why am i so nervous?
“It’s been so long since we last saw each other”
“Yeah,So how are you doing?”
“Am good and you?”
“Great”
There was now an awkward slience,i was trying to avoid his piercing blue eyes and the urge to hug him, What’s wrong with me?
“I’ll go now,bye” He held my hand and i felt an overpowering spark
“I just wanted to say that..You look really beautiful today”
“Thanks” He let go of my hands and i walked away, blushing like cr@zy.

The Next Day.
“Mari,Do you know there’s a new girl in school?” Alice asked as she approached me.
“I didn’t know”
“Well,there is and guys are gushing over her”
“It’s not a new thing,Boys gush over anything in skirt”
“True,i haven’t seen her yet”
“Look, it’s Jasper Hale” A student said,i looked over at the direction she was pointing to, Jasper came down from his car looking so handsome.
Suddenly,the passenger side door opened and a girl walked out, smiling at Jasper,She wore a really revealing outfit
“And he’s with the new girl, Alexia”
“That’s the new girl,how did Jasper and her meet? He hasn’t been to school in a while”
“I don’t know but trust my brother to get any girl he wants”
I watched as the both of them were talking and smiling to each other.
